It was a fictional cartoon that did fictional things just like other cartoons. A caveman wouldn't be able to communicate with people from the jetsons time period at all because they had their own language that started out as gibberish before it became Latin.

How is no one seeing that The Flintstones have the lever set to PAST in their time machine and not FUTURE, and that's why they went to The Jetsons time. Therefore the Flintstones came after the Jetsons, the difference is that the Jetsons went to space and The Flintstones stayed on Earth

Everything we have done or will do we will do over and over and over again forever."

And then Fred replied, "Oh, yeah? Well, none of this would've happened if it wasn't for your cooking." And Wilma remarked, "Oh-ho, so now you're saying it's MY fault?" and Fred answered, "If the shoe was invented, wear it!"

I absolutely loved the Flintstones! I adored the "Ann Margrock episode!" I do believe characters were based on "The Honeymooners." I tried very hard to like the Jetsons and even watched most episodes, but really never enjoyed enough to watch over again.
Yeah I remember we were trying to sing the *_Eep Opp Ork Ah Ah_* song from the *_Jet Screamer_* episode. I'll tell you though in this clip all the voices sounds like the original actors but the voices for Elroy and Barney (originally Mel Blanc's voice) are spot-on.

No one ever looked into the lyrics of the flintstones " a very modern family in a page of time" it never explicitly states past. Also the flintstones are to advanced to be cavemen. It was suggested nd hinted by the creator that the flintstones where in fact the future and the jetsons where there past.
What was wrong with this movie was that the Teenage Pebbles and Bamm Bamm wasn't there. I bet Judy would have really hit it off them and the rest of their gang.
