You needed to take out four screws from the circular plastic panel just behind the wheel, and then three screws behind that cover. You have to turn the wheel to access the screws. Then you turn it upside down and take out 7 deep screws - two each side, and three at the bottom, then the top cover comes off, and you do everything else you need to do. Thanks to Barry at SIM Racing Garage. His video showed this. Also, the T150 is made by Thrustmaster, which is owned by Guillemot Corporation, not Sony.
Hey, I bought this wheel from the US(110v) and plugged it in the indian socket(220v). It was connected for maybe around 5-10 secs. What do I do to bring it back to life?
I found one of these at a thrift store for $10. The PSU was bad and only outputting 25W so I'm looking to replace it. I love the ingenuity you put into this so I might follow suit by using an old laptop charger, but wouldn't I not need to buy another capacitor since the charger itself has one in it?
@@RoeeBloch I found an old charger, took it apart and it had a larger capacitor than I expected. I was impatient to try and get it to work so I decided to splice the wires anyway, and it powered up perfectly! I was certain that the wheel would get more power than it needed but after testing the volts it was receiving, it came out perfect so I think the laptop charger may have a limiter or something keeping it from delivering too much power. I'm fairly new to understanding electrical components beyond wires, so this is a feat for me!
sony playstation for racing HAAH its not even sony. its made for playstation or PC. so call it a thrustmaster T150 (edit: Nope im done youre doing everything wrong and saying stuff wrong.. My god how can you be like that D: WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY)

Hello :)
would you happen to know the type and specification of the diodes on the rectifier bridge of the power supply?

how much watt is the steeringwheel?
Hi, my wheel is 220 v and its been shutting down after like 15 - 30 minutes regardless of being used
what is the exact stats of the computer charger, and what is the current
20V AC Adapter, you can pretty much use any wattage, as long as the Voltage is 20V.
I recommend same as this 65W or 45W is fine too.
@@chingun7799 the TH-camr that made this video said DC? Not AC?

you are right probably the capacitor inside is good enough, but beed to check if the system work properly

Hello, that is the voltage DC 20v 45-65W Yes

Thanks a lot
