    I loved Grant’s game. I was crushed when he left the Pistons. I always felt he got a bad rap for being ‘soft’. This sequence proves that rap was nonsense. Notice how when Mourning jumped up after being slammed Grant didn’t even take a step back. He just stood there, like,”What you want, son?”

    I love how Mourning just leaves the gym after the dunk. I think he went straight home, no shower nothing, Heat had to play some forward at center the rest of that game.

    I remember during this time I was about 6 years old and the only sports athlete I knew about in basketball was Michael Jordan and this guy...being from TX, sports topics were dominated by the NFL s Dallas Cowboys in Tx..the NBA was nothing big in yet here other then the Rockets..So I was this little kid and I remember that the big topic in the NBA was MJ and one other player that caught my attention... being such a little kid I didn't even know his name properly, but I remember talking with my schoolmates about who is better MJ or in my mind I couldn't even get his name right but I would call him Bread Hill..because that's what I thought the commentators were saying...I thought his name was bread Hill...and my friends would say who is Bread Hill... LMFAO... But yes he was another MJ at the time..

      mikem987 the one thing you gotta give to him which was why he probably got put on these guys was his tenacity and team IQ. His injuries probably didn't make things easier too. It just annoyed me so much whenever he played these super athletic wings like he could keep up with them step for step. Its like if you're going to try and go with them step for step, at least shuffle your feet properly on defense. Miami deserved this play to happen lol.
