Isn’t the difference between f1.4 and f2.8 one stop not two stop? A stop being a measurement of exposure, not 1 click on the wheel. ISO 1000 to ISO 2000 equal 1 stop. 🤷🏻‍♂️

What your opinion on Sigma 14mm f1.4?

Who vlogs anymore' - surely the main use for these cameras today are content creation for social media. That means vertical video. I find most TH-cam reviews on these cameras are completely out of date with what's going on. I don't care myself, but I feel sorry for people getting misled when purchasing what can be very expensive equipment. I think TH-cam content is the biggest culprit for this, the only time I see people walking and talking is camera reviews, who are describing a style of video that has long disappeared. If your a travel vlogger you'll just use a Pocket 3 or a action camera, your not going to use this camera.

For apsc sony 70-350 makes more sense, due to size

when the m1 came out every channel was in awe at how amazing video editing is on that thing. unless you wanna do 8k prores, it still edits as well as it did on day one.

Good video. Another good thing about the Air is it doesn't have a fan so it is silent. That was really important to me when I bought mine.

I'm also using an m1 air for photo editing and other daily administrative tasks and never had any problems at all. I don't see any reason to jump into newer macbook soon!

I was so much confused about the m1 because in my budget there are good windows laptops available but i feel m1 is the best machine and right now is available in best pricing range . i will be using vs code n sometimes editing on it . hope it works out well. Thanks for clearing my confusion.

Team Air!!!!! I came here after watching a video comparing Air and Pros. Still not convinced to go Pro. Nothing beats Air for me and this video cements my appreciation for Air

In the past few months I purchased two LG 5K monitors, used of course, for $500 CAD each. They are both height adjustable out of the box. Other than suffering from some black crush when too far off-angle, they are still excellent displays when used for purpose. Powering them with a 2019 MBP.

Got both M1 air and M3 air I still like the feel of the M1 better.

Indeed the M1 MacBook Air is a phenomenal machine in 2024. I use it for music production, video production, photo editing and occasional gameplay. Excellent machine.

Remember all the praises that M1 garnered from video editors and how radically faster it was than anything that preceded it ?😮😮 Well, in video editing world not much has changed since, so basic M1 powered laptop is still that amazing today. I have basic M1 MBP and everything I throw at it deals with ease so no need to upgrade. I am one of those rare specimens who misses the old task bar above the keyboard 😂

Great video. I have ZV E10 and I am looking to get this lens, I was looking at Sigma 16, or Sony 11, or Viltrox 13, but from your video, it might look like this could be the better option. I am also looking at getting A6700, just a bit concerned about overheating at 4k60. I would be using the camera for filming shorter clips, like event videography, Camera on and off, but using it half a day or so, what do you think? Did you have any issues?

Honestly What constitutes as "Heavy" is different for different people. But yes Objectively FF Setups are "Heavier" in comparison to APSC setups. But there's no equivalent to all FF lenses on APSC. Which completely negates the weight saving you were trying to get from APSC

every lens has its own purpose. I wouldnt buy an F4 lens but it is an aperture that i use a lot on my primes when needed.

Hi, one of the issues with this monitor is the weak USB C ports on the back. What you can do is tie the USB C wire around the stand, leaving enough slack for the cable. These ports are very delicate. This way, there are no external stresses being applied to the USB C port, as the slack in the wire compensates for it. Hopefully this should extend the life of the monitor

I think this would be a perfect lens for me. I do overland travel in Africa in my own vehicle so I am not too concerned with the size/weight issue. It might be perfect for setting up on a tripod in a blind or resting on the truck window frame for game viewing.

Your video is 2 years old and there is no new Imac so the question is regarding user that have an IMAC 27 from 2017, while the screen display is the same the the studio display. ..Thanks

Regarding on/off it's possible to set 'Auto power off' after say 1 or 2 or 5 mins. Haven't got the camera in front of me so forgive if the timings are inaccurate : )

I use my pop up flash all the time on my A6000. Why don't they bring that back? It seems handicapped to me.

Good vid - I agree with your choices, but you should look i to the viltrox 16mm 1.8 next time - its quality is compared to the sony 20 1.8 g, wider and cheaper!

i feel like the best all-rounder is the lumix s5iix

Just get the viltrox 27mm f1.2 and the viltrox 75mm f1.2 and you will have the full frame quality! (As well in low light)

I have used an A7RIII and A7III as a full time professional for years. "Downgraded" my A7III recently for an a6700. I never used my A7III except for the rare occasion I needed two cameras at the same time, it doesn't have much to offer over the A7RIII, so I usually just use that. But i've found that the a6700 has some huge advantages, even over my A7RIII. The new generation of autofocus tech in this camera is a huge upgrade. I feel like I get a lot more utility out of my prime lenses, especially my Sony 24mm 1.4 and 90mm macro. Only complaint is one card slot.

I have the zve1 and it does produce an amazing image i think im going to get the pocket 3 as well to add it to my arsenal. Sometimes I don’t feel like carrying a full frame camera no matter how compact it is.
