John Lawlor was great in the role of Leonard - too bad it only lasted a season! Not sure what else he did other than this but I always liked that character. Garn Stephens and Carmine Caridi were also great.
I wish the quality was a little better, but, THANK YOU for sharing this. There is so much ugliness, hateful, just plain hate, fear, worry and sadness in the world right now, this is such a mental break, funny, and nostalgic. I knew there had been a spin off but I was a baby and have never seen these. Thank you my friend. Be Blessed in Jesus Name.
This was one of the really good episodes of the series...there weren't enough of them, but all the best ones had either a guest star like Jerry Stiller, or Judith Lowry (Mother Dexter.) It was a shame that it got pulled after only 2 years. I personally liked the city supervisors' office a lot, Carmine Caridi and John Lawlor were superb, wayyy better than Dick Schaal and Liz Torres who were usually just annoying. I wonder if the show would've run longer if Barbara Colby had lived.
This guy's as bad as Warren, the guy who kept bugging Mary. I wouldn't be able to tolerate this, I'd have to tell him to get lost, can't be too polite with such a weirdo!

One of the weirder episodes. Jerry Stiller totally kills it!
18:40 - nice comeback and quick thinking to get them out of there.
