It was so interesting watching how you organise all your yarn-y things in Notion! I’m a Ravelry fan and never considered keeping my notes about yarn and projects anywhere else, but I can see it’s definitely an option 💡
I feel like for me Notion is actually “too flexible” as in: I would get lost with all the things I could do. Ravelry simplifies things for me by providing a standard way to do things and it gives me “boundaries” and doesn’t let me spiral out of control 😂
Edit: I love the idea of the “yarn needed” list actually! I must make one for myself
Also, I’m really not doing a good job at storing my digital patterns. At least upload them to Google Drive or something like that, so that I can find them later. For now I have them in (Apple) Notes but not all of them 🙈 You inspired me!

Thank you! I'm happy it was helpful.
You know, it's just a habit of mine. I use Notion to keep info about many things, even my plants 😅 I use Ravelry as well because of a knitting community there. I always check people's finished projects, not only the designer's version, to get inspiration. And I share my project info there too.
The "yarn needed" list doesn't work for me 😅 In the end, if I come to the yarn shop without the proper plan, I don't remember about this list, I buy what is shining 😅 Maybe I will change this list somehow, idk
And for my digital patterns, I have to organize them. I attached the pattern to the project if I used it. Still, I have more than that.
Do you keep info about your yarn on Ravelry as well? Or only projects?
