As promised, here is my UPDATED AM Skincare Routine using my Auteur Skincare products. I hope that you find this video helpful and thank you for watching.
For Reference - I am 56 years old and have dry, mature skin. I struggle with sun damage, hyperpigmentation, fine lines and wrinkles, and have fussy or what I like to call bitchy skin. LOL My skin can't take too aggressive of products or routines. I have learned the hard way!
Everyone's skin is different and what works for me may not work for you but I have been asked to share my current routine- so here we go!

Hello Maureen! You are always so sweet to me! So I still love BR and I put these brands on par with each other. I have used BR off and on for 7+ years and since I am a skiincare junkie... I love to try new things and mix up my skincare routine when I feel like my skin needs a change. It is kind of like when you favorite shampoo/conditioner is not giving you the oomph - you like.... I still use my BR but just have been leaning on this routine for a little extra TLC! I hope this helps. xoxo

I am a BR, Valmont, & MBR user. This brand is beautiful and effective as well as expensive. However, once I started using less product it has become more affordable and actually seems more effective. Thank you Abby for sharing your experience. ✨
YAY! I too love the above brands and have a few routines going on. AND yes- I was WAY overusing products and serums and such. SO you truly can pick a few key items and use less and it will go a LONG way. THANK YOU for sharing!! I still love what I call the marshmallow cream from MBR. I usually splurge on the Extraordinaire cream in the winter. It smells so good to me! xoxo

I love that cream too on my mature 65 gracefully aging face. Top it with a bit of valmont teint foundation mixed with fluid vip O2 ….. perfection 😊

Hi Abby!!! Yes me too I've been waiting for this video mostly because of Autuer products. I've been using the Renewal Serum and the Density cream. Now I would like to add the Collagen Activator serum, the Toner and I would like to try the retinol serum. I have one question for you: Can I use the Cleanser on my eyes to take off my makeup? thank you so much ❤
So sorry for the delay!! And yay-- that is a great combo!!! I love love love the Toner and the Collagen Activator. SO good!! You can use the cleanser on your eyes but I personally first use a little BIODERMA Micellar first because I wear waterproof eyeliner and that sucker needs a little help removing. My nighttime routine is coming up -- but I definitely put it over my eyes with no irritation. THANK YOU!

Hello Pamela! I hear you on the LINE serum. TO me, it is very active and I tend to use it a few times a week and just a little. I do think it is super firming and effective but just A LOT for my skin. I use other lines as well and mix and match! I have been a Biologique Recherche gal for close to 8 years but am also a skincare junkie and love to tinker within reason. I have been sharing that I love these new serums and was asked to share my Auteur skincare routine- and this is what I have been incorporating in that past few months consistently. I am so proud of you for not loving the SUN. I kick myself for wanting to be TAN - even though my skin does not do that- LOL! I went to tanning beds in high school -- UGH!! I am paying the price for that now. I do find that with most lines - they work best all together but I personally will listen to my skin and kind of incorporate what I need that day and such. I'm a skincare junkie now and for me, using hydrating toners, essences, and lightweight emulsions has really added to my skin's overall hydration. I have to also be careful about using actives. Like, I have never used tret and am pretty sure it would blow my skin up. As of now the strongest retinoid I can use without becoming red and inflamed is .05% Retinaldehyde (Avene or G&G). I'm able to use Glycolic Acid though which has definitely helped smooth and brighten ny skin.
Because I love trying new things it would be impossible for me to just stick with one line. I read somewhere that the Auteur products don't go well with other skincare products containing silicones. Generally I use a mix of Korean, French, European, drugstore, and high end products. In Alaska I have to watch my skin closely because it's cold and dry here 7mos out of the year.
Your skin looks very good for someone who has spent time in the sun.

Ty Abby. Love your channel! I'm using Defenage and alternating w SkinMedica TNS and Retinol and using both M61 and IOS Clinical Serums am and pm. I like the CR cleanser and various toners. Can't wait to see what the pm routine brings!🎉🎉🎉

YAY! I am excited to see what you think! And yes, I still rotate in my Angela Caglia Cell Forte-- I love that serum - and am on my 2nd bottle. I have a few key brands that I use and I am admittedly a skincare junkie. So I use Biologique Recherche, Angela Caglia, Allies of Skin and such and sort of listen to what my skin needs and I have been leaning into my Auteur routine for the past few months. Which of the Auteurs do you most highly recommend?
So I always tell people to invest in the SERUMS because those will be the most impactful for the skin. You can always buy cheaper cleansers and such. I am one of those weirdos that thinks everything needs to match - lol- because they designed the products to all work together. SO I don't buy everything at ONCE. I just slowly add on to my routine each month. I do love that Definitive Lifting Toner too! SO I would see what your skin can both benefit from in the SERUM line up and start there. Whaaaaa, no BR? I've gone down the BR rabbit hole...am curious how Auteur compares for you
LOL! Dana- I have been a BR gal for more than 7+ years -- so don't worry - once you are a BR gal - it is a lifer kind of brand. BUT I like to listen to my skin and when it needs a shake up- I will tinker a bit and these two brands play really well with each other. Both have incredible ingredients and Auteur is a German Brand versus BR with is French. So slightly different protocols but still believe in treating the skin gently. No stripping of the skin barrier and such. I like that the serums are sort of one and done -versus my cocktail of serums + finishing serum. These are both great brands that you can't go wrong with. xoxo

@@danaconnor8255 yep - once you start you never stray far but these two actually play well together but on days I use my Lotion P50 - I don’t use enzyme cleanser. I learned the hard way - not to over exfoliate my skin. 😂
