My build is a max foot spear soldier. I level one handed and two handed a little for other bonuses (2h to 200 to get HP and whatnot, sometimes still use an axe for max cleave, sometimes still use a sword when fighting is too crowded). But let me have my say again. Last video i made a comment on how i love spears. I had made one with 45 thrust damage. That was it. But now, i made one with even more thrust speed, 47 t.damage, and when two handed, it tops as a swingable menavliaton with over 100 damage, to crush blocks, pretty good when storming walls to be frank. All i used was a common shaft, manavliaton head, and a tier 4 hook. 140 length will mean fighting on foot will be quite easy and the damage output is very very fun, often 1 hitting enemies. For your foot spear soldier, its quite a thing!
Also with the new 1.8 skill respec option, you can select the lvl 250 "Sharpened edge" perk, craft the swing weapons you want then change smithing perk to "Sharpened tip" when crafting the thrust weapons for an extra 2% damage. Sometimes that let's you focus a bit more on swing/thrust speed :)
Yeah that's a really good point! I forgot about that one :) I suggested using it before for the steelmaker perks after you unlock the parts you want, but 250 is really important too. Thanks for watching!!!
Thank you for always bringing us quality Bannerlord videos! I just played the game yesterday and upon realizing trading is tedious as heck, I decided to go look into the smithing "ez money" tactic and upon realizing that there was some large changes, searched google, and lo and behold! You uploaded this video "2 hours ago" (searched this the very same night I played Bannerlord lol).
My favorite weapon is the tier 5 glaive head on the shortest haft, with 140ish range and 160 damage, with 80+ speed and handling. You can sit on top of a siege tower and headshot every single person climbing up, or go back and forth between two close ladders. 3 focus points plus the smithing perk for +1 vigor is all you need to get 150 for the headshot perk.
Greatswords were never carried in scabbards (just stored in barrels and then carried bare), but if you did, and you wanted to be able to draw it from a scabbard, you would just cut a slide halfway down the top of the scabbard : )
I have no clue what historical text you’re getting the barrel thing from, but some had sheaths/scabbards and all were carried essentially like a musket or polarm on the shoulder. It’s confirmed by treatises and artwork. I have never seen a document saying they carried them around in barrels.
There is plenty of fine tuning for the role. I make my prison break swords a bit different to my battlefield swords. Sometimes you want the right amount of speed, reach, stabbing damage, handling.
Agreed, it's a totally different kind of fight in civilian settings compared to 2000 unit battles. Do you like thrust attacks for prison breaks as well? Or what is your preferred?
@@Strat-Guides I started using one handed swords for prison breaks. It is interesting, and great battles can lead to you improving that really quickly, not as good as two handers but some can be very fit for the task.
For money making on Smithing, you want to combine options. The highest selling smithed weapons I have found in 1.8 is the tier 5 civilian 2 handed blade with a 1/2 hand grip. For material efficiency it's a 1/2 handed throwing glaive.
Yeah for sure, the bastard grip is better for $$$ :) I was trying to min/max for this video so the stats for the 2H only grips were slightly better, but I agree with you!
Great video, Strat. I generally play the game on foot with a mace, but it is always nice to see what other weapons one can craft. Some of them are absolutely beautiful and powerful.
Thank you for watching! Yeah it's interesting to see all the options. I tend to fall into a habit of using the same thing every time so making guides like this and running lots of tests can be helpful to broaden my horizon!
One of my favourite things to use in a siege, offensive or defensive, though if you can get some space a two hander is lethal especially if you can get behind a whole bunch of the enemy distracted fighting your troops.
Tier 5 polesrm: glaive, hardwood oak, and the pointing end for selling $38k a pop. I use the falaxe for my 2 hander so they have an extra damage to shields and such.
Just started a new game with a Hafþór Björnsson-sized character, and I cannot wait to try some of the two-handed axes, swords, and maces as well as the javelins featured in the video. Thanks for putting this together, Strat!
Oooh nice! A Dane axe for a mighty Dane (or was he Norwegian?! My ignorant American brain hurts just thinking about it lol) Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it :D
@@msj1117 Oh gotcha, the rare-breed :) I remember watching a video a few months back where they interviewed a Dane, Swede, Norwegian, Finn and Icelander and asked all sorts of questions, it was hilarious to see what they all thought about each other! I just remember these points - nobody understands what Danes are saying, Norwegians are all rich, Finns phase "i love you" sounds like a curse word and Swedes are very laid back. I'm sure it's not 100% accurate, but it was pretty funny lol
I found an improvement for the Captain America 1h swing damage build. +2 thrust/swing speed, +1 thrust dmg/handling, - some weight. Still has civilian, +dmg shields, and the same reach and swing dmg. Engraved backsword blade size factor 110 (max length) Imperial golden great sword guard size factor around 92? (close to min length) Gold decorated leather bastard sword grip default size Fian's pommel size factor 108 (from your build) Weight 1.92 Reach 121 Thrust speed 87 Swing speed 75 Thrust pierce dmg 43 Swing cut dmg 105 Handling 72
Haha the Deagle blade, sounds like a nice one! I love the look of the curved blades too. I like the Rusalka name too, sounds very legit! Thanks for watching :D
Thank you for watching! Yeah I was thinking about holding off in case they change something, but 1.8 changed a lot for smithing so I figured I would put this out anyways.
My current character uses an extra long crafted lance for mounted combat (only restriction is it has to be a shaft that supports couched lance), a long bastard sword for melee and a hatchet with a shorter handle for close quarters indoor fights during sieges where the long sword gets stuck on walls, beams etc.
As a 2h axe player some of those are just perfect for my long 2h axe plays combined with shield and any 1h weapon 🎉 i feel completely reborn since i found your videos
My personal favourite is....the Glaivelance. It's a one handed couchable lance, it's a braceable spear, it's a 2h cutting polearm. With 227 length a respectable 70 swing speed and blunt wings for dismounting it's the bane of any horse archer horde. Not advisable under 275 polearm skill. 😃 Edit: It's only a braceable spear on RBM version. Parts used: Long Glaive Head; Blunt Wings; Oaken Long Spear Staff and any butt plu...pommel you want. Edit2:RBM version uses Thin Fine Steel Hewing Spear head that allows 1h, 2h, couch, brace, cut and thrust usage.
@@Strat-Guides Indeed it is. My first instance of this weapon was the Menavlance with a Menavlion head (obviously 😄) wich is much faster but at 201 length lacks the reach to be a proper lance. The glaivelance is kinda slow and only 68 handling or so. With good RNR you can maybe get a legendary with 75 speed and low 70's handling but anyway I usually just use a regular Glaive to lvl polearms to 275 and start using it afterwards and then it really shines
As a Khuzait horse lord first and foremost I'm so excited to try some of these out for myself. The shorter ones not so much as I prefer darting in and out of combat and spears will nearly one shot me at those speeds. Joining the discord now for the builds, thanks Strat!
@@MrSarcasticGaming the only thing I can think of is to make sure you clicked on the polearm tab that takes you to the polearm parts selection. If you paste on any other weapon, it won't work. Aside from that I have no clue :(
@@Strat-Guides I got it and OH MY GOD you made a laser of a spear man. It just kills, that handling is really paying off! I wish I could give these to custom troops... now I'm gonna try your one handed swords! Looking forward to more Bannerlord content from you.
funny, your satan´s tooth is also my favorit weapon, but named it Biggus Diccus. build a little diffrent with basic 97 speed, 137 dmg and the same handling. length is at 126 as i sometimes use it on horse as well. appreciate the effort making this video
Thank you for watching!! I messed up on this one - The intro was fun but waaay too long lol I think in the future I'll post something like this a few days before the lead up to build some hype, but also not have 2 mins of fluff before getting to the info :) Thank you! I try to make the best guides that I can!
Haha for the voulge, I always decrease the staff length to about 165 or 175, I chose the staff that allows 2h and couch only. That way I don't go into 1h (game bugs on swapping between 2h and couch mode if there's a 1h option) this also means I don't get the best stats. Which makes me wish I could edit the part somehow.
Goddamn was it worth the waiting. Top tier intro and outro. About the weapons my personal favorites are brass knuckles and boom stick. Maybe shish kebab or dane axe for the 3rd spot.
Thank you!! Yeah I spent all week working on this video and I think it turned out okay :) I'm a huge fan of attack speed for a lot of situations so I agree, brass knuckles is sooo strong!
I have not tested it but it might possible to get a one handed axe that can 1-shot nearly all enemies and take take out shields in 4 hits while still having great protection thanks to being able to carry a shield. Following perks needed One handed Level 25 - deflect (for extra handling ) Level 50 -to be blunt(5% dmg to axes and maces) Level 225 - deadly purpose(5% dmg to all one handed) Level 250 - prestige (extra dmg to shields) Level 275 - way of the sword (for extra dmg) Athletics Level 100 - powerful (4% melee dmg) All these combined gives +14% melee dmg to one handed axes, Your max dmg one handed axe had 84 swing dmg,if we add 0,84 x 14 = 11,76 so 84 + 11,76 = 95,76 it’s not 100 dmg but once we add dmg boost from final level 275 one handed perk, which a further 0,5 x 25 = 12,50 % and it ll get past 100 dmg, also you don’t have to level one handed skill more than that too as it is enough dmg already.
That's a great point about the damage - I have only two things to add: Enemy armor and the leader's perks will effect this somewhat. I've noticed a lot of the AI have high melee skill and each one has HP boosting perks, so sometimes 100 isn't enough to 1-shot. I usually like to have some "insurance" damage to make sure it happens lol Thank you for watching!!
Does the two handed perk that allows for -20% armor reduction still work with other weapon types? As for an axe that might be one of the most important perks you get, as well most axes are slashing damage so the more AP you can get goes a long way.
I finally got around to doing smithing (5th campaign) but honestly I don’t use any of these. I use a short 2hander that’s fast for sieges, but my favorite is The One Weapon to Rule Them All Vougle head or Warrazor and a short(er) shaft that can couch. Now you only need 1 weapon for pitch battles.
As a hobby historian 18:00 is exactly one of the two things a Zweihänder is made for: cutting legs off of horses and swipe away pikes and break them. Just the crossguard does not fit the original. something i noticed but never tested (maybe because i dont even know how to) is that some crossguards have +1-3 hand armor. i wonder how that works and if thats a thing at all. My honorary mention would be the "Basic Longsword". The weapon i use in the early game: Tier 2 Iron Spata Blade Tier 1 Thin Guard Tier 2 Leather Wrapped One Handed Grip Tier 1 Globe Pommel All max size hits for 106 and has a decent reach with 116. Yeah handling of 78 and Swing speed of 88 is not great. but it only costs 2 crude and 5 wrought iron. but it still oneshots looters and Tier 1 troops. The best is, that its only 90 difficulty. by the time you unlock the blade, you most likely already are past 100 in smithing skill. Its by the way also one of the out of line blade parts because all other tier 2 blades need 2-3 Iron but it only takes 3 wrought iron. Makes it even a profitable one because it costs about 600g in materials and sells for at least 1400g if memory serves right.
That must have been absolutely brutal to watch a horse get it's legs lopped. I don't think the hand armor does anything, seems like something they thought about implementing but never did? I could be wrong on that.
@@Strat-Guides yeah... the landsknechts with twohanders were called "doppler" in german which roughly translates into "double trooper" had high risk but was paid double for his trouble. hence the name. why ? because they are in the front rows of the pike formation and on the flanks. the guys in front tend to get kebabd by pikes and shasliked by halberds and the guys on the flanks got either turned into cheese or mush by a horse falling on them. "Doppler sein ist kein spaß" (being a doppler is no fun) warned the mercenary in the opening words of the manual i read.
@@ricwalker6600 Interesting, I was thinking about using doppler too but I figured nobody would know the reference but most people have heard of the famour Zweihander :) Oh wow, yeah that doesn't sound like a fun job title lol
Maybe a tip for the next video. Since doing smithing orders is the best way to level, and I find it impossible to find the right combination to fulfill the order. Maybe a list of all the orders and the possible solutions? It takes me way too much time now and I don't bother anymore, I just smelt all the weapons that I get in hope to ever unlock everything that way.
That's a good idea, actually Hero made a video on that and the solutions are still valid! Here is a link to his video - th-cam.com/video/CEsi-QQWUyM/w-d-xo.html&ab_channel=Hero Let me know if it's all still accurate or not and I can try to make an updated one!
Great video strat. I think my number one weapon will always be some version of the dane axe. But i play sturgians alot. My other build i always use is Mat Cauthon from the wheel of time, who uses Longbow, dagger, throwing knives and his final weapon is a polearm with a swordblade
@@arlobickerstaff144 I know right! The problem i usually end up having with mat builds (or odin builds as i sometimes think of it) is that it ends up MAD. Its a fun build though, i usually make mat a vlandian and call the clan the band of the red hand :)
I have a devil's tooth two handed variant. It does 162 cut damage, 87 swing speed, 74 handling, 119 reach, and weights 2.27. the pieces are Long Falx Blade, Long-Armed Guard, Northern Long Hourglass Grip, and Fian's Pommel. All max size. This is a demon on the battlefield and it is very proficient on horseback despite the lack of length.
My budget Falx is my favorite : 1 wrought, 3 Fe, 3 Fine steel: reach 117, speed 99, damage 131 Handling 99 but one handed 117 84 94 86. Length matters vs cavalry and others. Oh, I hear the no stash thing has been fixed, but will only appear on release. Now I have 2 cities without a stash. Humor also counts :)
it must have been a mod but my favorite weapon i made was a short polearm bardiche, was using it with realistic battles mod and it was just soo good. if i remember it was good b/c it could be swung and being short you wouldnt hit the shield or block to the left or right of you but could cleave (might be a mod at play idc the power fantasy was too good). also could be used as a spear which was really fun in RB mod
Yeah I need to use polearms more often. I usually default to 2H, but I feel like Polearm is a lot of flexible and can do just as good a job as 2H (except 2H axe and mace cleave... but that's pretty niche). Thanks for watching!!
Yeah I think they did a great job with the throwing weapons. Me too! There's nothing like having attack speed so fast that it doesn't matter what the enemy does, they won't be fast enough to hit you lol Thanks for watching!
not a superfan. its a weird thing. Throwing daggers are not battlefield weapons. so they are odd. they exist solely for the gang/prison breaks? weird. maybe if the civilian aspects of the game were more expanded. wheres the plumbata?
@@Cassandra112 Fair points! It's a little odd that with high skill in throwing you can 1-shot heavily armored units lol I had to look up Plumbata, never heard of it before but it's pretty cool! Throwing darts on steroids!
@@Cassandra112 Plumbata heads could easily be the only non-civilian throwing "knives" with high piercing damage and slighlty slower than regular knives for balance
I discovered the cheekslapping powah of the long glaive on myself and it's been a favorite of my own since. Anyway cool to see you do another crafted list with triple the amount!😁
Dane Axe 4 Lyfe, Ill leave large scale battles easly with over 100 kills. And with the Terror Perk for two handers, enemies constantly flee from watching three of their pals getting chopped in half
I made them all and my favorite is "It will KEEEL!" It just smashes stuff i throw one on all my followers and just slap down all the bandit hideouts. I love your videos man. I would love to see more weapon combos. One of my favorites is a 2h sword I use I call it the beating stick. Its made up of IV Fine Steel Broad Kaskara, V Bronze Falx Guard, II Long Hide Grip and a I Flat pommel. Everything is maxed on it besides the pommel which is set to 0. Its not the perfect weapon but it smashes heads in sieges. "Its basically just your mountains blade it has the same length but more swing speed and better handling"
A point from the ghost of taleworlds future. The 'woodchuck' 2H axe you mention here is great with companions as the AI fighting has changed in 1.2.x and that speed+shieldbreaking is more useful since companions struggle with slow weapons or overly long weapons.
As someone that prefers to play battanian, loves two handed swords and always maxes the height of my character, I HAVE to make the Mountain Blade. Almost feels criminal not too. Thanks for the idea lol
Top 3 for me are the blunty boys for capturing. Now that you've blessed us with top tier weapons, I'd love to see a low level budget and meme list. I love using really crappy weapons and super light equipment especially for bandit or non-noble playthroughs.
high athletics and low enough weight can make a huge difference in avoiding damage in game on foot, and avoiding damage is much more effective than ever trying to tank, I might consider changing to lighter armor with a lower value for sieges and foot combat compared to what I wear on a horse.
Man, i love smithing in this game, but it feels like such a grind to unlock all the parts to make cool weapons. Even more so now that you unlock everything in order of the different tiers. Any tips on unlocking parts especially two handed maces and axes, because you dont get many to smelt down. Do you just buy a bunch of them in order to smelt them?
Yeah I agree completely with you on that. I used the console commands to get all parts this time and it still took me a couple hours to unlock everything. Luckily 2H weapons are pretty easy to unlock - just spam the best recipe you have and then smelt them all back down, repeat. Each time you unlock a higher tier of parts, be sure to swap them in so you get more XP and faster unlocks. I will typically craft for 2 stamina bars worth and then smelt 1 stamina bar worth and just keep repeating that. Sell a weapon or two from time to time to keep your money up. I hope that helps!

My ignorant American brain hurts just thinking about it lol)
Thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it :D
@@Strat-Guides I think he's Icelandic? And hell yeah Dane axe incoming...! 😀
@@Strat-Guides That's fantastic, I love watching stuff like that.
@@Strat-Guides whats interesting is, i had a german trying to read norwegian once, and she sounded danish
I found an improvement for the Captain America 1h swing damage build. +2 thrust/swing speed, +1 thrust dmg/handling, - some weight. Still has civilian, +dmg shields, and the same reach and swing dmg.
Engraved backsword blade size factor 110 (max length)
Imperial golden great sword guard size factor around 92? (close to min length)
Gold decorated leather bastard sword grip default size
Fian's pommel size factor 108 (from your build)
Weight 1.92
Reach 121
Thrust speed 87
Swing speed 75
Thrust pierce dmg 43
Swing cut dmg 105
Handling 72
I make sword that looks good to me and name them:
1H western looking arming sword - "Iron Maiden"
1H arabic looking - "Desert Eagle" haha
1H celtic looking - "Howling"
2H claymore - "Singing Bard"
1H viking - "Rusalka" (slavic syren)
1H imperial gladius - "Autismus Maximus"
Haha the Deagle blade, sounds like a nice one! I love the look of the curved blades too. I like the Rusalka name too, sounds very legit!
Thanks for watching :D
You are insane dude, best M&B2 channel on YT 👌
Thank you :D A little crazy is good I suppose!
100% true, keep it!
dude thank you so much for this very informative vid i was gonna request it after game release but as usual u r a step ahead ^^
11:31 in my best Jim Carrey and a Tempurpedic mattress impression, "it's beautiful, man! Beautiful!" 😂
My Favorite video, mostly because of the editing. Great work Strat Gaming, i hope you continue making great content like this!
Thank you!! I really worked hard on this video so I'm happy to hear that :) I appreciate the support!!
As a 2h axe player some of those are just perfect for my long 2h axe plays combined with shield and any 1h weapon 🎉 i feel completely reborn since i found your videos
Thanks for watching!!
El Doinko Chiquito will now be the name of my character when I play a Spanish campaign in a Europe conversion mod.
Haha it's giving off some Don Quixote vibes, sounds like fun!
Edit: It's only a braceable spear on RBM version. Parts used: Long Glaive Head; Blunt Wings; Oaken Long Spear Staff and any butt plu...pommel you want.
Edit2:RBM version uses Thin Fine Steel Hewing Spear head that allows 1h, 2h, couch, brace, cut and thrust usage.
Oh interesting, that's a really versatile weapon!
Thanks for watching! Hopefully some of these can serve you well in your campaign :D
@@Strat-Guides Having trouble getting the copy and paste to work for the couch lance any tips?
@@MrSarcasticGaming the only thing I can think of is to make sure you clicked on the polearm tab that takes you to the polearm parts selection. If you paste on any other weapon, it won't work. Aside from that I have no clue :(
@@Strat-Guides I got it and OH MY GOD you made a laser of a spear man. It just kills, that handling is really paying off! I wish I could give these to custom troops... now I'm gonna try your one handed swords! Looking forward to more Bannerlord content from you.

Lol good thing the misses doesn't look at old video comments :P I'll be on the couch bro!
Your effort on this video is admirable, such a masterpiece, straight to the point and very helpful.
Thank you!
funny, your satan´s tooth is also my favorit weapon, but named it Biggus Diccus. build a little diffrent with basic 97 speed, 137 dmg and the same handling. length is at 126 as i sometimes use it on horse as well. appreciate the effort making this video
Lol I see you have a very great friend in Rome too :D Such a funny movie.
Thank you for watching!
Fresh to the channel & loving the content. You’re very talented at it & the time you put into this video was well spent, fantastic work!
Thank you for watching!! I messed up on this one - The intro was fun but waaay too long lol I think in the future I'll post something like this a few days before the lead up to build some hype, but also not have 2 mins of fluff before getting to the info :) Thank you! I try to make the best guides that I can!
I appreciate how much effort you put into the into
Haha for the voulge, I always decrease the staff length to about 165 or 175, I chose the staff that allows 2h and couch only.
Thank you!! Yeah I spent all week working on this video and I think it turned out okay :)
I'm a huge fan of attack speed for a lot of situations so I agree, brass knuckles is sooo strong!
I have not tested it but it might possible to get a one handed axe that can 1-shot nearly all enemies and take take out shields in 4 hits while still having great protection thanks to being able to carry a shield.
Following perks needed
One handed
Level 25 - deflect (for extra handling )
Level 50 -to be blunt(5% dmg to axes and maces)
Level 225 - deadly purpose(5% dmg to all one handed)
Level 250 - prestige (extra dmg to shields)
Level 275 - way of the sword (for extra dmg)
Athletics
Level 100 - powerful (4% melee dmg)
All these combined gives +14% melee dmg to one handed axes,
Your max dmg one handed axe had 84 swing dmg,if we add 0,84 x 14 = 11,76 so 84 + 11,76 = 95,76 it’s not 100 dmg but once we add dmg boost from final level 275 one handed perk, which a further 0,5 x 25 = 12,50 % and it ll get past 100 dmg, also you don’t have to level one handed skill more than that too as it is enough dmg already.
That's a great point about the damage - I have only two things to add: Enemy armor and the leader's perks will effect this somewhat. I've noticed a lot of the AI have high melee skill and each one has HP boosting perks, so sometimes 100 isn't enough to 1-shot. I usually like to have some "insurance" damage to make sure it happens lol
Thank you for watching!!
Does the two handed perk that allows for -20% armor reduction still work with other weapon types? As for an axe that might be one of the most important perks you get, as well most axes are slashing damage so the more AP you can get goes a long way.
@@MusMasi Asked strat, it does.
I finally got around to doing smithing (5th campaign) but honestly I don’t use any of these. I use a short 2hander that’s fast for sieges, but my favorite is
The One Weapon to Rule Them All
Vougle head or Warrazor and a short(er) shaft that can couch.
Now you only need 1 weapon for pitch battles.
incredible video mate, thanks. Also the update now fixes the max damage on foot polearm (it will keel) and made it much weaker, so sad :(
As a hobby historian 18:00 is exactly one of the two things a Zweihänder is made for: cutting legs off of horses and swipe away pikes and break them. Just the crossguard does not fit the original.
something i noticed but never tested (maybe because i dont even know how to) is that some crossguards have +1-3 hand armor. i wonder how that works and if thats a thing at all.
My honorary mention would be the "Basic Longsword". The weapon i use in the early game:
Tier 2 Iron Spata Blade
Tier 1 Thin Guard
Tier 2 Leather Wrapped One Handed Grip
Tier 1 Globe Pommel
All max size hits for 106 and has a decent reach with 116.
I'm using the Boomstick both as a throwing weapon and awesome one-handed polearm sidearm in addition to the couch lance.
LOVE the intro! The bannerlord gameplay feels like its in VR
Great video strat. I think my number one weapon will always be some version of the dane axe. But i play sturgians alot. My other build i always use is Mat Cauthon from the wheel of time, who uses Longbow, dagger, throwing knives and his final weapon is a polearm with a swordblade
Thank you!! Yeah the Dane axe is so intimidating. Anything it touches is toast :P I love how the polearm with swordblades look, it's very epic!
Sounds like a cool build, the ashandarei
@@arlobickerstaff144 I know right! The problem i usually end up having with mat builds (or odin builds as i sometimes think of it) is that it ends up MAD. Its a fun build though, i usually make mat a vlandian and call the clan the band of the red hand :)
14:03 TY❤
I have a devil's tooth two handed variant. It does 162 cut damage, 87 swing speed, 74 handling, 119 reach, and weights 2.27. the pieces are Long Falx Blade, Long-Armed Guard, Northern Long Hourglass Grip, and Fian's Pommel. All max size. This is a demon on the battlefield and it is very proficient on horseback despite the lack of length.
Dude this is like the best gaming channel lol
My budget Falx is my favorite : 1 wrought, 3 Fe, 3 Fine steel: reach 117, speed 99, damage 131 Handling 99 but one handed 117 84 94 86. Length matters vs cavalry and others.
Oh, I hear the no stash thing has been fixed, but will only appear on release. Now I have 2 cities without a stash. Humor also counts :)
Those are solid numbers - I like to keep around 100 swing speed as well :)
No stash?!
it must have been a mod but my favorite weapon i made was a short polearm bardiche, was using it with realistic battles mod and it was just soo good. if i remember it was good b/c it could be swung and being short you wouldnt hit the shield or block to the left or right of you but could cleave (might be a mod at play idc the power fantasy was too good). also could be used as a spear which was really fun in RB mod
Man these intros just keep getting better and better, keep it up man
Thank you! I still have a long way to go, but I'll keep learning each time :)

I appreciate that!
the Kodachi is my fav here. early game, i give these to my 1H companions and watch them shred.
16:52 is what I use....my fav....good for mounted combat and foot combat
Yeah I need to use polearms more often. I usually default to 2H, but I feel like Polearm is a lot of flexible and can do just as good a job as 2H (except 2H axe and mace cleave... but that's pretty niche). Thanks for watching!!
@@Strat-Guides polearm, bow, and 2 arrow quivers i roll with every campagin

Thanks Jake!! I appreciate you watching :)
If there's one massive improvement that Bannerlord has it's making throwing knives and javelins being long lasting weapons. I love the brass knuckles.
@@Cassandra112 Plumbata heads could easily be the only non-civilian throwing "knives" with high piercing damage and slighlty slower than regular knives for balance

made the executioner cavalry axe before even seeing any videos (i even named it executioner in game lol), it may be slow, but one shots everything
Dane Axe 4 Lyfe, Ill leave large scale battles easly with over 100 kills. And with the Terror Perk for two handers, enemies constantly flee from watching three of their pals getting chopped in half
Scaramouch, Scaramouch you've been stabbed by Mandingo
Cavalry Charge and Couched lance, very, very frightening me!
Hahaha once of my favorites! I tried to find any of their songs to play in videos, but literally everything is flagged. I love Queen!
Do you know what parts it takes to make the" it will keeel?"
Your freaking videos are OP! Nice work!
A point from the ghost of taleworlds future. The 'woodchuck' 2H axe you mention here is great with companions as the AI fighting has changed in 1.2.x and that speed+shieldbreaking is more useful since companions struggle with slow weapons or overly long weapons.
thank you, I was chasing for a good weapon for my companion only playthrough.
As someone that prefers to play battanian, loves two handed swords and always maxes the height of my character, I HAVE to make the Mountain Blade. Almost feels criminal not too. Thanks for the idea lol
I never left disappointed after watching your videos. Awesome work!
I appreciate that :D
Top 3 for me are the blunty boys for capturing.
Now that you've blessed us with top tier weapons, I'd love to see a low level budget and meme list. I love using really crappy weapons and super light equipment especially for bandit or non-noble playthroughs.
Yeah those maces are hard to beat, especially the brass knuckles!
Interesting idea, I'll add it to my list :D Thanks for watching!
high athletics and low enough weight can make a huge difference in avoiding damage in game on foot, and avoiding damage is much more effective than ever trying to tank, I might consider changing to lighter armor with a lower value for sieges and foot combat compared to what I wear on a horse.
7:08 typo in script; Lindisfarne was famously sacked in 793. I'm not here to nitpick dates though, I'm here for weapon designs and you delivered!
