Hi, i watched your other video like this one. Excellent work!! I'm from Canada and can't get the same lubricant. Can I use any old food grade silicone? Also, can I, or should I, lubricate the threaded drive shaft that moves the infuser? And what lubrication should I use? Thanks.
Hello! Yes, you can use another food-grade silicone grease. I lubricate the gearbox threads with blue MOBIL grease for bearings. But there are craftsmen who lubricate the gearbox threads with silicone grease. Here, everything is up to you and the ability to purchase grease in your region.
I don't know. You need to study the coffee machine's operating manual. If the manufacturer recommends it, then you can. But I try to use only professional cleaning products for coffee machines. Only in rare cases do I use universal products.
@@saecoffeetime1148 Great advice. Thanks. Do you think it's important to lubricate the gearbox threads? How do you expose them? I watched a video and they started a brew cycle and quickly shut off the power to the machine. In the manual it says not to shut of the power until you turn off the machine.
I have an issue with a Delonghi magnifica s and I need help! Grinds fine, heats fine, pumps fine, clean the brewinghead regularly A few weeks ago it just started making real watery/weak coffee. When I open the hatch on the side there is always old coffeegrounds there and I believe that the issue is that it just doesnt clear it. Do you know if it's electrical or if some piece just broke off? Any ideas?
Hello! I think your problem is mechanical. It is difficult for me to say exactly why this is happening. Since there can be many reasons for the malfunction. The coffee machine needs to be diagnosed.
@saecoffeetime1148 The arm on top of the "brewgroup" that scrapes the old puck off is pushed by a little plastic thing connected to a spring. This little plastic thing is fastened to the interior with a screw into (what I think) is the entire hull/side. The hole for the screw broke off from it's place. Basically the weakest point is where the screw is fastened and not the components. I am trying to glue it into place and see if it can survive the load. Doesn't seem worth it to change that entire piece, if it's even possible. I've had it for 6-7 years think but have kept it alive with videos like yours. This is probably the end!
Zkus si nastavit mlýnek tím kolečkem co je v násypce na kávu nebo co je to velké kolečko na nastavení síly kávy a nebo vyčistit spařovací jednotku jak je na videu.🇨🇭
@depruplessan55 It broke from it's mounting place so I ended up just fastening it with a screw from the outside. Machine still works and the coffee is great!
Super! The best video I've ever seen! Thank you!
Hi/time to replace infuser O-RINGS?

Thanks for the reply. Do you think I could use citrus degreaser to clean the parts? I don't have the same product in Canada that you used.
