I playe 3 of the dates prior to this one on that years warped tour and a few prior years. We played vancouver, the gorge, and then oregon the next day With Glassjaw and Thrice except we were on the drive thru records stage but we hung out with Daryl in Oregon. Came across this video and had Deja Vu seeing him just a couple days before this. THrice were good friends of our band because our drummer did web design for tons of bands back then.
Sure the hell was was that the Cleveland , it was so f****** hot, PTW and glassjaw we're supposed to play early in the day. Ended up closing out the show all-in-all phenomenal but I was hoping to get the hell out of there way before that LOL
I was there and it started raining so hard in Cincinnati that year that they moved the used and poison the well to a small 500 cap venue called Annie's and it was fucking incredible!
Search up “Glassjaw - live at pukkelpop 2018”. That set was soooooo good. Their performance and the recording were the best I’ve seen of them. They could legit release it as a live album it’s so good.
I was there at warped tour that year an i was astounded at how not interested the crowd was. I cud easily walk right up to the front railing. They sounded amazing though...met them after the set. Great guys!
Yeah that’s a good point! Still a great recording. I had tickets to see them 3 times in the period of their first 2 albums and 3 times they cancelled due to his chrones disease flaring up when they travelled to the UK. Eventually saw them live twice but it wasn’t quite the same as back then.
It's so great seeing a band just be tight. These days too many bands are all on click tracks and backing tracks. Sometimes seeing a band just having loud cranked amps on stage and they are just tight AF reminds me reminds me of why there was a reason why we did it like this.
The Worship And Tribute days were so good. Wish the audio quality was a little better, but still great to see these guys perform these songs! Thanks for sharing this video!
Justin is such an underrated Guitar Player / Song writer. That little solo he took during ape dos mil, was fuckin sexy, just groove.... simple... effective.

Saw glassjaw at warped tour this same year an no one was interested in them but their peers on stage. Glassjaw was my no# 1 band in these days. Still sounds amazing to this day....to this day!
I dont know if anyone else can recall, but I swear on this tour, mainly the camden new jersey stop, they did like a really spastic open and screamed "we are glassjaw" like 5 times then went into Bartender. I can't find anything of it though. anyone remember from the 2003 warped dates?
He was in a Mike Patton worship and tribute type of mood with all those vocal switch ups in tip your bartender. I've seen him freestyle rap over bridges and use other people's lyrics. He sung "I shot a man in jersey just to watch him die" around the time Johnny Cash died!
What’s up with the red faces guy standing in the back on the stage? I used to have this on DVD and that guy always bugged me. Is that like acne or did he have paint on his face?
@@dalekay9ine currently on the playlist for my drive home from work , really cool to mix things up and listen to something I don’t really listen to , So far I can tell the band “ lower definition “ draws a lot of inspiration for this band
For real. When I saw Glassjaw at Riotfest in Denver in 2014 the crowd went fucking bananas. Especially when they played Babe. I'm genuinely surprised someone didnt get hurt.
Or you could just consider letting people enjoy the show that they paid their own money to go see however the fuck they want and not be a twat about it?
@RC-fi8nn I agree. Sure, EYEWTKAS got some real cringe stuff in there, out of context. But I can appreciate the rawness of a critically sick, spurned 20 year old trauma dumping his heart out into some music. It grapples with some fears and emotions that some people spend most of their lives never facing, especially at a young age. No doubt, its sometimes very immature, but I like how genuine it is.
That screech Daryl does before the first chorus of Tip Your Bartender is so effortlessly cool lol mf is such a legendary frontman

Warped Tour 2003 was a great year. Glassjaw, Poison the Well, Thrice, The Used, Sing the Sorrow era AFI, Tsunami Bomb, Coheed and Cambria, etc.

When all this shit is over, they should do a retro 2003 warp tour all the same bands & a couple extra.!
2003 I didn’t get to see Tiger Army because the drummer was shot before my stop. I did stick around after AFI to ask about Fred though.

Deftones, Incubus and Glassjaw. That would be one hell of a fucking ticket😁
Old warped tours were the best
Omg yes that scream he did was so chino too
glassjaw opened for deftones on the white pony tour, summer 2000. it was a mind blowing experience for me

0:27 - Tip Your Bartender

i went to this warped tour. i was only 13. probably one of the best days of my life. glassjaw and the used stand out in my memory.
The Used really was one of the stars of that year, they fucking killed it every day to some of the biggest crowds
Keep the Glassjaw coming 😍
When I first heard these guys years ago I didn't initially 'get it'. But once I did I ncver stopped coming back. They're so good.
