Norfolk by Virtual Rail, Great Yarmouth to Norwich

- A trip along part of my V-Scale (Virtual Scale) model railway of the railways of Norfolk, England. This trip takes us along the former Great Eastern Railway from the coast at Great Yarmouth to the regional city, Norwich. Included is a bonus trip along a section of the Midland & Great Northern at Great Yarmouth.
The G.E.R. route survives today as the Wherry Line.

Norwich to Cromer has been modelled and filmed. th-cam.com/video/IKf78q0BRo0/w-d-xo.html The rest of the route has also been modelled, with the M&GN line from Cromer to Melton and Norwich City completed (along with Melton to Fakenham), but with lockdown ended the plan is to use this as originally planned, comparing the line as it was to footage of it today. A film on the Orbital project is planned for later on this year.

Are you planning to do more of the Norfolk routes? I'm quite intimate with the lines as I currently inspect them on a daily basis. I'm fascinated by the old routes as I see remnants of them.
Yes, the plan is to complete several of them over time.

...amazing detail! looks totally accurate for the time, I can remember the extensive sidings as a child at Yarmouth. Just goes to show the articulated carriage idea is nothing new. 👌
Thank you. The model is always being improved and upgraded, but the goal is to get it as close as possible to how things were.
@@nbc_uk there's plenty of archive photographs you could possibly help draw your inspiration from the Great Eastern Railway Society, they have loads of stuff of how it actually looked like even a century ago. Thanks again 👌
