The "dying bird sounds" referenced in the beginning was NOT a bird being harmed. That was noise the motor made when it was suddenly stopped by the branch. Sorry for the confusion.
I agree and this video was the best 6 minutes of your channel. I wonder why this doesn't have more views. The waluigi laugh was so funny and the demonic child laughter.
I just lost a wing mid-flight. The juxtaposition between the fuse becoming a lawn dart and the wing a leaf in autumn was pretty amazing. Too bad I was flying alone. The guys would have loved it!
LOL yep - same for me. The not taking himself so seriously and having fun while learning attitude is what drew me in so much at the time. We are flying toys, after all. 😉 The joke with this launch was from his own videos - he always would run to hand launch, stop running, and THEN throw the plane. 😂 Classic. -Zach
@@TailHeavyProductions Haha, he also ran like a... well.. you know. I remember souping up and WildHawk just like his. It was his experimental stuff like the X-36, KF airfoil testing, gyro testing, air brake mods and most of all the F-35 Vtol series that I couldn't get enough of. Classic.
It ended up being the wheel was over tightened to the axle and thus was causing them to act as brakes. You can land a tailwheel plane by flying the mains onto the runway rather than landing on the verge of a stall (a wheel landing). That plane was incredibly heavy, so it required a quick approach speed to ensure it didn’t give you a nasty bite if you got it too slow and uncoordinated.
It's my impression, but it seems I'm not the only one who likes to see and takes pleasure and satisfaction in watching these things breaking apart exploding colliding is a way of understanding how It's a plane crash
This is sad. All the laughter and yuck yuck tells me something good has gone out of the hobby. My brother and I grew up struggling to be part of it as 12-18 year-olds. We built our own radios and planes and carefully stretched each dollar. We were members in a great club of terrific model builders who were all about mutual learning and support. Real engineering and fabrication skills were required. When a plane went down, there was total silence. Two or three friends would quietly join the poor guy who had crashed to help recover the pieces. We knew that many hours and lots of care and thought had just gone down with the model. This video shows something very different.
you are right....it shows the hobby has gotten to where you can buy turnkey planes and actually have fun and laugh off a crash as a fun learning experience rather than a funeral march
We do! Check out our videos titled "Flying Where You Shouldn't" and "RV-8 Bush Conversion". It's our favorite type of flying for the fun challenge! 📦✈ -Zach
I fly at marymoor, at the same club, and it just goes to show how many times expirienced pilots can crash it happens a lot more than we like to admit, but you can still get up, and fix the plane (maybe not in the hardest crashes.) I really want to meet the guys behind the camera, you seem cool.
I can relate. New to rc flying and only place I have to fly is a small pond next to my house. It is ringed by tall pine trees and swamp jungle beyond that. In the pond are alligators, otters and big wading birds. In the air are aggressive hawks and falcons. All 5 of my UMX models have been in the pond via wing tip stalls turning final. Put floats on UMX Turbo timber and got that to take off OK, fly a few laps and tried a touch and go but battery quit and it spun into a concrete deal that drains if pond gets too high. Looking at my house to make sure she who must be obeyed not watching, and I waded over to the concrete thing and retrieved it. UMX Sport Cub s2 landed at top of pine tree and a thunderstorm rolled in. Somehow it got blown down in the only bare spot in the jungle swamp. One night of drying and all work OK. Flying UMX radian over the pond, I got bold and was doing loops and going over at the top of one, it spun crazily down into a bush. No damage. But battery flew out and that's why it spun like nothing I have ever seen. There are parks and big church fields but got kicked out before I got airborne. Oh, one more war story. My UMX timber was heading to my house and I discovered controls were reversed on my DX6e. That was most challenging getting it back to earth in one piece.
Majority of these crashes, are all due to Pilot inexperience. We have all been there, it's part of the learning curve. However I met many people with the playing field that are not teachable, you try to explain what they're doing incorrectly, sometimes they yes you did that, sometimes they just totally ignore you thinking that they know how to do it. So they learn by trial and error which is fine it's part of the learning curve.

Not ganna lie that kinda scared me thank god i came here before i reported yall
@@GangsterBiden Same, and to be honest I also questioned what type of bird in "killed" because Bird don't usually can't make that type to sound.
that sounded like the motor was on crack
Luckily I wasn't one of the idiots who thought that.
Bro sounded like rat screaming
Catastrophic overload. Just what I needed. Watch this, you won’t be disappointed. Nobody died, which seems like a miracle.
Seriously though guys, this is one of the best compilation videos I’ve ever seen. Great job
The RC community has been needing guys like you, thankyou

Seeing RC Planes Crash makes my day somehow
It is all that you need in life. Good friends planes and a camera man. Love it🥰
I guess
They're just so delicate and fast, it's all over so quickly.
I just lost a wing mid-flight. The juxtaposition between the fuse becoming a lawn dart and the wing a leaf in autumn was pretty amazing. Too bad I was flying alone. The guys would have loved it!
This should be the first video the newbie watches. Fun is number 1!
Great seeing people just enjoying rc planes and messing about for fun. It's what flying rc is about.
The little sound effects you add are amazing. Perfect video.
0:50 is hella smooth
Smoothest Ryanair landing
Flashback to Dave from RC Powers. That channel was part of what got me into RC.
Same! 😁 - Zach
Yall too? Lol
Great stuff.
Thank you!

Crazy rc pilots…We are! Lol. I wonder why? Batteries dead! Oh no! $&(@$& !!
Just laughter! Lol. Great captures. I think I have a few🛫🛫

@2:50. im dying. what a wonderful video and LoTs oF cOmEdY! lol, awesome job!
"What is that all about?" It's all about landing slowly on the verge of a stall.

the voice in my head:
"don't sink! don't sink! don't sink!"
This is why I have RC tanks. Where there is equipment failure or pilot error, they don’t fall out of the sky.
Absolutely love this video. Thumbs up
