Abbey the Lisa Eldridge foundation is absolutely brilliant &wears beautifully & looks better as the day goes on! The guerlain oil is everything! Thank you for your lovely review.
Thank you so much Roberta! It really does look so good as the day goes on! AND yes, I am new to this Guerlain oil and absolutely love it! So good! xoxo
I bought the foundation the SECOND it was available. I absolutely LOVE it! I can’t think of a foundation I like more, and I’ve tried a *lot* of foundations. 😬😂 I bought shade 5 and it’s perfect, but I can see 7 working for me in the warmer months (although I really don’t get much, if any, additional color). I do set a bit under my eyes (bc I still use a touch of corrector and concealer) and around my nose, but every time I’ve worn it, I’ve been shocked at how great it looks several hours after application. I’ve loved all of Lisa’s launches, but she seriously hit it out of the park with this one!
Woo hoo! This makes me so happy! I think it is really unique and just struggled with matching but - I struggle with ALL shade matching - LOL! So I am glad we have a fan out there!!! Thank you for sharing. xoxo
I think I went to light and wish it offered what Sephora does with similar foundations…. I went with shade #2 and wear 3.75 is the GA luminous silk…. Shade 6 in Pat Mcgrath so I’m a little worried
I’m trying this foundation for the 3rd time. The first two days, it didn’t wear well (wore off on the tip of my nose by mid-day and accentuated my pores). Hoping I have better luck today, as I love Lisa.
Oh no! I am so sorry to hear this! We all love LISA! She is amazing but if the foundation is not working for you that is okay too! My tip would be - less is more and that you can set it with a little powder despite it being self-setting. I hope this helps. xoxo
I bought this foundation as soon as it was available because she’s really nailed the olive undertones; literally every other foundation I’ve tried/owned eventually, if not immediately, pulls pink, orange, or yellow on me, no matter the depth. The shade 16 is perfect right now and as my skin fades in winter, I’ll add in the 9 light olive. I like the formula a lot, though I prefer the coverage, blurring, and longevity of the Cle de Peau radiant fluid matte formula (thanks to your recommendation!) but the Eldridge is a better color match; I have two shades of the Cle de Peau that I mix and they still aren’t quite right in tone, so I really congratulate Lisa and team for nailing olive skin in the light-medium range. No one else has done it quite as successfully in my view.
YAY!! That is so awesome to hear! AND yep, I still love the CDP radiant Matte! Still one of the best in my book but the fact that you have to mix is a bummer -so I am thrilled that you found your perfect tone with LE!!!! She really is brilliant! xoxo
Dear Abby, you are so pretty it is unfair to the rest of us. I looked like a dry cake face even after your excellent tutorial. My sin is simply too dry. It cakes around both my eyes and mouth. I don’t know that a genius like L. Eldridge was thinking. You are such a beautiful soul. I love your videos. Obviously, you are also an excellent mom as well. Beautiful inside. And out. I will not be purchasing any more of the foundation. I don’t have time to be fiddling with multiple colors and primer. You honest and clarify make it so much easier for the average consumer. Than you. Although I agree with your other followers, you so beautiful you do need a foundation
I love this foundation ✨ The Lisa Eldridge team helped med choose shade. Nr.5 and nr.4 worked. They are so helpful. I just send a photo with swatches on my chin.
Hi Abby. I think you might be shade 10. You are my shade twin and 10 is perfect for me. I absolutely love seamless skin! I prep exactly like Lisa recommended with the Embryolisse moisturizer. It looks dewy and lasts all day. I too have very dry and sensitive skin.
Dear Abby, thank you for the review. I was also a bit confused with the shades, was thinking between 10 and 11 and then finally picked up 9 which is exactly like my skin, somehow I was refusing the fact that I have olive undertones 🙃. Re Lisa’s Pop Up studio, she was mentioning that it will be open until end of the year only. Hope she will change her mind and due to the high demand and popularity, she will extend it so you can enjoy it while in London. Take care. Petra
YAY! I am glad you found a perfect match! AND thank you for the heads up on the POP-UPs closing down at the end of the year. NO!! I was so excited - I hope she extends them but if not there are plenty of other places to go! LOL! xoxo
beautiful review! I decided not to buy this foundation, I feel I have so many great foundations that I love... (tom ford, la mer and Armani are my favorite ones) I just felt I have to conquer my FOMO and be happy what what I already have. I think it looks great on you and I love the shade you selected❤️
I got number 12 in LE foundation too. I was really hoping you would pick it up & extra excited when you said you got shade 12. We are the same shade in most foundations. I was also thinking maybe I needed a lighter colour but we are coming into our summer so I will see how I go. I found I put too much foundation on the first time too & it creased badly in my wrinkles 😬 but once I used less it didn’t crease at all. Thank you so much for this review 🥰
What a great explanation of how to use this foundation and it looks beautiful on you. I love it on my skin. I'm 69 with REALLY dry skin so I do use Embryolisse as a primer under the foundation. I need very little of the foundation for my entire face. The car mirror does not lie LOL I've done a few "yikes" at times checking in that mirror. Thank you for a great review. EDIT: I got shade 10 which is fine but I want to play around with 11 & 12 as soon as the cards come back in stock.
Woo hoo! This is great to know and I want to get that Embryolisse as a primer as well. AND yep, I am not completely sold on 12 and can't wait for the cards to come back in stock to continue to play a bit more. THANK YOU for sharing. xoxo
Hi Abby, I also bought a darker shade 11 (slightly darker than my neck colour) without a sample card as it was out of stock. Interestingly it worked better for me than the lighter equivalent. Despite the lighter shades matching my neck, it looked patchy and unflattering by the end of the day. The darker shade 11 blended better with hyperpigmentation and darker circles (ie. no ashy under eyes) and looked natural at the end of the day. I have dry 40+ skin & I find I get better results using loose powder for dry skin (eg. By terry hyaluronic & Koh Gen Do). The self setting claims didn’t work for me.
Oh my goodness, Abby! This foundation is lovely on you. I cannot go twelve hours in any formulation, as I get uncontrollably oily. I do have the LE ‘light’ sample set but haven’t tried it yet. So glad I got to see you in action first. My heart rate increased when, at the end, you shared that a LE surprise may be arriving!!! I ADORE her line and its elegance and simplicity. Please do share soon! Much love from Lake Charles. xxoo xxoo
Oh my goodness, TAMMY! I miss you and I am so excited! My goodie showed up today and I am in love! I will definitely be sharing. I could not decide on square or oval so we might get to see both!!! I will do an unboxing! Sending you LOVE and Light! xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite ~ How awesome is that! ❣️YAY❣️ I miss you, too. Physical therapy is going GREAT! The icing on the proverbial cake ~ I lost 10 pounds since surgery. See you soon, my friend.😘
Hi Abby. LE talked about how her shade range is so wide that people may find that their shade from more limited ranges would not necessarily work with hers. However, her foundation seems like it sheers out enough to work. You looked great. It would be the dream to get color matched at the LE popup in London! I’m so excited for your LE jewelry and can’t wait to see it! I have been looking at her pieces forever and finally received my ring earlier this year as a birthday/pandemic gift to myself 🥰 I couldn’t be more pleased! I’m sure you will adore your ring and the lovely jewel box packaging with the handmade puff as well. So reminiscent of vintage makeup packaging. Best, Jamila
YES- I totally agree!! AND it would totally be a dream come true to get matched at the POP-UP! AND my ring showed up today. I love!!! Which one did you get?? I have been lusting after these for years - and want to collect them all. They are just beautiful! xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite Yay! So glad you got it and are loving it! I got the oval Meena. And yes! I would love to get more, particularly the Kate (love that green!) because so stunning 😍 Honestly, and I know it sounds a bit silly, but I got a little emotional when I opened it because just so amazingly lovely 😊 Enjoy!
I am loving this foundation. Purchased shade 7 but could also use shade 5 - the shades are close in color range, but the undertone of 7 was a more perfect match. I actually use the Chantecaille radiance elixir underneath this foundation and it give a bit more moisture and a bit of glow. I find the foundation wears incredibly well during the day. Sometime I dust a bit of the Chantecaille blurring powder, which does not make the finish look dryer at all. I am also loving VB Miniskirt blush - I find these stick cream blushes wear so well and don’t fade at all through out the day. You are so right that this foundation is unlike any other - love it and your videos ❤️❤️
Thank you so much Ann! Are we similar in shades or are you a bit more fair? I am wondering if I need 7 or 10. LOL! Still on the hunt! AND I love the idea of Radiance Elixir underneath. I am wearing that today with my Future Skin which I still love. AND YES! those VB blushes are amazing! I love them! AND all the colors too! xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite I typically wear a shade lighter than what you wear. For me, shades 5 and 7 were so close on arm swatches (which Lisa advises against) - swatches on jaw and cheek, 7 was better in terms of undertone after letting the swatches sit for a minute or two. I think the foundation melds with the skin after a minute or two. Shades I use are TF soft matte 1.3 nude ivory, TF shade and illuminate soft radiance in cream 1.5 and nude ivory 1.3; Chantecaille future skin & cushion Alabaster; Le Mer soft fluid Ivory. If you click on a shade and scroll down past the shade selections there is a “Match My Existing Shade”. I was impressed with all the brands and foundation products under each brand - very comprehensive - shade 7 kept coming up in the match with other foundations.
@@anndoucette4307 thank you!!! Yep, we are about a shade apart and I kept getting 10, 12, 18 and I think 7 - LOL! So went with 12.... but you know I overthink everything! I am still waiting for my Ebene to ship but can't wait to try it!!! Thank you for sharing this great info. xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite I got 4 a couple of times - the shades are so close together - I was also going to try 10 as it was a bit deeper and still with a neutral undertone but the sample cards as you mentioned were sold out so I went with 7. Your videos are great, Abby. Your are so candid and when you like something you describe it in ways that are real and authentic. No one describes scents as well as you do. Love your videos. Hope Zoe and Emmet will be home for the holidays - know how they make you smile and glow ❣️
@@anndoucette4307 Thank you so much!! I really appreciate your kind words!! And it is Zoe's birthday tomorrow and Emmet flew in to be with her in LA! SO it is really cute to see them together! AND Zoe will be coming home for Thanksgiving and they will both be home for Christmas - so lots to be thankful for!!! Will you be with your kids as well?? AND Yay- I have several perfume videos coming up!! Woo hoo!
Hi Abbey The House of Eldridge is opened til the 31st December of this year. Hopefully Lisa will do another Pop up shop next year. Everything is instock including the sought after Go Lightly Lucent Lipstick 💄. .....ask a friend to get items directly from the store before it closes on December 31st. X
Hi Abby, I agree that this is a unique formula. I got the light sample card when it was in stock, usually I’m matched to neutral foundations, but #5 & 7 looked light on me. I ended up going with #6, which is golden undertones bc it worked best. My skin tone is like a chameleon, so I was surprised that it worked. Next time, I will take your advice and use less. Definitely found that this foundation looked better throughout the day. I have a makeup lesson with Mandy Davis in January for my daughter’s upcoming wedding, so it will be interesting to see what foundation works best for the big event. Thank you for the wonderful video!
I purchased shade 12 and found it just a tad bit dark as well. I think I'm going to mix it with my Surratt Dew Drop, which is slightly too pale for me. I think the LE foundation wears really well and does not look dry on my very, very dry skin.
It did look best at the last check in, but I will probably pass because I have so MANY foundations (not to be a content creator) and don't know if I want to work that hard to get a good look!! Thank you so much for your candor and for sharing it with us!!!! Love and Hugs!!
Tanya- I totally get that! After trying the samples - I was on the fence but then watched Lisa video and decided to give it a go... but yes, I also had many people asking me to review it!! So you do not need it. We have so many good foundation!! Thank you for watching and sending love and hugs! xoxo
Hi Abbey I will give the foundation a go, you will love Covent Garden hope you enjoy yourselves. I always use face oil for years now, its great for my skin anyways, so will definitely try the Guerlain oil. You have such great skin Abbey I know I keep saying it, but your skin actually glows naturally. 😀 I always use the car mirror as you can see straight away how your make up actually is ☺ Just love all your videos/tutorials so informative and interesting, you have a soothing, relaxing voice too. Take Care Abbey, enjoy your day. Gill 🇬🇧 xoxo 💖 💕 💓 ❤ 😘
You are so darn sweet, Gill! I appreciate ALL your kind words! You are making my whole day! AND yes, I am so excited for this trip! It has been A LONG time since I have been to London. I spent a summer there for summer school and just completely immersed myself into the British culture! Loved it!!! I hope you have a great day! xoxo
Hmm I'm still not sure what to do...I have seen a few not completely negative but mixed reviews. I have difficult skin for foundation anyway. If I'm in Vanilla in Chantecaille do you think your shade will work for me? I've heard the neutrals run warm and the cools run gray? I'm still confused. I'm looking for a little more winter coverage and thinking Dior, LaMer, Guerlain, etc. Any recommendations? They tend to just sit on my face and not blend in. Thanks for a great review!
Susan- I think this truly is a unique product that we are all learning how to use- nothing like it in our foundation collections. So it is a bit confusing and I wish I had more swatches to share but really need the Light Medium ones and only have 1 lof the LIGHT sets. I have not found that the cools are running grey and definitely had that happen with the shade NEUTRAL in the La Mer- which I would recommend for more winter coverage! I just picked that up at the Sephora sale in shade DUNE and love it! I also have Natural coming - so hold time on shades if we are the same. BUT that one is a true medium! I hope this helps! xoxo
Hi Abby - I’m 51 with dehydrated skin (from meds), and using my regular skincare prior to applying (serums, DE Protini, and Biossance squalane SPF), I find that this foundation gives me an amazingly skin-like finish. I’m smitten! I am shade 11 (light-medium with neutral golden undertones), and you skin’s undertone is definitely different than mine. I think yours is cooler. In other foundations, I tend to buy neutral or neutral pulling warm shades. Shades that pull more cool or rosy never work for me. I hope that helps!
I know Lisa said that I shouldn’t go by the swatch of foundation. I’m either 13 or 15. I purchased shade 15 because it was described as more neutral than 13 but 13 still may be my winter match. I apply this over a moisturizing primer or a tad of face oil for slip and I’m good to go.
Abby, I have the foundation in #10. I really need to play around with this foundation. I used my fingers-one pump, but I had some pilling. I'll have to try the brush and maybe something different underneath the foundation. I'm not completely sold yet-still love my Chantecaille cushion foundation the most.
I love the Cushion too! AND I have not had any piling but others have share they did. So since you already have it- play around a bit more. Once you find the right combo- you might LOVE it - but I get it.... it is not a grab and go foundation. xoxo
I enlisted my husband’s assistance in selecting between #10 and #11. #10 won out as #11 pulled too yellow. That said, I ordered #10. Since I haven’t worn it yet I payed close attention to your application technique. So, this video came at a great time for me. 😊
YAY! Keep me posted on shade 10!!! I enlisted my hubby too! He kept saying 13 because of the Blonde hair model but then decided on 12 but 10 was in the running as well. I can't wait to see what you think! xoxo
Thanks for this very helpful tutorial Abby! First off, how is it that you always look like you have foundation on before you even get started??? So jealous! I know, it is all that healthy living and dedicated skincare, but wow you have such beautiful skin. I actually got ready in real time watching you. I ended up buying shade 5 even though I'm normally second to the very lightest in most other foundations but everything on the first swatch card was too fair or just off for me. Today I slathered on a sample I have of La Mer cream before putting on the light layer of the foundation and so far it looks good. I also swiped on the Westman Atelier lit highlight stick on my cheekbones under the foundation, which gives it just a nice hint of radiance.
Thank you so much Alisa! You are so darn sweet! I think the La Mer cream is probably the best primer!! Good idea! Keep me posted on how this combo work. xoxo
Just found ur channel, looking forward to watching your content! Gotta say I love the perfume collection behind you, I noticed the Shalimar first , it was all my mother wore ❤ best memories, some great classics there!
@@AbbyBlissWhite 😘 , I'm a tom ford black orchid girl, cant seem to break away, I've tried many of his, but seem to stick to that or oud wood! Summer usually Soleil blanc , maybe haaaa. 😉 Lisa
I am usually around your shade, only with warm/golden undertones and I picked up 3 shades (I had tried the samples of all of them before, but still): shades 6 and 8 have a slightly different undertone, visible when swatched, but when I put them each on one half of my face next to each other, they are indistinguishable from each other and seem to match my winter body almost perfectly (my face is a tad darker, because of sun damage). Any sane person would have just tossed a coin in this situation and bought any one of them, but I guess I am a bit OCD, so I bought both and plan to use them both, since they are practically identical for me. :) I also bought shade 11, which I plan to use either as a mixer, to make 6/8 a little warmer (because generally, if I am in between shades, I prefer to go a tad darker rather than lighter, the latter makes me look a bit ghostly, I find. I am not talking about going way darker, just barely noticeably, half a shade as a max), or I can use it as my summer shade. But I can even get away with wearing 11 now as it is not very much darker than 6/8 (especially if I am just going out in the evening, as I notice that in artificial lighting I generally look a bit better if my foundation is half a shade darker rather than half a shade lighter, then I may look a bit washed out), it's a bit darker, yes, but not noticeably, I notice it if I study my face 5 mins in the mirror :) otherwise not much, so actually my summer shade may be an even higher number, like 13... so, my conclusion would be: wait for the sample cards to be restocked and do try the shades, because there actually may not be much of a noticeable difference between 10 and 12... (btw, on camera, the 12 looks nice on you, but you did have a roller neck, so...)
Thank you so much for sharing! This is great advice and I can't wait to get my hands on a few more samples. AND yes, I almost ordered 3 shades myself and decided to hold out... so don't worry- you are in good company and it is okay to be OCD about foundation matches! xoxo
I agree with EVERYTHING you said. Abby- I have shade 10 if you want me to drop off a sample to you. It dries down a bit darker not oxidizes, but air dries darker. I prepped with Charlotte Tilbury flawless filter but I am going to take your advice and use an oil OR use half foundation and half moisturizer like Lisa used in her video. This reminds me of LYS Fix Serum foundation! I tested and wore that for the wedding, and I needed no powder, and had the exact finish. I have to say the LYS is not as persnickity as LE!! Let me know if my chauffeur can drop off #10 sample to you!❤
You are so sweet! Don't worry-I am going to get the sample cards but I am so glad you had a similar experience and glad you got 10! I had heard great things about LYS too! xoxo
Like you I had to find the right bases (a high glow SPF on the the outer part of my face and a regular SPF on the t-zone) the result was lovely. This product will not be my go to but definitely my special occasion foundation or when my rosacea flares up-it is excellent at covering redness. Thanks for this review. p.s. The foundation makes a perfect concealer.
Hope I didn’t choose to light of a shade I tend to run fair/light with a cool pink undertone so choose shade #2 why because the next Rosey undertone was in Med and they didn’t have a fair shade option…. I have purchased two very expensive foundations and the TF shade and illuminate was way to light for me being 0.4 rose and the 3.5 rose is a tad to dark ( darker shade is in the traceless stick ) but I can pull off the 3.5 so here is to hoping it not to light and add to the $400 wasted in wrong High end foundations shades…. All the samples in the light have been out of stock since before the release… wanted to wait to open this but with you choosing a shade so much darker than me I’m a tad worried
Hi beautiful Abby! I was wondering if you you still applied your beloved sunscreen before the oil primer ? I have seen a few other reviews that showed this foundation not meshing with their sunscreen. Just curious.🥰🌈🦋🌺🌺🌺
Yes, I apply my Glo Skin Beauty Solar Shade SPF 50 and then let it sink in for about 10 minutes. Then I applied - the oil on top before the foundation. I hope this helps. I have not had any issues with pilling. xoxo
I got it in shade 7. It’s a pretty darn good match for me. I really wish the brush wasn’t sold out…. Any suggestions for an alternative? I’ve worn it the last two days without any additional skin prep and it’s good - just not dewy. I do think it improves as it wears and my natural oils come through. I also haven’t set it, which is unusual for me. I don’t have a flat style foundation brush, so I’d like to see it with that sort of application.
YAY! I am so glad you found a good match! I am still on the hunt- and the brush that I would recommend is this one from Westman Atelier- shop-links.co/cf1S4Ex8FDH I hope this helps! xoxo
Hi Abby, I usually use the same foundation shades as you, and wanted to share that I ordered shade 10, which was a neutral tone. and it was perfect. If you feel the 12 was a little dark, I think the 10 may work for you.
I’m scared of shade matching. Omg. You know that. So Im fair light neutral. Let’s see. Oh the cards samples were sold out. So I’ll have to just order maybe and see. Great review. I always prep with oil. But it’s like picky. Hmmmmm🙈
Louise- you know I WAY overthink the shade matching. LOL! AND yes, I hope the sample cards come in soon because that is truly the best way to try it. THANK YOU for watching! xoxo
Shade matching is so important, it's worth waiting for the sample cards. The customer service people assured me this would be restocked, unlike some of the lip and cheek colors which can sell out and not come back for ages. Don't rely on the shade matching system, it gave me and many others strange results. Also, experimenting to find the best skin prep products is more important with this formula than many other foundations.
I actually think this shade works for you, at least on camera!! But I can see 10 on you as well. Love your eye look. 😁 Everything I try under this foundation ends up pilling if I rub my face! 😩 I need to try the samples again with an oil underneath...
OH no!! I am not having issues with pilling but I have heard of others.... I wonder if it not meshing with your SPF. That can happen. Keep me posted. xoxo
I love foundation too Abby. But dimethicone is my enemy. I can’t wear it anymore. So I’ve switched to Chanel vitalumiere moister rich. It doesn’t have any dimethicone at all. And the ingredients are fairly clean (amazingly) only bad would be fragrance.
I bought shade 5 and it works but 7 might be better…. But I’m not quite sure if I should try to get through 5 which could take years or just buy 7!!! Lol!!! So many things to buy so much inflation 😉
I don’t want to have to “learn” how to use a particular foundation. I just want it to perform well whether I use my fingers or a sponge. (And I hate those paddle style foundation brushes.) Honestly, I was a little turned off after visiting Lisa E’s website because trying to match my skin tone to a bunch of models’ faces was not my cup of tea. But I have my perfect foundation, so I’m not going to bother with this one.
That’s me, Mature Dry Skin !!!! Dying to try this foundation !!! Very interested love !!!! Love Lisa !!!! Wow UK .. SPECTACULAR!!! I love the shape of the bottle !!!! Wow 40 Shades !!! $61 is not bad at all 💕 I’m have ur coloring, so I may try 10!!!! Blends beautifully!! I love the bottle !!! Love the #1 brush !!! I’ll have to try it 🥰🥰🥰 LOVE THE GLOW!!!! I absolutely love OILS !!!!!!!ur skin is BEAUTIFUL!!!! thanks Abby , GREAT VIDEO sweetie 🥰🥰🥰
It looks very good on you but I’m surprised how light the coverage is ( which I prefer ). The shade is maybe a little peachy looking but not much, but if you buy the other and mix them I bet it’ll be fine but what a pain. Have you tried it with one of your regular brushes
Thank you Zoe. It really is a buildable kind of foundation. I just have found that LESS is more on my skin type. AND I have used my fingers and a sponge and now her brush too. I think my It Cosmetics Heavenly Complexion Brush would totally work too! xoxo
The minute this foundation was available, I ordered it immediately and am so glad I did! It sits beautifully on my skin & I agree that using a hydrating, smoothing face oil or primer is the way to go. The foundation shades I wear are similar to yours. If it helps, I ordered 10, 11 & 12 and while I can wear 12, I feel 11 is just right. I’m curious about your thoughts on the brush … is it a must-have? Does it apply the product better than a standard fluffy foundation brush?
Thanks for sharing!! I was wondering if 11 would be a good match! Once Lisa said she was 11 - I was like- I want to be her color. LOL! AND I really like brush but it is not a must have! I just wanted to go ahead and get it after listening to her talk about painting it on in small strokes. I felt like I put too much on the first time I tried it. BUT no- not a MUST HAVE!! xoxo
Great video!...my skin is dry and I ordered the test packets to find my cover and see it it's moisturizing enough. They are $3 for a packet of 4 shades and free shipping. So I ordered the two Light test packets. You sound like you're trying to keep your voice really low in the video, almost a whisper...

She really is brilliant! xoxo

Thanks for sharing!! I am going to do that as well - once I can get my hands on a sample set for the Light Medium category! xoxo
Dear Abby, thanks for the update 😊 you are a classic beautiful woman 🌹
Abby, no 12 looks good on you! I'm now trying the samples and 11 is too yellowy so will try 12 now. The texture is amazing!
Hi Abby. I think you might be shade 10. You are my shade twin and 10 is perfect for me. I absolutely love seamless skin! I prep exactly like Lisa recommended with the Embryolisse moisturizer. It looks dewy and lasts all day. I too have very dry and sensitive skin.
Thanks for sharing!! I think I need 10 and that cream! I do really like this foundation - the color is just not quite right. xoxo
I couldn't agree more: the car mirror is merciless!! Thank you for another great review, Abby. xo
It truly is! I think we all need to put our makeup on in the car every day! LOL! Thank you for watching!! xoxo
LOL! xoxo
Abby your skin looks so gorgeous I doubt you even need foundation! However this looks really good on you!
Oh thank you! That is super sweet of you to say! xoxo
Doesn’t she have a lovely complexion?!
beautiful review! I decided not to buy this foundation, I feel I have so many great foundations that I love... (tom ford, la mer and Armani are my favorite ones) I just felt I have to conquer my FOMO and be happy what what I already have. I think it looks great on you and I love the shade you selected❤️
I totally get that!! AND yes, the FOMO is real but you already have great products to enjoy! I am proud of you!! xoxo
Oh wow! I am glad we are SKIN TWINS! Yes. LESS is MORE with this foundation. Thank you for sharing your experience. xoxo
THank you for sharing your experience and tips! I am curious about shade 11 too and using some powder! xoxo
❣️YAY❣️
I miss you, too. Physical therapy is going GREAT! The icing on the proverbial cake ~ I lost 10 pounds since surgery.
See you soon, my friend.😘
I think 12 is perfect on you...it warms your complexion!
Thank you so much Dana!! I appreciate the vote of confidence! Woo hoo!
Woo hoo!
Hi Abbey
The House of Eldridge is opened til the 31st December of this year.
Hopefully Lisa will do another Pop up shop next year.
Everything is instock including the sought after Go Lightly Lucent Lipstick 💄.
.....ask a friend to get items directly from the store before it closes on December 31st.

Thank you so much for the heads up! This makes me sad they are closing the pop-up>. It looks so cool!!! xoxo
Thanks for the review Abby! I’m thinking about this one, please keep us updated! ❤️
Will do!! I am continuing to play! xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite Great Abby!
This is great to hear!!! Thank you for sharing!! xoxo
Thank you for watching and sending love and hugs! xoxo
I can't stop staring at your eyes 😍😍😍
This is hugely helpful! Thank you so much for sharing and I am so glad you love it!! It really is great!!! I appreciate you sharing! xoxo
Thank you for sharing Becky!! I am so glad you are liking this and for the tips! xoxo
Oh thank you! I am so happy to have you here and yes, I am obsessed with fragrance and Shalimar is a classic - loaded with memories!!! xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite 😘 , I'm a tom ford black orchid girl, cant seem to break away, I've tried many of his, but seem to stick to that or oud wood! Summer usually Soleil blanc , maybe haaaa. 😉 Lisa
Very helpful & I think the color is spot on! What about the brush? Can you suggest some dupes for the brush as 76$ is pretty steep. 🙏
Thank you so much! The other brush that you might like is this one:

I hope this helps! xoxo
I am usually around your shade, only with warm/golden undertones and I picked up 3 shades (I had tried the samples of all of them before, but still):
shades 6 and 8 have a slightly different undertone, visible when swatched, but when I put them each on one half of my face next to each other, they are indistinguishable from each other and seem to match my winter body almost perfectly (my face is a tad darker, because of sun damage).
Any sane person would have just tossed a coin in this situation and bought any one of them, but I guess I am a bit OCD, so I bought both and plan to use them both, since they are practically identical for me. :)
I also bought shade 11, which I plan to use either as a mixer, to make 6/8 a little warmer (because generally, if I am in between shades, I prefer to go a tad darker rather than lighter, the latter makes me look a bit ghostly, I find.
Thank you for sharing Maxine!! I do think this is a beautiful foundation and you are right- not your daily grab and go!!! I appreciate the tips! xoxo
Dear Abby.Looks so much better than the first time.Still not convinced.
Thank you Kate! I am not trying to convince anyone- just sharing my review! I hope you have a good day. xoxo
I ordered shade 12 as well and I never used a foundation with a rosy undertone!!!! But the sample was seamless on me
That is awesome!!!! Good job!! xoxo
I am still on the hunt- and the brush that I would recommend is this one from Westman Atelier- shop-links.co/cf1S4Ex8FDH
I hope this helps! xoxo
Hi Abby, I usually use the same foundation shades as you, and wanted to share that I ordered shade 10, which was a neutral tone. and it was perfect. If you feel the 12 was a little dark, I think the 10 may work for you.
Thanks for sharing!! I am thinking I need 10!!! I appreciate you letting me know! xoxo
Everything I try under this foundation ends up pilling if I rub my face! 😩
I need to try the samples again with an oil underneath...
OH no!! I am not having issues with pilling but I have heard of others.... I wonder if it not meshing with your SPF. That can happen. Keep me posted. xoxo
Hi! What's your shade in the Kosas concealer? Just to know if we're similar skin tone and might be the same foundation shade :) thank you!
Hello! MY color in Kosas is 2.5. I hope this helps! xoxo
@@AbbyBlissWhite we use the same shade! Thanks so much ☺️
I love foundation too Abby. But dimethicone is my enemy. I can’t wear it anymore. So I’ve switched to Chanel vitalumiere moister rich. It doesn’t have any dimethicone at all. And the ingredients are fairly clean (amazingly) only bad would be fragrance.
Michelle- I love that Vitalumiere foundation too! AND that is great that it doesn't have the big D in it! xoxo
I bought shade 5 and it works but 7 might be better…. But I’m not quite sure if I should try to get through 5 which could take years or just buy 7!!!
Lol!!! So many things to buy so much inflation 😉
LOL!! I am wondering if I should get 7? or 10? We are hilarious!!! Keep me posted on what you decide. xoxo
I am so glad you have your perfect foundation and yep, you don't need to buy something you don't need and not attracted too! xoxo
You are so beautiful 🦋
Ahh.. thank you! You are so sweet! xoxo
So bummed I did not get the brush…waiting for it to restock and then getting foundation in 10…
I hope it restocks soon! It really is a nice brush and yes to 10! xoxo
BUT no- not a MUST HAVE!! xoxo
I hope you took wee satchmo for a little walk too Abby! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 x
Yep! Satchmo always get a little love and walk!
