Another good one . DARREN!! It's amazing how you can take a piece of ugly wood, and make, a, masterpiece out of it keep on going on DARREN. THANK YOU ONCE AGAIN, FOR SHARING.
Nice little bowl. Glad you didn't get hurt when that piece flew off! I had a similar situation a few weeks ago and my face shield saved the day. Stuart
As I'm new to working with a lathe ty for showing the dangers and the awesome outcome, also pointing out what to look for in the wood pile. have a great day
Thank you for emphasizing the face mask. Love to be able to see what is being turned not to mention seeing the end result. This turned out gorgeous. Have a very Merry Christmas Darren.
I just released a Slo-Mo video with a large piece of bark flying off and bouncing off the camera right in front of my face. Of course I was wearing my mask, but it still bounced off my knuckles. I was trying top save the bark, but it was just wishful thinking. Be safe.

@@darrenswoodworks8695 you Welcome
Gorgeous bowl! I was lucky enough to turn a chunk of Eucalyptus Burl a year ago. It was so pretty and then I sold it immediately, much to my regret!
Thank you Carol, I totally understand the attachment to our creations. I’ve been there myself.

Thank you Ruben. I’ve seen a few of Ricks play lists videos. I didn’t know I was on it. Thank you for letting me know. Have a great woodturning year.
Complimenti beautiful
Thank you Silvano
Great work! And great recovery from the flying cap piece. Sometimes you just don’t see what’s inside the wood. Looks beautiful.
Thank you Clyde, that’s the reason I turn those kinds of wood, just to see what’s inside.
I love Eucalyptus. I also made some things from Eucalyptus wood.
Thanks again Myrtus, great wood. Very heavy and dense.
Yes, indeed.
Truly beautiful.
Thank you Jack
Миска с приключениями!)))))
Thank you. It’s always an adventure when turning wood.
Did it hurt?
Thankfully no it didn’t hurt. It hit only the face shield. Thanks again Ronnie

Thank you Walt. You are right, just because we are wearing face shields
It can still hurt a lot.
People just do not know that wood turning can be dangerous. You can’t see inside of the wood.
You are so right, just never know what to expect. Thank you Ronnie.
