I love this tutorial! What I love is that you don't spend ages and ages dancing around the subject but that everything included in this video is useful. I feel way more educated, way faster than when I'm wading through longer, ramblier videos. Thank you. I'm subscribing.
This worked perfectly for me! I added in seasonings and a bit of oil, but same 1:1 ratio, 1 min high pressure, and 15 min keep warm made light, fluffy, perfect quinoa.
I made quinoa back to back using this recipe and this is by far the most delicious, soft and fluffy quinoa I have had. Thank you for such an amazing recipe ❤❤
This is the best recipe on YT for this. Most other say 1:1.5 ratio, and that will leave you with runny quinoa. I also spray the bottom of my IP with a bit of olive oil spray and let it keep warm for about 7 minutes before I release the pressure.
You wouldn’t believe how many pots of quinoa I’ve ruined by using the packaged instructions?! Seriously!?! And I have ruined more quinoa with some online recipes too! This is THE Best🎉 Quinoa Recipe online, that I’ve found anywhere! ❤thank you 😊
Wow, I've had my intimidating IP Duo Plus 60 for what seems to be a year, but my first attempts at anything simply aggravated me, so I packed it back into its box to think and decide if I'd made a mistake buying it. Finally decided I had to give it another try and with a bit more patience, realized I could produce perfect quinoa, at last, AND hard boiled eggs ( I was stunned at how easily the shells peeled off!!) So, I've subscribed to you to see if I can keep my good luck roll going. Thanks very much for presenting information so clearly.
Beautiful tips I would love to see a cream-of-wheat method in the IP Quick 2-minute cream of wheat or whatever you choose I am not a fan of 10-grain cereal(in bread I love it) or porridge as it does disturb my stomach a bit, but I love cream of wheat I got my IP today and tried cream of wheat 3 different ways,2 times in the pot(1 time it burned, and the next was a dried lump), the next method was in a glass bowl on a trivet with water in the IP. It was also a terrible lump Next, I tried 10-grain cereal in a glass bowl(the same method I used with cream of wheat), and it was beautiful. I put 1/2 cup 10-grain cereal and 1.5 cups of water on the "porridge" setting for 2 minutes. 10 grain is a bit like porridge, so it has a similar but less bad effect on my stomach I would love to find a way to make a great cream of wheat in there. From a few hours of experience, I prefer using a bowl rather than the pot as it is way cleaner, esp if it sticks and burns I am subbed in here mate EDIT I have wondered for years if I can freeze-cooked quinoa and never just tried it. Thanks for confirming I can freeze it How do you cook it after freezing? In a microwave,or is there a method to reheat cooked food in the instant pot like we can in a microwave? Cheers
The main benefit of the Instant Pot is pressing a button and walking away. You don't have to come back to the pot the moment it's done cooking, so you won't have to worry about the bottom burning like you would if you got distracted while it's cooking on the stove top. I also love how the Instant Pot keeps food warm until I'm ready to serve it. But, it's definitely not "instant" so it's name can be a little misleading. I think of it more as a convenience option for people who need to multi-task and might get distracted, like myself. 😉

A Spanish Rice recipe would be good to learn, perhaps with cauliflower rice.

Great tutorial! I’m new to the insta pot.

I was planning on making this today! Thanks! Tuned in just in time! ❤️

Thank you!! They really need to update the package instructions, because there are better ways to cook it.
Turned out great, thank you
Great video. What was the quinoa stored in at the end. It doesn’t look like Tupperware. Thanx👍🏾
Is the cooking time the same for an 8-quart instant pot? Will it still be fluffy if I cook 3 cups of quinoa?

How to do eggs?
thanks, very helpful!
Glad it helped!

THIS WORKED
Yay! Glad to hear it. 😉
If I soak the quinoa overnight before cooking, would I still use the 1:1 ratio or would I use less water?
Yes, I'd still use the same ratio.
Lo hice tal cual las instrucciones y me quedo cruda 😒
Where is salt
so total cooking time is 8-10' + 1' + 15' = 24-26' ; why bother with the 'instant' pot then?

100% don't follow this. Followed this exactly and I have burnt quinoa I can't use.
LOL stick to Mickey D's
