I have watched so many of these but your video quality and the shots you captured are by far the best! I'm even more excited about this hike now! Thanks!
Wonderful, wonderful video. Almost like watching a professionally produced documentary! Such an inspiration and Thank you, keep these videos coming please 🙏
About to head their tomorrow for a week of hiking with four of my best friends from high school. We started a tradition of a week of hiking every year during covid in 2020 and are now celebrating the fifth anniversary with a trip abroad. We were all tasked to bring a hike proposal to the sauna during christmas to vote for which option to go for (we are all from Sweden and sauna is just... sauna). As we are all spread out around the world this week is a great way to stay connected from many months apart. This video made me want to go here, thanks for sharing!
Such a breathtaking, magical landscape ❤ what a lovely video thank you, really enjoyed it. Have subscribed and am looking forward to watching the other videos you have. Best wishes 😊
Wow! I’m about to do a two week adventure in Europe and I had never even heard of this place until your video. I’m adding Valbonë to the itinerary! Beautiful video
We did this hike in 2009. There was no "Kafe" along the way. We were 62 at the time and spent 18 days in Albania discovering a wonderful people. In 2011 we visited Kosovo because of that. There is a Power point Presentation (not video) of that.
aw that's so cool! I could only imagine what it was like back then! The Kafe is definitely a nice addition to the hike and allows you to get a nice cold beer for the top haha!
Hi! Super movie, good job, thanks for sharing. I really like watching new and interesting places. You have an interesting channel, so I'm staying and watching. Big like, stay connected. I’m a new subscriber, greetings from Poland
Very nice video I did the trip couple years ago and I loved it I was a little nervous in beginning of the trip but was such an amazing trip very nice people and very safe which I was real surprised
Amazing video as usual! We are going to Balkans in a few days and will stay in Theth for a few days. We are going to walk to the pass and back. Could you tell me which month did you take this hike? How far is the pass to Theth? Thank you!
Thank you! I did it last month so it should be very similar now as it was in the video 😊 so it was about 16km, I’d recommend hiking the way I did from valbone to Theth as it’s a slower incline and so a nicer way to hike, in Theth heading to the waterfall and the blue lagoon as they are amazing 🙌🏼
To be honest I am Albanian myself and I never New how beautiful this area was!! I heard about it but never considered going there..but now I think that will be on my list.
Hello @@Tristandewet! Great video share! Thank you! You need to do the Peaks of Balkans; visit Curraj i Eperm - it is almost an abandoned village in the valley just below the valley of Theth and Valbona (see map), you can reach via Komani lake - and which is also a must too, Shala River - all breathtaking places.. Let me know if you need more information! Enjoy as much as possible!
@@Tristandewet I recommend you visit Karavasta lagoon. Its maybe the only lagoon with so many diversities. Its like a dream place and its surprising that Europe has such a place.
For me as a Swiss i love Albania because the Landscape reminds me of Home. But its much more untouched wild Nature and much cheaper😉☺️ And the People are very very nice!
Hi Tristan! This is the most wonderful video I’ve seen about the Albanian Alpes! And your narrative, just wow💛 don’t mind me asking but in 3 weeks I’m going do hike this superb mountains but I’m a little afraid about the path. Is it well signed? Did you ever loose yourself? Thank you!
@@Tristandewet yes is actually amazing.. I think the way you explain the nature, and how you talk you should be working in national geographic channel.lol. But actually I'm serious is so good how you talk and explain things which I have yet from any other TH-cam blogger..
The most beautiful trails there are away from this particular part of the National park which is like a highway with the amount of people on it sadly. Try hiking one of the trails over to Montenegro and back into Albania - much nicer, less people and way more adventurous!
It is possible I believe but be careful because if there is a lot of snow it can be very dangerous at the top, check just before you do it to see what the snow looks like 👍🏼
I think on average it takes about 6-7 hours to complete so I’d say starting between 7am-9am would be good because then you arrive not to late in the evening 👍🏼
Hello amazing video i have a couple of questions if u dont mind, can a beginner do the hike from valbone to teth? And how much time did it take to accomplish it all? And was the trail easy to follow? Thank you
Thanks 🙏🏼 I’d say yes you could, it’s not technically difficult and it’s very easy to follow. There are some parts you need t be careful as they are by steep cliffs. I’d say 6-8 hours is about average. However give yourself more time so you ca stop and enjoy all the views cause they are amazing 👌🏼
I did this hike few days back. In my opinion it is too much hyped. But then I come from himalayas and this hike did not even break my sweat. Valbona is nice yes. But these are not really as remote valleys as wr find across Himalayas.
haha true, compared to the Himalayas these are small mountains. Its still a very beautiful mountain range and in terms of European standards a remote hike. Where would you say the best places in the Himalayas are for me to hike some remote trails?
Really nice video Tristan, made me fell in love with the north of my country. Try to make a video about Albanian riviera i am sure that will be very popular. Keep up the good job brav!!🙏

@@Itsyourreflection5226 hi! That’s great to hear! Yes the trail is pretty easy to follow and during the summer months there’s many people to do it! So just be prepared for 6-7 hours hiking and you should be great! I saw a few older people doing the hike so don’t see why you couldn’t 🙌
