The mountain scenery there is so beautiful, although it is hard to walk, but the hard walk is worth it!! When I saw those horses, I suddenly felt that they worked so hard, so pitiful! Blue eyes, waterfalls, caves make Albania a beautiful country too, thanks for sharing! 👍😃🙌
Having grown up in Colorado I love mountains. Anywhere. I enjoy all your vlogs but the mountain ones, like this one, are my favorites. This was spectacular. Who knew??
Albania looks so beautiful! I have an Albanian friend who owns and runs A Pizza restaurant up the street from me. The water looked beautiful and cold .When I lived in Northern California, I heard the ocean was very cold .One warmer Summer day i went to a local beach and there were some people ein the water. I tried it and after a few minutes I had to get out and go home. I couldn't seem to get warm so i filled the tub with hot water and took a bath .And I was fine.
Wow! Showing videos of beautiful parts of the world that most people never see. That area of Albania is gorgeous. Your videos keep getting better and better. Thanks
Hi guys! I have been meaning to add this comment for ages. We love watching your videos. Really well done. So much detail. The drone footage is always top notch too. I take videos and photographs when we travel and I know how much work it is to edit and create a good quality video. And you do this a few times a week!!! You travel to so many locations we will never get to, so thank you for taking us along with you. We also love your sense of humour and how you narrate your videos!!! THANK YOU VERY MUCH!
Magnificent, well worth the climb for those views! Adore the scenery in the Balkan states, and I know you guys will capture it all so beautifully for us! 👏🤗
Long time subscriber here! I'm so happy you are finally coming to the Balkans, it's beautiful here. Come to Bulgaria next, you would love it here! Tons of cool places to see. Here are some of my suggestions: - visit the Bulgarian seaside on the Black Sea - the old town of Nessebar, and the city of Varna. For cool beach destinations you should visit the southern part of the coast - go to towns like Sozopol, Primorsko, go jump from the Agalina cliffs. - For a more mountainous experience go visit the Rila Monastery in the heart of Rila mountain and the hike to 7 Rila Lakes. Absolutely beautiful there, a must do for anyone visiting Bulgaria. - For a more city oriented experience Plovdiv and Sofia (the capital) are all great this time of year. When in Sofia also don't miss out on the Kopitoto viewpoint which overlooks the entire city of Sofia. There are hundreds of cool locations tbh but it all depends what you're looking for. The mountainous regions are incredibly beautiful. When in Bulgaria maybe also hop across the boarder to Greece and visit the city of Thessaloniki, very cool place, the seaside promenade is very nice.
for those who consider to go there (Teth - Valbone trail) please consider do the whole trail. Yes, you got all the views from track, but you miss very beautiful Komani lake. It easy to do trip Shkoder -> Konami ferry -> Valbone -> Teth -> Shkoder or backwards. You even could start / end in Tirana. You could leave bags / luggage in Shkoder or horse could take it throw trail. There are a lot of options and Komani lake ferry is really worth it.
I've seen some other YT videos of Albania and heard about it years ago and have been interested in visiting it for a while. Looks awesome and definitely on the radar. Some nice beaches too I guess.
Hello Carol and Chris from Ahwatukee, Arizona. You 2 guys knocked it out of the ball park once again. Stunning video. Gorgeous country for sure. Makes me want to hop on a plane. Some day soon, I hope to enjoy what your are thoroughly enjoying. You two always make me smile too. Take care my friends. Tim P.S. Your Turkey videos were assume. Of all the vloggers on you tube, Jumping places is the best. Thank you.
I love the authenticity of all your videos. So down to earth and no pretenses. I accidentally found you on TH-cam and now I’m watching all your videos. I’m going to Antarctica and South America this December. Your SA vids helped me a lot on which places to see. Thanks..Keep on traveling!
Hiya, Chris and Carol, Wow, stunning. Well worth the hard work of the climb for those views. Right at the top, my knees went funny. And it is you two standing there. ☺😆 Beautiful drone footage. Perfect tunes. Nature is amazing. I bet the air was so good. Your food looked good. Cute church. Gorgeous village. Very calming place. Wow, the water is so clear. Love seeing people's reactions to the ice-cold water. You did not find the swimming place. But you had your own private little waterfall. 🥰 Not too sure about the ninja frogs thou. 😄Stunning views from your room. Lovely video. Have a wonderful week.
This is just our cup of tea! We would stay longer too. I think though this area would be more a spring or late summer visit. Beautiful video and we look forward to seeing more of Albania. Thanks for sharing 👍 ✌
Fun fact: Many Albanians are actually working in Switzerland. As Albanian tourism started developing recently many of them are building such guest houses and investing in tourism there. You shouldn't be surprised to see many of cars there with Swiss plates, especially Mercedes. This place looks awesome, it might actually feel like Switzerland on a budget, with more hospitable people actually. There are many other interesting facts that you can mention about Albania, it's a very unique country. Greetings from Serbia, I guess that Montenegro and Croatia are next on your trip.
@@georgeskanderbeg3242 theres literally no difference between albanians from kosovo and northern albania unless you go down south then you will see much different looking people and less masculine, and shorter compared to the ghegs
Very interesting to see Albanian Alps. Very rugged area. Lovely rural village. Really does look like Switzerland. Very brave getting into that cold water. Good to see you get your dog and other animal fix.
My thought each time I'm watching you: How/where do you do laundry? In public laundromats? Isn't that straining? Albania has awesome beaches, do explore those. And Montenegro is stunning as well.
😎Albania would be a wonderful place to visit, sad not many even know about this gem of a country. I have wanted to visit this nation and start at the south and go up along the coast and drop over through the mountains to some of the valleys that have really nice towns all over the nation. I was happy to see you both visiting, this gives me a chance to get a look through the eyes of You Chris and Carols eyes and get your opinions. I very much liked the location you visited as I just want the coastal myself. Thank you Carol, bless your heart for the like on Facebook on one of my posts. Got my bad stain out of my favorite blue tank from jumping places, That went with me to Merida Yucatan Mexico. Hope it gets to go somewhere else after my medical battles are won. Love you both❤💯You are still and always will be my #1 trekkers around the globe.⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐👍👍You are both 5 stars and two thumbs up radical mates. 🙏God bless and be well my friends.
just as impressive in northern Albania are two other trails still little known in comparison to Theth/Valbone. The first goes through the mountain range of Kelmendi and starts from the valley of Lepushe to its highlight the alpin "peak of Vajusha". The second one is called the "Trail of Colors" in Shishtavec. The low mountain range trail leads through lush green scenary to Caje and then Radomire. Absolutely to be recommended to all nature lovers and thrill seeking mountain bikers. And last but not least the the two spectacular natural limestone attractions in southern Albania - the Osumi Canyon near Berat and the Lengarica Canyon near Permet. Albania is so much more than its beaches.
Hey! Epic video, we're in Ksamil and heading up north in a week, definitely gonna check out these spots. Random question, but we're digital nomads and work from our laptops: were you able to get any 4G Internet in Theth?

Being that you guys travel so much, could you guys make a video about what it's like to fly in an airplane for so many hours and so often, is it scary to fly to far places being that the hours are so long, any tips for people who have never flown to far places, how to make sure your luggage arrives at your final destination when doing connecting flights, and how do you guys plan such trips in countries in which you do not speak the language to make sure you're safe at all times and that people are not trying to scam you?
