I gotta give praise to how authentic these look imo. They don't just feel like 80s costumes to me (aside from those awesome plastic sunglasses, but how could you not use those if you've got them haha?) but genuinely like how our relatives look in old photos from that decade. I think your permed hair especially looks flawless and really completes every look.

I read the other day where a so called fashion writer said the 80's style was the ugliest fashion era of all time. First I thought you foolish writer you know nothing, then I thought guarantee if that was on the runways she would be all hyped up about it. I remember a boring college class, which I was planning to quit, where everyday I sat in the back next to a guy who wore the pushed down white socks with the cool New Balance sneakers and how cute he was. I was wearing the Guess overalls and my Kaepa high tops with the changeable color triangles. We were always very quiet but smiled at each other. He made my heart beat and was the only reason to tolerate that class. We had a test that day that I was not prepared for and was going to secretly quit the class that day. I quickly took my test, handed him a note saying I thought he was very cute or handsome, put my test on the front desk and never came back. Later that day near Campus, I saw a Porsche with a license plate with his full name on it waiting and picking up a girl walking out of a building. Not sure if it was a girlfriend. I think it was his car, I mean it was his full name on it. But that was a gutsy thing I did and still remember how freaking cute he was and how much I loved his look with those pushed down socks and cool shoes.

Brings back memories! Actually, you reminded me of my favorite accessory: the t-shirt ring/slide. I had a flamingo ring one that I loved, that matched one my mother had.
Wish those shorts in outfit #1 would make a comeback. Man were they comfy.
