I'm part of Kenny's alumni group who took his speed academy classes and we were talking about all the KB cars at mecum last Wednesday. Rich at KB Performance told use that all three cars were owned by the same gentleman. From what I understand, he passed away and his kids were selling his collection. There was a 98 Crown Vic, a 97 SVT Cobra and this 03 Cobra.
big panther platform guru here. his 98 crown vic (lounge lizard) and the 03-04 kenny brown marauders were way more impressive in upgrades, little low on power but every bit of the drivetrain was touched on those. the vics had 350bhp and the marauders 466bhp (358whp).
I appreciate that. Some people on the Facebook page I posted this video on had some rude things to say about me. I don’t make the videos for them, I make them for people like you who appreciate the hard work and enthusiasm that goes into them. Thank you for your positive support.
I like you finding different things about 03-04 termis. On my 03 it has the marking on the air filter housing. Like many do with stock intake. Mine also has whats looks like a “K” on top of the radiator “black small squares piece” the more i looked at it i believe its not a “K” and it just means “IC” possibly for intercooler. I havent seen any with that factory marking. Maybe you have.
Well we aren’t talking about Shelby’s. Like I said. None of these cars came with the snake. 94-04 mustangs are what I’m talking about. Also, newer Shelby’s were all made at ford and yes they came with a snake on the front from 2007 on. Only super snakes, KR’s, Shelby GT and Shelby GT hertz were modified by Shelby.
@justin.c_svt That was insane wasn't it? I saw one back in 2018 I believe at a Barrett Jackson auction that went for $132,000. I think you did a video on that one too.
I know Ford did so vinyl stickers for these Mustangs they're actually really hard to find now is like Chevy they sold vinyl stickers for Corvettes vinyl stickers that went on the fenders the stickers are hard to come by two yes there's aftermarket companies and make them but the original product does not exist no more it's discontinued
@justin.c_svt really I wouldn't even drive the car I'd get a new wheel from lmr it's crazy and if it left the factory like that I'm surprised no one had them replace it when it was new sve makes some nice ones
@Jb-mp1in A long time ago someone commented on the other one that was similar and asked if they had so much road rage that they twisted the leather on the wheel

Good insight. Thanks for sharing
Hi, Yes, I was approached by the consignor with the same story. I really liked the 97 Cobra.
I think it’s neat that some of these cars were taken and some of these company’s adding their touches to them like Saleen, Roush, Kenny Brown
My 2003 cobra was sent to kenny brown after kindig-it did the widebody. Kenny Brown is amazing
Did you get a serial number on yours?
Pictures?
I would never have a whipple with stock injectors.

40k is a great deal. Plus auction fees, still worth it.
I want to know is a 1000 Mach audio system a package when this course came out
It was available from 2002-2004 but not an option for the Mach 1 or cobra
@justin.c_svt thanks
Your videos always educate me Justin!! The new edge professor 👍

No mention of the shallow sparkplug threading on the 03? Corrected 04,had 70k on mine when sold, hard miles😮😊.
I have those same magnaflows on my Mach1 love them.
Awesome video… I live in Florida and it would bee cool to go to this auction.
3:01 that could be old PPF
I agree. I studied the picture and thought that same thing
The Red Kenny Brown Cobra from 97 or 98 was a much nicer car. The Kenny Brown cars are very rare.
Awesome video Justin cool you did that car off of Mecum and I saw the car live on TV go across the block
Did motortrend say anything interesting about it when it was on TV?
Play David they talked about how rare it was what's a Kenny Brown kit on it and how the 0304 cobra set the standard for muscle cars back then
Good to hear
The snake in the grill may not be a Ford thing like you said, but the Shelby ones certainly do.

Nice 👍
Did you see that 93 Cobra R that sold for $165,000?
Yes I did
@justin.c_svt That was insane wasn't it? I saw one back in 2018 I believe at a Barrett Jackson auction that went for $132,000. I think you did a video on that one too.
The bidding went so quickly on this one
Awesome car!

It wasn’t that bad in person. The car was outside in the dirt before it was put inside under a tent, I was at Mecum on Friday.
It looked good under the tent in the walk around video. But the pictures show a lot of rock chips and scratches
Sick cobra
Never heard of kenne brown

that steering wheel on the comp orange one how has no-one changed it out its horrible
Oddly that’s the 2nd low mile comp orange coupe I’ve seen like that
@justin.c_svt really I wouldn't even drive the car I'd get a new wheel from lmr it's crazy and if it left the factory like that I'm surprised no one had them replace it when it was new sve makes some nice ones

Wrong wheels on the car
Yes. That was mentioned in the video. 2000 Cobra R wheels
