The BEST Racing Wheel for Under £100

- So I decided to see how good of a wheel I could purchase for the budget price of £100 - it turns out, quite a good one.
I got a perfect condition Thrustmaster T-150 and a set of T3PA Pedals to go with it
The wheel was great fun to use and I will hope to upgrade the set-up in the future
(ps. As you can see from the footage shown, i'm not very good at Assetto Corsa)

Nice quality, expected you to be much bigger for the type of video! love from poland
Thanks so much 🙏
Amazing video! Happy to see you enjoying your new T150. I made a serious mistake as I bought my TMX for full price with the default pedals (sad I know), but I still love the wheel, it's really fun.
Thanks 🙏 - I feel like a bunch of these wheels are pretty expensive new but the used prices just crash
All the better if your buying used 😁
how dont you have more subs your quality is incredibly good
Cheers mate 🙏
i had the TMX wheel so the xbox brother to the T150 , had lots of fun for a few years . In this day and age it makes more sense to look at entry level DD wheels , i have recently moved to a MOZA R5 bundle and it is a WHOLE new race 😅
Ive bought my T150 for 40£ with faulty gas pedal, than bought T60 for 20£ for spares, swapped the spring and now Ive got all perfect red T150 and a lot of spares for it, good luck hunting 😉
Thanks cool - I swear people with any mechanical knowledge can fix anything 😂
Yeah, its quite useful when u broke all your life 😂😂😂
Why u have only 59 subs? damm, you got a new sub
Cheers 👍🏼
Way to go 2nd hand market ftw. I myself just started this route and have seen prices from ebay of t300 go for 100 pounds lol and even a tspc wheel base go for 90 pounds! I myself bought a load cell old csr elite pedal for 60!
Yeah I know it’s supprising how low some of the prices are 😁
Thanks for the advice im looking into buiyng a racing sim wheel
No problem 😁
I have a g29, its a nice wheel, was considering this thrustmaster tho.
You're video quality are INSANE keep it uo you are working really hard i'm sure it's gonne work out one day💪🏼🔥
Thanks mate 🙏 appreciate the support
wait what? 60 pounds for a t150 pro? are you kidding me? its 300 dollars or even more
Yeah I know - the used market on these wheels have outrageously low prices 😮💨
Does TM still produce the T150 Pro? I didn't find many on price comparison pages and the normal T150/TMX is much cheaper.
For 300 or even more, it isn't far below a T150 even with LC pedals or a T300.
@@jochenkraus7016 I’m pretty sure the T150 is discontinued so new ones can be quite expensive
What's your opinion on a Logitech G29 in comparison with T150? I've seen many people complaining about the quality of G29 but more people about the quality of the T150. P.S Nice content you have
The feedback of the T150 is generally better but the build quality of the G29 is much higher quality
But for a similar racing experience, the T150 is also like half the price if you buy used 👍🏼
@@ClipzzoRacing I've just ordered myself a g29, wasn't sure if I should go with a T150 or G29, but the G29 has already better pedals and overall better quality like you said, just for 50 pounds more (New)
@@albertcristian4540 yeah - to be honest, you can’t go wrong either way - with the G29, you can get the whole package for a good price - but thrustmaster does provide a better upgrade path (although it’s WAYY more expensive)
@@ClipzzoRacing Yeah, the upgrade path for thrustmaster is very expensive, can go way beyond 500$, with a g29 i'm satisified as it is, im planning on getting the shifter too soon for the complete package as i don't need anything more because i'm more of a simulation type player
@albertcristian4540 On the other hand, you could get the TM load cell pedals for the TM wheel.
When I compared the wheels in a store, I'd say Logitech feels better than the regular TM wheels but not the optional ones that exist for T300 and above.
I bought a refurbished T300 with Alcantara wheel and I'm glad I got that.
Hey I was going to buy a pretty a Logitech 920 but this video made me doubt if I should do you have any advice?
I think the g29 is a decent all rounder with a high quality rim + you can get the shifter for cheap
@@ClipzzoRacing Thank you!
Bad choice mate, if you added a little bit extra you could get brand new cammus C5, which is a direct drive, right now it is for about £175
Yeah PC has a bunch of great options - I’m currently on PS5 though so I’m more limited
In the future I definitely want to get a PC though but they are expensive 💵
@@ClipzzoRacing I see, good news there is an adapter that could fit cammus into ps5, however I recently upgraded from my T248 to Logitech G Pro, and the difference is massive when you go to direct drive systems. You can feel force feedback equally all the time, while with those you feel it the most at the central spot, further you steer it, the less force feedback you can feel.
@@ClipzzoRacing when you include subscription and software prices, pc can be much cheaper longterm. Sadly, time when consoles were actually cheaper is long long behind us, with introductuon of subscription, they made consoles totaly noth worth it.
@@markoradakovic7713 That’s probably true (my ps plus and ea play subscriptions cost like £150 per year which is extortionate) but I think that most people usually have a home console that they can easily just pair a wheel with 👍🏼
A pretty small minority of people have a dedicated gaming PC which means buying one specifically for sim racing can be a really big investment - but PC is where it’s at tbh, literally all the best games/mods are there 👌🏼
what do you mean by used market? ebay ,facebook marketplace or amazon used like new items???
So places like E-Bay, FB Marketplace or Vinted usually have the best used prices
Amazon Used will still probably be quite expensive in comparison
@@ClipzzoRacing
Thanks!
You could also look for refurbished or returned devices.
is there a gear shifter available for this wheel?
Yeah - thrustmaster currently has 2 available - A cheaper entry level one and a more expensive and high quality one 👍🏼
I have the cheaper TM shifter. It has USB so it should work with other wheels.
Fanatec csl dd vid next
Deffo in the future if I ever get a PC - but for now I will have to make do with what’s on PlayStation
@@ClipzzoRacing i think theres a rebranded csl dd called the gtdd for ps4 and ps5
@@Lemaxance fanatec has some for PlayStation but they are all like £500+ 💀
@@ClipzzoRacing gotta sell your kidney to get a dd talking from experience
@@Lemaxance I know bro - everything is so expensive
is t150 better than g29?
I’d say the build quality isn’t as good but the force feedback is pretty similar - plus it’s like a third of the price 😁
@@ClipzzoRacing in my country g29 is for 240$ now and t150 is for 200$ which one should i take
@@maksvanderstam1440 me personally I’d get a used one as the price difference is way bigger
But if your buying new - then I’d just go for the G29 👍🏼
Yeah mate I got a steering wheel (WITH PEDALS INCLUDED) for only 45 bucks
That’s great mate 😁
What did you get?
@@ClipzzoRacing IT's a thrustmaster ferrari steering wheel good video you made btw
Nice 👌🏼 and thanks 🙏
