We knew that Todoroki Family will fall apart at the end someday and now we have 4 chapters left until the series ends and now we’re going to Spinner and this is a idea that could happen on epilogue chapters will be focus the most
1. Deku’s talk with Spinner along with Shoji
2. Uraraka’s closure between Toga and will she confess her feelings to Deku unless he gets a new haircut to fix up his half shaved hair at the end
3. Find out who’s this mysterious person crying (could possibly be Deku’s dad and hoping Deku’s family finally reunited at the end)
4. Aoyama’s farewell party
5. Deku and Class A finally graduated UA as timeskip could actually happen at the final chapter and Eri plans to sing on UA graduation since chapter 420
But we need some short panels on 4 chapters left
1. Dr Garaki’s execution
2. Overhaul needs to apologize to Eri
Do you think Overhaul will mature enough to feel empathy for Eri and genuinely apologize though or will he just go through the motions just so he can see his foster father?
I have to admit I wasn’t hopeful of a Overhaul actually changing since the last time we saw him he completely disregarded what Midoriya said about truly apologizing for what he did to Eri and instead focused on how he could use her to fix her grandfather. That always rubbed me the wrong way, because it felt like Overhaul learned nothing and still couldn’t see Eri as a human being or understood why his foster father was against his idea to use Eri to revive the gang.
I don’t want Overhaul to see Eri again unless he genuinely reflected and can show empathy for her. If it is just a fake apology so he can see his foster father again I don’t want to see it.
100% agreed. The family is well written. Not likable, but relatable family.
Man, we just makes us wonder that after what happened to dabi seeing the look on his metal face and makes us glad he won’t actually see it for reflection and if he did it makes us wonder was it worth it for him, knowing that what he could’ve done. Because What can I say They tried to warn him about what his power would do to his body but that’s what they get for messing with fire
Overall, I liked the ending for the Todoroki family. I agree it wasn’t flawless. No story is really flawless, but I liked how it ended with Endeavor retiring and vowing to spend the rest of his days atoning to his family, while staying true to Natsu’s character by having him cut his father out of his life and treating his decision as valid one.
As others have mentioned my real criticism is that we didn’t get to see much of Rei and Fuyumi or the family getting to have conversations with Toya. I am curious to see what Rei does afterward. Is Rei staying with Enji or are they splitting up?
To reiterate my original comment, while I can’t say Endeavor properly atoned, at this point, there’s not much more he can do when it comes to accepting responsibility. As long as he watches over Touya from now on, that’s gonna have to do. I’d say something like, “these aren’t the best of circumstances,” but like, with this family, I can’t say I’m surprised. It was hellish until the end.
you know there’s a part of me that thinks it’s for the best for endeavor to retire as a hero because of not just his injuries, but the fact that villain like dabi existed because he inherit flames of his Sorrow, jealousy and hatred that made him psycho and Toya knew it And as a hero he failed as a father
For that was the weakness of endeavor Trying to face Of what will become failure to him And fixing a family problem that would bring his youthful trauma back
Wow. Just wow. This chapter was peak, and an incredible conclusion to the Tododroki family plot line, in my opinion. lol I also enjoyed the Hawks and Nagant interaction; they looked like siblings in my opinion, and I’m also glad Hawks became the new president of the Public Safety Commission because if anyone knows what needs to be done to change the commission, it’s Hawk, and at the end of the chapter with Spinner, most likely the person walking in on him is Deku, and he’ll tell him Shigaraki's last message, which I can’t wait to see.
I’m happy to say that I’m pretty satisfied with the finale here. Toya isn’t dead yet and had his first real brotherly interaction with Shoto, and while I don’t think Enji’s overall arc was very good, Horikoshi at least managed to end it on a high note where he has a plan to atone for the future. While I wish we got more from the other family members like Rei, Fuyumi, and especially between Natsu and Toya, I’m happy that Hori did right by Natsu and had him not forgive Enji and leave. Also, I’m happy Spinner will get potential closure too.
To me I really we hope fuyumi Will find a way to cover those guys
