I’m a 66 year old straight woman, I have always been curious about all kinds of lifestyles and experiences. I’m an artist and a vegan. I follow you because you are amazing. I love all the videos. Your charisma makes your videos work. Please don’t be so hard on yourself, we love you
I've missed your videos! And I am so happy to see a shift in your channel from Transition content to more lifestyle oriented content. I'm a couple years younger than you but we've had a lot of the same transition and life milestones (surgery, boyfriends etc.) and I am so ready to appreciate you just being you! I think its much more inspiring and enjoyable!
Toronto looks so beautiful and you look so happy! Boundaries are important and it’s good you are setting those healthy boundaries. I’m am extremely thankful for everything you have posted. All of your content, from across the various platforms, has played a part in helping me break through several barriers, accepting myself, allowing myself to move forward. Thank you and best wishes!
Thank you for sharing your thoughts, journey, struggles, growth...I find your videos helpful with my support groups for identity struggling youth. Keep it going strong!
Your transition videos were very informative and have helped me feel less stressed about my surgery in a few months.. so Thank you for over sharing xxx. I will still watch your videos just like i watch Samantha Lux (though she can be a bit much some times lol). The real journey now begins. All the loves xxx
".... that's all that I want right now" referring to getting fresh cut flowers. I love that - just something as simple as flowers to bring joy. They were gorgeous. What a nice time out you had with your sister! You have such a calm, endearing spirit. Have watched a lot of your videos and finally subscribed today.
Just like some others, I am a straight woman that stumbled upon 1 of your videos before your surgery & kept coming back to watch more, because I find you very interesting & fun to watch & learn! You are so pretty & have a soothing voice to listen to. I love your stories & info. ❤
I have missed your postings, and had become concerned about your health. On the lighter side, I felt you may have return to work, things have eased here in Washington state. You are such a lovely woman and such a lovely human being. I suppose you could call me granny Comfort, as I have been living as a transgendered woman for 40 years now. And turned 69 years old last December. Yes, I'm a Capricorn.
The videos about your transition journey have been constantly invaluable to me as I have navigated my own transition. They have helped me to understand my own thoughts and feelings as well as with making the necessary decisions along the way. I am very different from you but that didn't matter because your intelligent and articulate explanations about yourself helped me to reflect upon myself.
Happy to see you back! I really enjoyed this style of video. It's always fun to see what cities you've never been to look like. I truly only know Toronto from Orphan Black :D
Glad to hear you are recovering well! And you look great! Being a fellow Torontonian, I always get a kick out of seeing places I recognize! Stay safe and healthy!
Maya, I don’t think you are exploiting your transition. You are helping educate us and for a older trans-woman, like myself, who is not transitioning, I like to see someone living their best life. Thank you for giving me hope.
As a late transitioner (started 36 and completed just before turning 40) I wish you get the chance to start it some day. It changed a lot, made me learn a lot about me and everything else and I have improved my friend network significantly which wouldn’t have happened without being true to myself.
Thank you Maya! It is good to see you again! The area where you live looks like a great place to be! I am not a city girl myself but this was a fun video to watch! Take care and Be safe!!
You are so gorgeous Maya. Don’t be too hard to yourself and do whatever you want for the video contents. We just wanna see you happy. Always support you and bless you.
Maya, thank you so much for helping me to understand the mtf transition thru your videos. Just wanted to leave a short comment wishing you all the best. You Look Amazing!
I totally understand the gist of this video. There comes a point where it is no longer about who we were. We just want to look to the future and live our truth.
I did thoroughly enjoy this video! It reminded me of the time I spent in beautiful Toronto, over twenty years ago now. I have very much appreciated your transition videos, especially the one you did on preparing for surgery. Super helpful! But I get totally about moving on to living life. I'll watch anything & everything you produce!
We love you, Maya! Glad you are doing well. Been watching your videos from the beginning and it helped me come out and transition starting in 2017. My wife and I always watch your videos together.
I do regularly check in on you, Mathilda and Victoria exactly because I am interested in you all as people, enjoying your cooking, relationship, and family stories as much as any video. It always, sincerely, makes me happy just to see that you are all happy and confident. Thank you for sharing that with which you are comfortable.
Thanks for tour of Toronto ….. very nice …. and a wave to your sis …. Glad to see that she supports you and still hang out together ….. that is awesome ……
Girl your content has always been helpful throughout my transition especially with helping me starting my transition. I've missed seeing your videos and I'm sure many have.
Thank you for a lovely video! I've never been to Toronto, and watching it felt a bit like travelling (which is a rare feeling these days). Such a beautiful city and gorgeous weather. Love this hanging out, walking around style of vlog.. the more unscripted the better!
I started watching your channel because I was so incredibly curious about re-assignment surgery and to gain a better perspective of what trans women go through. I continue to watch because I just enjoy you, Maya, as a person and the content you put out. I'm sure for a lot of us you just being you is good content. I'm vegan, so I enjoy your cooking videos for sure. Also, I think it's super funny when your bf is in the video sometimes hahaha. So, this is great to hear, about the new direction of your channel. Anyway, much love, peace, and prosperity!!! Stoked about the acting stuff too! 🙌😎🤙
Maya, new sub here that came in today after finding your first post op video. As a trans woman that has just started transitioning at 31 in Oct 2020 and is considering GRS/GCS in the future, the things you have shared over the last few months have been enlightening, super helpful and truly mean a lot. I can imagine sharing such an intimate part of yourself can be very taxing on your mental health (as you said at the beginning of this video), but I just wanted you to know that you have helped me immensely. So sincerely, from one Torontonian sick of lockdown to another...Thank you! Excited to keep watching and see more of your amazing bubbly personality.
I wanted to follow your journey to learn more, understand and support others in their transition or where they are in their journey. Education is important!
My nephew is gay and I was asking him if he was born this way or if was an acquired taste. He said he born gay lol. I told him that was BS and that was that for a long time. He told me to watch your story here which I have. I must say after watching several of your stories that go back years especially the one which describes in pictures your entire life story that I've changed my stubborn 60 something mind. I see that perhaps while you were developing in your mother womb that thing possible because haywire and wires crossed. I admit it. Perhaps it's just the way things are for some people. Now with all that said, I do not judge, or at least I try not to and I try hard. Your story has helped me a very straight guy out and for that I'm grateful. Thanks
Interesting video. My state never locked down. Really never seen any increase from it either. I use to make videos on opinions or ideas and even tried doing conspiracy stuff. Yet I should have just done what I do every day anyway. I spend my time now working on 1 or 2 videos a week on 3D modeling projects. I make a list of what projects I want to do that week and then start making the 3D project. Then I time-laps the video with music in the background. I now stick with what I know best. You have a lot of options to work with. Good video.
It was really nice to see you again. I joined your journey in the middle of your gender reassignment surgery, but really love the very honest and vulnerable yet strong person that you are. You have a great way of storytelling that makes all the topics you discuss interesting, and it is icing on the cake for me that you are vegan. Looking forward to whatever content you decide to share, and support you in your effort to not "overshare."
Hi Maya good to see you. I finally got my date going to Montreal on June 15th. So excited thanks for sharing this critical step with us. I am happy that you shared your post op details these have been invaluable to help me prepare for my SRS/GRS/Vaginoplasty.
Honey, I have started watching your videos today about your surgery because I have never heard ANYONE talk about it or educate all of us in your eloquent details. I have not felt over exposed in these videos. I have subscribed because I wanted to see more of what you post, and I got worried these videos were all you posted because I haven’t clicked on your channel or whatever it’s called yet
Yup - you take care hone and look out for the crazies out there. Glad to hear you reappraising that sharing issue because our perspectives change. You have plenty to enrich our lives other than your 'bits' xx
Healthy move, M. Would love to see more of Toronto with you as tour guide. Especially restaurants/food scene. You don't need to expose your private life. You're good people, funny, and interesting, living in a great world city. That's plenty enough to keep folks watching. Cheers!
Just found your channel and I hope you come back around love your videos. I think you can potentially educate so many people through your own experiences. That is awesome ❤️ Edit: Of course you do not have to share anything personal! I just think you have an amazing way of telling stories and enjoy watching those as well. Either way I think you bring a lot to the TH-cam community! You don’t have to do anything you don’t want to. 👍🏼 I didn’t want to sound like you are just here to exploit yourself. That is not true!
Good to see you again! I really understand going silent after completing the transition. I hit the post transition blues since getting rid of gender dysphoria didn’t yet fix my depression and I had to figure out what else was making me unhappy. Eventually I found it out and I’m slowly starting to heal and just started a new job after five years. Oh I just wish we could have the Impossible Burger in Finland! I’ve been a vegetarian-vegan for 20 years. In 2001 the options were really pathetic. We have the Beyond Meat (which I’m allergic to) and the Moving Mountains (which is my favourite), Linda McCartney (the 2nd favourite) and some local brands which aren’t as good. Even our kids approved the Moving Mountains.
Hi Maya. Glad all is well physically for you. Like others I missed your videos. The feelings you described are normal when anyone shares personal information. You have the right to disclose or not disclose without having to explain. Your videos allow those of us who follow them to understand Transgender issues for our benefit or to help others. Please don’t feel that you are obliged to do or say anything you don’t want to. You are truly beautiful in every way. You have a beauty of the spirit that only adds to your physical beauty. Take care and remember you have many people who watch your videos who care about you. Good luck with your acting career. I am sure you will go far.
Thank you for all the kind and thoughtful words! No matter the content, I think I will always be happy to exist online. Whether in movies, livestreaming, or cooking videos. Who knows what the next chapter will bring!? Thanks for all the support 🙏🏼🤍
Love u queen!!💖💖 OMG I COMMENTED EVEN BEFORE THE VIDEO LOADED BUT PLEASE DONT WORRY AB IF THE CONTENT IS BAD OR NOT I COULD LITERALLY WATCH YOU DO AN ASMR AND ID BE SATISFIED
Maya, I'm so damn happy to see you back!!! You know, when I found your channel back in the insane 2020 I was so scared and pessimist about myself and watch your videos make me realize that I'm not alone. I'm from Brazil and the things are pretty tough here with Corona and our dumbass president, last year I started my transition and until now nothing happen, which is sucks and I have been feeling so... Idk, frustraged? See you smile and live your live, the true life (besides beeing trans) give me hope. Thanks for be truthful, inspiring, amazing... I wish you all the pretty things in this life and I can't wait to see what will you bring to us now. Oh sorry for the long message sun and moon in gemini UHASHUSH :)
I would be very happy to see your patio makeover videos, even apartment tips and tricks with making it feel more like a "home"... I have a white wall in front of my kitchen sink, so I found some cheaper wallpaper that looks like "outside" and hung up a spring rod with a valance on it, just to make it look like a window, things like that are fun to see with creativity! I'm glad you're doing well, I can completely understand about not only taking a break from social media, but we all don't have much going on right now for sure. HUGE HUGS to you and I'm glad you're still doing well Maya! 👍💕🥰🤗👏 EDIT: Toronto almost looks like Duluth Minnesota where I go visit when I need some time away from my little city! 😃✨🤩😎 Bugs and bike riding are a risk for sure, especially in spring/summer for sure! Glad you got it out of your eye! 😱
Good video Maya its Ashleigh the burgers look yummy. Good to see your city Toronto. I'm an Aussie so my nearest city is Melbourne Victoria it is very different to Toronto. Great to see you again. Ashleigh 💖💕
FINALLY! MAYA! HAS COME BACK! TO TH-cam! **raises the People's Eyebrow** I'm now 9 going on 10 months into hormone therapy. I also had my name legally changed last month.
There's so few of us, and so many of them. If ppl like don't say something, the situation will go horribly wrong, and our lives will be impacted, even worse.
@@johnblack6020 I appreciate the sentiment behind your comment my friend....like, ppl like me, we are a part of the LGBT spectrum, and a lot of females like me are a part the "straight spectrum." Really, it's just one big spectrum of human sexuality. The only reason why it exists, "this community, vs that community", is because of a lack of acceptance.....True acceptance, would just be that, without differentiation... Maybe someday, having a trans person as a partner, won't have any shame, or difference, associated to it.
I GET IT Maya. I live only 40 miles from you, and this lockdown or “stay at home” order has been absolutely brutal. I hope that viewers are being kind. It’s really strange how people feel that when behind a keyboard, they can say what they want, in ANY way that they wan, using the language that they want. I’ve definitely seen some brutal words written on Utube channel. It’s disgusting. Glad to see you well and surviving this pandemic. Hopefully things will be back to normal soon. 🙋♀️👍💞💞🇨🇦
Hey Maya thank you for being transparent about your transition thus far. It has been inspiring and educational but that being said I think it's awesome that you just want to live you truth. I love your glasses! I know this is a silly idea but maybe you could do a video on sunglasses shapes for different faces. Lol I ALSO WON MY BOYS BADMINTON TORNIMENT IN SCHOOL!
I’m a 66 year old straight woman, I have always been curious about all kinds of lifestyles and experiences. I’m an artist and a vegan. I follow you because you are amazing. I love all the videos. Your charisma makes your videos work. Please don’t be so hard on yourself, we love you
Thank you Karen, this was really thoughtful to read. I’m definitely reinspired to keep posting :)

I have missed your postings, and had become concerned about your health. On the lighter side, I felt you may have return to work, things have eased here in Washington state. Oh sorry for the long message sun and moon in gemini UHASHUSH :)
You are awesome do what keeps you happy! Love you and all your videos
EDIT: Toronto almost looks like Duluth Minnesota where I go visit when I need some time away from my little city!

TO TH-cam! **raises the People's Eyebrow**
I'm now 9 going on 10 months into hormone therapy. I also had my name legally changed last month.
*don't start any other channels, do it here.....do it all here
Looking glamorous as always x
You are so honest. I love your videos
There's so few of us, and so many of them. If ppl like don't say something, the situation will go horribly wrong, and our lives will be impacted, even worse.
You have friends in the straight community ✌️
@@johnblack6020 How do know I'm not straight?
@@aurora3655 I guess I don’t. It doesn’t matter though either way. Peace✌️
Maybe someday, having a trans person as a partner, won't have any shame, or difference, associated to it.
you come first.
do whatever's right for you.
Love your vids!
it's nice, to see you back!
Hi love happy your back
Thanks for sharing Maya great to see you, Toronto looks really nice, your sister has grown up. 😊✌️
Things will get better, and summer will be a testament to that! 💓🙏🏼
you helped me learn that even though i was trans and most people don’t support me i was still who i was. and i thank you for that.
Hi Maya! I love seeing the relationship you have cultivated with yourself. Your own best friend! Thank you for showing that to us. 💜
Badminton twinz! 😂
