Hey thank you for this very loaded video! I'm preparing for a mini aussie I'm picking up in May. TH-cam helps me a lot with understanding tips and what can happen when. Lots of solid advice here 👌
@bill'scoolprojects I'm glad to find this video. I have had four well-trained, hiking, smooth collies in the past. I just had to put down my most recent smoothie four weeks ago. At my age (61) I found it nearly impossible to lift my last collie as he got older. I love herding dogs and am thinking of taking on an Aussie for my next dog. I'm wondering if their energy will be too much for me. I do hike four days a week so I think that would help, but I've had people tell me that they need four hours or more of exercise a day. That I wouldn't be able to do. Any thoughts to share about that? Thanks.
Depends on the dog. We wanted alpha high energy of the litter. We do 4-6 hours a day. Training. Walks. Catching ball etc. but there were layer back low energy pups in her litter. Work with the breeder We used Firestone aussies in berthed Colorado. Patty can help. But yes they are smaller than collie. Females are smaller than males. Good luck. They are amazing dogs.
Yep. She eats taste of the wild bison after/now she was a year old. When puppy was Fromm Gold puppy chow. Out west here we get it at murdocks farm and ranch store. Thanks

Can you share what food you feed Josie?

There is a better way to kennel train for sure.
