Great review! I have the M2 15 inch MBA for school and I've used Final Cut Pro on it for some light to moderate video editing and it works great! I upgraded from a 2019 15 inch MacBook Pro to the M3 Pro 16 inch MacBook Pro and that Mac is freaking fast!
so useful! thank you! i have a low budget, i just want to open softwares like davinci resolve, photoshop or indesign, what matters is that the video or the softwares don't bug, since i have a 8gb huawei 13 matebook for now but it's done ahahhah, i was thinking to buy the 2020 macbook pro maybe 16gb, but i have a question since i've been a windows user so far : would you prioritize the RAM or the processor? like M1, how does it work with macbooks? for example is it best to opt for a 8gb ram but m1 processor macbook, or a 16gb but intelcore i5 or i7? thank you lots !
Hey Alex, I did that. And results were very frustrating in the way that the older pro was slower at gpu and same at cpu. Sent it back and looking for a better option rn.
When you say “you say on the monitor cost going with this” (versus iMac) .. you still need a monitor and need to then go out and spend money on a monitor (so not sure how your saving 🤔)? Unless you just buy a cheaper monitor but then might be less quality ..
I’m too broke for this budget
lol same here cuzzy
Best for basic 4k editing for youtube?

Hi David! Great review 😊 How about a used MacBook pro 2015 15 inch core i7 for 300$ ?
Hey not bad. Not sure how that compares the the m1 but that’s a great price.
