- When the machine is on. Press both bottoms simultaneous to change signalstrengt.
- Its wirefree. We dont now for sure but suspect that you need headphones from quest to pair it with the pro. I have tried my own private headphones and that didn't work.

can you compare it with nokta pulsedive (8" coil) if you using it and with nokta simplex, I think that you using it underwater. I am primary interested for underwater detecting and which is better in you oppinion but it is plus if it can be used outside water
Hey, we dont have nokta pulsedive (witch is and excelent detector by the way). I prefer to use simplex over scuba tector because I get a lot more information out of the detector while searching. Simplex works very well on land as well. At the price it comes with, it is a perfect detector for me. Cheap, robust, easy to use, works well underwater and even better over. There are facebook groups with answers to everything you are wondering about. You get 3 coils too. I have never regretted buying this detector.

A little bit odd that they decide to keep the volume so low🤔 Other then that its a very nice device. The vibratins is a bit stronger then last one witch is allways good searthing underwater👍🏻
Where can I purchase a extension rod/handle for my Quest scuba tector pro?

The alarm on the newer pro does not sound very loud compared to the older version?
disappointed with the sound of the scuba tector pro. The sound is too low. Should have been much higher. other than that, the detector is absolutely top notch

Sorry late reply. I have tried them both and due to the low sound on stp I will probably go for pulse dive
I know it's been awhile but hopefully you will be able to help. I am losing my mind trying to find a metal detecting rod that will work for it like you have but everything I am seeing the end is made for a standard metal detector that can slide in-between the coil to screw it in which I'm assuming wouldn't work for the Scuba Tector Pro since it looks like it needs a more perfect round like a broom handle or something. Any details you can give us on the one you have so we can find one that will work will be great!
The one we use in the film here is out of production a long time ago. But I try and find something similar online. Not easy. The only solution I can think of is to contact quest directly for tips. Or buy a version with a standard end and saw off the "tip". There are some cheap ones on ebay you could buy and try and customize.

I am tempted to get one of these. I have the pulsedive which I use with the Nemo.
Yeah, It works good. But we miss better volume out. Its very low. Cant understand why quest choice the volume to be that low. We have had our nemos for 1 year. Its a very cool device. But didn't use it enough so we just sold our nemos. Where did you get yours from? Usa?
@@Alex_Anders Yes I had to have one shipped over. I could not find a supplier near me. I cannot hear the pulse dive with my 8mm wet suit on so a stronger vibrate would be more useful in those circumstances. I will think about it
@@NathanielOutdoorAdventures the only nemo supplier in europe is from a guy in Norway. At least that is what he said to me. We got ours in our local shop. Scuba tector pro has very good vibration. Better than the old scuba tector.

Hello i used it for 2 days and it got crazy saying raise coil when i turn it on . I have tried all buttons to reset and i have contacted the company they said check for water leak inside . The battery cap was extremely sealed and tight , after i remove it there is no water mark inside , but when i remove inside the machine i found little water i clean it and now back to work .
The question how did water got inside the machine if not from the battery cap .

It did not sound good. When you pay so much money for a machine that does not stand what it is meant for, you will be very disappointed🙄 The way you explain it, it sounds like something Quest should fix up in. Do not give up😊 Feel free to keep us updated. Gets very curious about what causes this🤔
@@Alex_Anders yea i am really disappointed, i have traveled today like 3 hours to have fun and detect , unfortunately after few minutes the machine stops working and give me that raise coil issue again .
I have spoke to the seller if i can exchage it for pulsedive which i had a good experience with it .
I will update you but definitely I won’t recommend any body to buy that device , it’s obviously water leak from other sides not from the battery cap .

@@hafidlajziri4621 We do not have a whatsapp number. We have not experienced anything like this with our scuba tector pro. It is water resistant and has been used several times under water without any problems. Does not sound good the problems you experience. I just wanted to return the detector. It does not work properly. Give me the money back. Possibly bought another model.
@@Alex_Anders yeah the supplier gonna bring me tomorrow a new pulsedive which i had use for a year without issues . I liked the design of the scuba tector pro but maybe i was unlucky with that device i wont waste more time with it .

Hello. Maybe you can contact quest directly? We have bought ours in Norway. Here it costs $ 311. Sorry. But we do not know any other way you can get it.
My Quest Scuba Tector make some noises if shaked, like some small loose object inside. It's brand new, so this is some fault or normal?
It did not sound normal. Also got the feeling that part of some plastic fitting or similar has broken and is loose inside the detector. If it is brand new and you have treated it well I would contact the dealer and ask them to fix it or send a new one.
@@Alex_AndersIf you got the same issue, can be common or some mechanism inside, or some kind of valve that blocks the water?
@@WaltDeMar What I meant was that what you are telling gave me the impression that something is wrong with your detector. We have not experienced similar sounds in any of ours. We have 1 scuba tector pro and 2 scuba tector. It is probably best to contact the quest or the store you shopped at and check what should be done. It is impossible to know without opening it and looking at what is wrong. Something they can help you with. Hope it works out for you
@@Alex_AndersI'm Going for holiday tomorrow and want to take with me, detector works fine, only this noise is annoying... I can have a look inside , there is only one bolt, but not sure if is easy to open and remove? Advice please
@@WaltDeMar would not recommend opening it until the dealer has his say and looked at it. If it works optimally, just use it. Do not leave it at home. Contact your dealer after the holiday😎

Scuba tector pro manages to pick up relatively small things in the field but you have to work your way forward calmly. If you go too fast ahead, there are opportunities for you to leave things behind.

Thanks😁 Man, you live in heaven. You should get your hands on one these and start searthing everywhere. Maybe try out an magnet or a detector like we have in the vid. Its very fun and practical when the visibility is bad😎 Find out the rules in your contry first and then try it out!
Fridykk Vestfold No no no! I will never do detecting with Equipment or magnet fishing. My passion is to find artefacts by making research and than find it under water. Sometimes I find archeological things coincidentally. Once I found an very old kind of boat, our ancestors made from one tree. I will examine it with a local underwater archeologists this year.

Hi, few questions please? 😀 Recently got this (I actually won it!! 🎁🤩) and haven't used yet, but going to Mexico in a few days n taking with. 👩❤️💋👨😎🏖🧉🏝🍹🌊 Need to remove battery for travel ✈, tried and don't want tab to break but can't get it out..arrghhh!! 😟 Did you have issue with it and how did you get yours out? 🔋➡️ No user guide came with it other than the short 'instructions' inside the box, so kinda frustrated as a new owner how it works, so sure appreciate this video!! 👍📲 Next, where did you find the shaft that telescopes? 🤔 Then after seeing reviews about water leaks, it makes me a bit nervous. 🥴 We will be mostly doing beach searching or just at waters edge as we don't dive, any info to share to help prevent any possible leaking issues would be appreciated!! 🚫💦🤞 I'd hate to ruin my brand new gift right away 😭, so doing some research and want to be ready to find some treasures n clean up trash too! 💍📿🪙🚮🗑 THANKS BUNCHES for any tips you can share with this novice!! 💐🥰

@@jimbruce3680 the only problem we have with the scuba tector pro is the low sound. Its difficult to understand why they made it like this? Other then that it works great. We have tried pulsedive, scuba tector and the pro. All great detectores and easy to use. We think Pro has the best vibration of this three.

No discrimination -.- i will buy it instantly if there is a discrimination-mode
If you want a cheap detector with discrimination simplex is perfect. That is what I use and its working good both over and under water👌

That brand had issued with scuba rector with the beeping thing . Never been solved and the after sale service sucks . Don't buy it guys
Your right about the beeping. It really sucks! Dont know what they where thinking before sending it out like that. The vibrations works good tho. We had no problem feeling the vibrations either with or without the exstender underwater/on land.
