Amazing video! Happy to see you enjoying your new T150. I made a serious mistake as I bought my TMX for full price with the default pedals (sad I know), but I still love the wheel, it's really fun.
Ive bought my T150 for 40£ with faulty gas pedal, than bought T60 for 20£ for spares, swapped the spring and now Ive got all perfect red T150 and a lot of spares for it, good luck hunting 😉
i had the TMX wheel so the xbox brother to the T150 , had lots of fun for a few years . In this day and age it makes more sense to look at entry level DD wheels , i have recently moved to a MOZA R5 bundle and it is a WHOLE new race 😅
Way to go 2nd hand market ftw. I myself just started this route and have seen prices from ebay of t300 go for 100 pounds lol and even a tspc wheel base go for 90 pounds! I myself bought a load cell old csr elite pedal for 60!
I've had this wheel for literally 4 years now, and it still works fine. ( except that the buttons connection sometimes bug when you turn it hard, or drift; this could be because of me dissasembling it). It is awesome for a beginner, and you can even learn drifting with it. I recommend doing a bearing mod on it, you can find videos online how. The only downside is that it is now strong enough for intermediate drifting, and you cannot upgrade the wheelbase to be stronger(it is not quick relase, like the t300) Sadly, it is discontinued now( maybe that is the reason you could buy it that cheap) and the successor of it, the t128 is worse. I would honestly love to see logitech making a successor to the g29, or like an upgraded one with a belt driven system. If you are willing to spend 400 bucks in the future, then i can reccomend the moza r3 steering wheels, definetly the best budget dds out there. Hope you will enjoy it as much as i do!
Does TM still produce the T150 Pro? I didn't find many on price comparison pages and the normal T150/TMX is much cheaper. For 300 or even more, it isn't far below a T150 even with LC pedals or a T300.
I live across the pond and I literally cannot get that combo under $170... How did you get cheap prices? In theory the US should have a bigger market then the UK

@@DriveOnRacing I see, good news there is an adapter that could fit cammus into ps5, however I recently upgraded from my T248 to Logitech G Pro, and the difference is massive when you go to direct drive systems. You can feel force feedback equally all the time, while with those you feel it the most at the central spot, further you steer it, the less force feedback you can feel.
@@DriveOnRacing when you include subscription and software prices, pc can be much cheaper longterm. Sadly, time when consoles were actually cheaper is long long behind us, with introductuon of subscription, they made consoles totaly noth worth it.
@@markoradakovic7713 That’s probably true (my ps plus and ea play subscriptions cost like £150 per year which is extortionate) but I think that most people usually have a home console that they can easily just pair a wheel with 👍🏼 A pretty small minority of people have a dedicated gaming PC which means buying one specifically for sim racing can be a really big investment - but PC is where it’s at tbh, literally all the best games/mods are there 👌🏼
What's your opinion on a Logitech G29 in comparison with T150? I've seen many people complaining about the quality of G29 but more people about the quality of the T150. P.S Nice content you have
The feedback of the T150 is generally better but the build quality of the G29 is much higher quality But for a similar racing experience, the T150 is also like half the price if you buy used 👍🏼

@@DriveOnRacing Yeah, the upgrade path for thrustmaster is very expensive, can go way beyond 500$, with a g29 i'm satisified as it is, im planning on getting the shifter too soon for the complete package as i don't need anything more because i'm more of a simulation type player
@albertcristian4540 On the other hand, you could get the TM load cell pedals for the TM wheel.
