The AC/DC critics according to wiki: Throughout the band's career, their songs have been criticised as simplistic, monotonous, deliberately lowbrow, and sexist. [...] "regardless of the lyricist, [...] there's a deep strain of misogyny in the band's output that veers from feeling terribly dated to straight-up reprehensible." [...] "the brutal truth is that sexism has never kept a great rock-and-roller down-from Muddy to Lemmy, lots of dynamite music has objectified women in objectionable ways. But rotely is not among those ways", in regards to AC/DC. Fans of the band have defended their music by highlighting its "bawdy humour", while members of the group have generally been dismissive of claims that their songs are sexist, arguing that they are meant to be in jest. [end wiki]
My thoughts go out to Frank Zappa's "The torture never stops"

I played Polonaise in A-Flat Op. 53 when I was 19. At first glance the Military Polonaise is less daunting yet still a stiff challenge. But I’m going to see what I can do in the next two weeks. The temperature in NY feels like A-Major, = FIRE!!!! (A major to me is usually volcanic energy. Beethoven 7th symphony for example, and the explosive IV in Beethoven op. 101). Sometimes softer, gentler music can be in A-major, obviously (like first piece in Brahms op.118), but the default is A = raw power, like the sun itself or exploding artillery.

This is also called The Military Polonaise because it sounds like soldiers marching / drilling in the town and getting ready for a war. It is an energetic and an up beat piece (A Maj). BTW, when I was a teenager I had a bet with my brother that I could play a "Chopin's Polonaise" when I was still a novice player. I did it in a two weeks up to the middle part. But I didn't get the prize and I didn't continue to finish! This was Polonaise #3 in my book. I guess the next Polonaise challenge will be op 53 /#6 :)

If you really want the lid fully closed set your KSM141 on cardioid and aim the mics to shoot above the hammers and mutes towards the soundboard. Or open the lid at least 5cm (you can find sth to put in between, we often use a roll of black gaffer tape) and then put the mics in small AB stereo in the middle of the curve outside the lid aiming for the soundboard (mics could be level with the down face of the lid). Kind regards :)

1:29 "I'm sweating like a pig". I enjoy your frankness, your mastery of idiomatic expressions, and appreciate your ability to convey a picture.
But... pigs have few sweat glands and can hardly sweat. 🐖
Let's not propagate the idea that pigs are dirty animals.
Apart from that beasty detail, thanks for a wonderful video, and channel... 😉

Can you do this challenge with "Merry Go Round of Life (Animenz Arrangement)" from Howls Moving Castle?
I think the piece is very nice and the arrangement also seems quite challenging. (I haven't played it so I'm not 100% sure)
