Agree. A little annoying that PC games go on sale so often and are more into the free to play but pay for skins meta. I own most of these games but there's no way I'm shelling out $60 to play some of these titles. I usually just end up playing one game at a time and then selling them and buying a new one. Idk im not normal though, when I play a game I play it to 100% so doesn't really make sense for me to hang onto it if I've literally done everything there is to do. Like odyssey and arceus I literally did everything you can do so I sold them. I still have smash obviously and BOTW because it would take quite a while to finish all shrines. But like Kirby I'd like to try out, but $60? Yeah ill pass.

Pikmin 3 Deluxe is amazing on that as well and hope more people pick it up. Waiting on Pikmin 4. You have a new subscriber.
definitely dragon dogma. for the best, most complex combat system and great character development so many factors come into play. npc companions learn player behavior, improve, can be borrowed from other players, and then come back with gifts and trophies and new knowledge. Class change at any time. A game that went down with the release of Skyrim, but remains one of the best fantasy RPGs to this day. the sequel, Arisen, finally brought a few more Fast Travel Crystals into play.
its a great game, but i still think that anton is right about BOTW. it has so many things going for it, so much to do, it is VERY replayable, it has a great combat system, a great story, its very open, has many little features like the house you can own, the cooking is a very neat feature, and fast travel is very nice. Dont even get me started on the DLCs, they are fun as hell. Overall i think its clear that BOTW takes the top spot, and lets hope the sequel is just as good or even better.
I ordered me the OLED and I can’t wait to get it. My daughter got the Nintendo Switch for her birthday last year and I’ve been addicted so now I gotta get one and I will have it in a few days and I’m super excited. So far I’ve loved the Kirby games especially the new one. Also my favorite has been Mario Kart 8. I love it. It was my favorite on the N64.
I just recently got a micro sd card for my switch because there are so many games that I haven't gotten on my Switch yet. Like Pokemon Legends Arceus, Animal Crossing, Luigi Mansion 3, any of the Xenoblade games, Metroid Dread. And the games that are coming out like Splatoon 3, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, and Breath of the Wild 2. I mean the Switch when it's all set and done will definitely have a top 3 first party lineup for a console of all time. Maybe even the best.
Kirby sounds and looks so much fun. Looking forward to buying it soon. Just got my first Switch lite with New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe and it’s awesome! Just didn’t want to get it with any other game. It’s a classic!
@@mojojoro123 haha i had the same thought when i first played it! If you want more, I highly recommend doing the 100% because it's quite satisfying and accessible while having its level of difficulty
@KristiyanT I’ve heard Super Mario Odyssey is very good. But Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe is so hard sometimes. Some levels are almost impossible to clear. Kirby is much more easy going. But I guess that depends on personal preferences.
Amazing list!! I have played all these games and love all but a few! I was surprised not to see Fire Emblem Three Houses and Zelda Link’s Awakening, those games are outstanding as well. You have earned my sub
The true list: 1- BOTW / 2- Mário odyssey 3- super smash bros/ 4- Mario kart 5- animal crossing / 6- splatoon 7- bowser’s fury / 8- metroid 9- Luigi’s mansion / 10- xenoblade 3 OR pokemon arceus OR fire emblem 3 houses Kirby is too easy, Mario maker is the same, never played pikmin. Do not buy Mario strikers, Mario golf, or any game of Mario playing sports, cause lack of content. Bônus: switch sports and ring fit are great
Oooh nice list! I would just love to add Fire Emblem: Three Houses. If you like Tactical turn-based RPG games, then this game is for you. I just can’t get over this game, it’s such a masterpiece! From the story, the music, and the characters. Aaaghhhhh! This game is so underrated.
Great review!!! I was actually hesitant of buying a Nintendo Switch OLED but this video really did made a great impact to make me wanna buy it! I’m most excited about the Super Mario games. But would love to check out all the games mentioned on the video
Would have to say my list is 1. BOTW 2. Odyssey 3. Ultimate 4. Fire Emblem Three Houses 5. Metroid Dread 6. Luigi’s Manaion 3 7. Animal Crossing New Horizons 8. Sonic Mania 9. Splatoon 3 10. Kirby & Forgotten Land
Surprised that Fire Emblem Three Houses and Bayonetta 2 isn’t on the list and XenoBlade Chronicles Definitive Edition is my Favorite Switch Game of All Time
Obviously everyone has different tastes but to me 3 houses was amazing. I think this list is really good, I haven't played arceus or Kirby so I think I'd just replace one with 3 houses
Very solid list! Smash Bros and Mario Kart should've been higher. Luigi's Mansion and Kirby should've been lower. Zelda Breath Of The Wild is the best game of all time.
I hope the new BOTW allows u to craft weapons, have people fight along side u and have multiplayer co-op, also able don’t let weapons and other items break.
I agree with you, it's just a fine balance between adding an elegant feature that would be fun versus it becoming a digital chore. Cooking in BOTW was perfect IMO. Fast, easy, and to the point.
@@KirbyKlein6 I did not like the cooking mechanic. It should at least allow for bulk cooking, so I don't have to navigate through the menus so many times, for cooking a bigger amounts of food. Honestly, I just finished BOTW and while it had many great aspects, I don't get the hype... The story wasn't that good, it was hard to connect to NPCs if you mostly interact with them through memeories. At some point exploration didn't seem worth it, as next to armor (which was a system I highly enjoyed), I mostly got weapons that broke to quickly, or some resources that at some point I didn't need that badly anymore - given by characterless mummies or characterless spirits. The puzzles where fun, but got old fast. There where some cool spots to find, like the great fairies, but I would've liked NPCs that stuck around a little longer, so I can get to know them for more than a quest or two, some great stories to explore and shape. And I missed the big, astonishing temples and artifacts. Sorry my little complaint about cooking ended in a rant. It was not a bad game by any means and I see why people enjoy it, but for me it lacked some character in key moments. Hopefully the sequel will improve on that.
i finally bought a switch yesterday because i heard botw 2 is coming spring next year. played the first game on pc (emulator) and it was one of the best, if not the best zelda experiences ive ever had. really hyped for that one
Your list is uniq and good I prefer xeno 2 over 1 and I also would have slid in fire emblem three houses and maybe dragging quest 11 but so many great games on the system hard to make a list with just 10 or even 20
Nothing beats Breath of the Wild. It's not even close. Since the release of the switch its been sad that nothing comparable has come out. It's always number one on any games list for the switch, which is well deserved. But honestly it makes all of the other games seems so shitty in comparison.
Nah it doesn’t make the other games look shitty, because they’re all amazing games in their own right. BOTW is just a legendary game. considered to be one of the best pieces of work ever created.. so that coming on top even after 5 years just shows you where it ranks on the all-time pantheon.. same applies for Ocarina on N64.. or FFVII on PS1.. these are generation defining experiences.
@@tor2919 Yeah I pretty much said that. But that doesn't mean we should just be happy it exists and that nothing in the FIVE years since its release has come out to compare.
You chose Nintendo games only, which makes me think you don't adventure too far from the shore... you should, my friend, there is a whole sea to explore!
1. zelda breath of the wild 2. mario odyssey 3. mario kart 8 4. smash 5. animal crossing 6. splatoon 2 7. kirby 8. fire emblem three houses 9 luigi mansion 10. xenoblade remastered If I could only pick 10 games to own for a switch collection...
Dude you have to play pokemon, I wouldn't start with Legends Arceus though, if your gonna play pokemon on the switch I would 100% play something like Pokemon Sword or Lets go Pikachu, then move onto Legends Arceus, there's no timeliness involved really, so you COULD play any game you want to, but thats my recommendation. Its a really fun franchise.
This means that I would never have obtained the nintendo switch if not for third party games. Still grateful because the switch is the only cheapest handheld that allows a 36 yrs old gamer like me to play interesting third party games
Thanks for this list. I just got an Oled switch for myself a few days ago and have been unsure what games are worth the money. So far I’ve got mario kart 8 and Mario maker 2 which I love. Waiting for animal crossing to install currently which is really excited for. I have my eyes on breath of the wild and bowsers fury!
What a coincidence, I bought the Switch OLED Model 6 months or more before, and the games I currently have are Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Super Mario Maker 2! I’m currently looking forward to more competitive online games, such as Splatoon 3 and Super Smash Bros Ultimate. I think I am going to buy Splatoon 3 first.
You’re in for a treat when you get BOTW! I wish I could play it for the first time again. The sequel comes out in May and I got a switch specifically for that game.
I stopped playing games for a decade. I played Nintendo systems and always preferred the Xbox and PlayStation over the Nintendo games. After gaming the last week and playing my sons switch I am definitely going to grab one when and when there is a price reduction. I will have a brand new switch so when I make time to play it. How can you not like a system in which you can play locally and also take it with you on the road? Great system and also is fun for the family.
Thanks for Great list of games. You featured some games that I know but never really watched gameplay or anything. I never really liked the pokemon games but the one you showed looks promising. I already have most of the games you showed but I think I will buy pikmin or pokemon...

I’ve always loved my consoles and was an Xbox gamer for the 360 but then switched to the PS4 pro. Been thinking of getting a ps5 but they are so expensive and hard to come by I have been thinking about the Xbox X, but I recently played my nieces Switch and think that is the way to go. My GF also loves the switch as she is a massive Pokémon fan and is not really interested in games on the Xbox/PS. Does the Switch offer enough 2 player co-op games that we could play together?
Thanks ! i am an old NES guy and am new too Switch. actually i have completed quite a huge number of title on switch ....but my list would be different and shorter (must to play on portable and dock) 1.BoTW 2.Mario odessey 3.Hollow knight 4.Witcher 3(patch 3.6 and above) 5.Hades there are many good games like doom eternal , warface , metroid dread , monster hunter rise , pokemon arceus ...but tbh there arent as optimise as they should be on switch...would you recommend doom eternal on a switch to another friend who has a ps5 and a switch? dont think so ...the list in my opinion should highlight the strong points of switch and of course the game itself....and nothing is gonna beat botw tbh , its on its own league provided the next pokemon game is done properly ( sword and shield is not as good as previous gen and crystal remains the best , arceus is pretty good and a breath of fresh air )....
The only must haves are oydessy and botw. Smash as well if you have friends to play with but the games old now. Same with mario kart 8. The new zelda and metroid prime 4 if it ever comes back as well.

definitely dragon dogma. for the best, most complex combat system and great character development so many factors come into play. npc companions learn player behavior, improve, can be borrowed from other players, and then come back with gifts and trophies and new knowledge.
Need to get Dogma.
@@cameron.nl. will try . Ty ;)
if they can improve on the first one then Dragons Dogma 2 will be the greatest rpg of all time
Please also consider Hades if you want a good priced high quality game. Incredible gameplay, story, soundtrack, characters, overall addicting!
I got my first switch yesterday. It's a switch lite but I still spent 400 getting games too
Kirby sounds and looks so much fun. Looking forward to buying it soon. Just got my first Switch lite with New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe and it’s awesome! Just didn’t want to get it with any other game. It’s a classic!
Kirby and the Forgotten Land is definitely worth it. Probably in my top 5 Switch games
@@lioli6961 just bought a physical copy of it yesterday. I am loving it! I hope it has lots of levels because I don’t want it to end 😅
Glad to see Metroid Dread receiving some love
Amazing list!! I have played all these games and love all but a few! I was surprised not to see Fire Emblem Three Houses and Zelda Link’s Awakening, those games are outstanding as well. You have earned my sub
Agreed, both top 5 material IMHO
Fire Emblem Three Houses is amazing! I’ve put in over 120 hours in that game and I love it!
Nope...This is a Pokemon and Mario advertisment..
You have a lot of courage. It’s always nice to see someone following their passion despite adversity.
How good was Kirby! I loved how it started off easy and then was dark and difficult by the end.
The true list:
1- BOTW / 2- Mário odyssey
3- super smash bros/ 4- Mario kart
5- animal crossing / 6- splatoon
7- bowser’s fury / 8- metroid
9- Luigi’s mansion / 10- xenoblade 3 OR pokemon arceus OR fire emblem 3 houses
Kirby is too easy, Mario maker is the same, never played pikmin.
Do not buy Mario strikers, Mario golf, or any game of Mario playing sports, cause lack of content.
Bônus: switch sports and ring fit are great
thanks , i am new to nintenndo, so will play only kirby and botw and mario odyssey as a start for now
Try Hades
Great job Anton!
Thanks, really appreciate it!
Getting a switch oled for my little brother for Christmas. I might get a lite for me too, the games look fun.
Xenoblade 3 needs the first spot imo, such a beautiful and amazing game that actually manage to perfect a system that was already in place...
it didn’t exist 3 months ago
No
Breath of the wild
Is better
Nice list have all of them love my switch
Child: I want to play Call of Duty and more serious games
Man: Give me more Mario games
this comment should have more likes
dang I still need to get Dread and Pikmin but yea very solid list!
Would have to say my list is
1. BOTW
2. Odyssey
3. Ultimate
4. Fire Emblem Three Houses
5. Metroid Dread
6. Luigi’s Manaion 3
7. Animal Crossing New Horizons
8. Sonic Mania
9. Splatoon 3
10. Kirby & Forgotten Land
Surprised that Fire Emblem Three Houses and Bayonetta 2 isn’t on the list and XenoBlade Chronicles Definitive Edition is my Favorite Switch Game of All Time
fire emblem 3 houses aint all that
@@danielmartinez3556 it’s Really Worth Buying a Switch for Fire Emblem Three Houses
Obviously everyone has different tastes but to me 3 houses was amazing. I think this list is really good, I haven't played arceus or Kirby so I think I'd just replace one with 3 houses
I hate both of them. I think this list is almost perfect to my taste
@@BigBossCQCLegend i don’t like the genre. Too repetitive.
Great! Now i gotta first get de switch 😂
Very solid list!
Smash Bros and Mario Kart should've been higher. Luigi's Mansion and Kirby should've been lower.
Zelda Breath Of The Wild is the best game of all time.
TMNT Shredders revenge comes out tomorrow...go ninja, go ninja, go!
I hope the new BOTW allows u to craft weapons, have people fight along side u and have multiplayer co-op, also able don’t let weapons and other items break.
Or add a chest so we can store things in
I agree with you, it's just a fine balance between adding an elegant feature that would be fun versus it becoming a digital chore.
Your list is uniq and good I prefer xeno 2 over 1 and I also would have slid in fire emblem three houses and maybe dragging quest 11 but so many great games on the system hard to make a list with just 10 or even 20
I love this list. Perfect! Do you have any info on thr shadowrun games for the switch?
can't wait when u can start modding this console 🔥🙏
Luckily botw is available on Wii U so you can mod it on there. Can't wait until the switch version is moddable though.
@@dynamax1120 I don't have a wii u, only the wii and switch lmao
but I did mod my 3ds thanks to anton sooo ya
@@Issitbongo me neither. I have a Wii u emulator. I know not everyone can run it though.
@@dynamax1120 my pc can't run shit so emulation ain't gonna cut it for me 😂
Nothing beats Breath of the Wild.
BOTW is just a legendary game. considered to be one of the best pieces of work ever created.. so that coming on top even after 5 years just shows you where it ranks on the all-time pantheon.. same applies for Ocarina on N64.. or FFVII on PS1.. these are generation defining experiences.
botw is overrated imo not that its a bad game. super mario odyssey looks better to me
@@citrusreality64 Yeah everyone likes different stuff. Some people would probably say Smash is the best.
Sad? You do realise that BOTW is the best game ever made on any console? Anything looks small next to it.
@@tor2919 Yeah I pretty much said that. But that doesn't mean we should just be happy it exists and that nothing in the FIVE years since its release has come out to compare.
This was actually a really good video, nice job
You chose Nintendo games only, which makes me think you don't adventure too far from the shore... you should, my friend, there is a whole sea to explore!
1. zelda breath of the wild
2. mario odyssey
3. mario kart 8
4. smash
5. animal crossing
6. splatoon 2
7. kirby
8. fire emblem three houses
9 luigi mansion
10. xenoblade remastered
If I could only pick 10 games to own for a switch collection...
Best list I’ve seen so far, I think terraria and doom belong on this list too.
Good selection i would add Monster Hunter Rise to it aswell. Thanks for the video 👍🏽
I hate monster hunter. I find its controls response very bad and the game too repetitive
@@patogordo1385 to each there own :)
MHR is is great, especially because monster fights a online co-op
I got my 1st switch OLED Bowser fury,super smash, Splatoon,crash bandicoot..Mario kart.
For me personally, I never gotten into any Pokémon games, and I played Luigi mansion and never liked it
Dude you have to play pokemon, I wouldn't start with Legends Arceus though, if your gonna play pokemon on the switch I would 100% play something like Pokemon Sword or Lets go Pikachu, then move onto Legends Arceus, there's no timeliness involved really, so you COULD play any game you want to, but thats my recommendation. Its a really fun franchise.
This means that I would never have obtained the nintendo switch if not for third party games. Still grateful because the switch is the only cheapest handheld that allows a 36 yrs old gamer like me to play interesting third party games
I literally just got a switch today lol, I LOVED my DS so I’m hoping this is just as fun!
What games you have?
Xenoblade chronicles is probably my favourite switch game
@@noah4371 yess splatoon 3 is a must. I also got it recently and i love it. Its better then the first splatoon game and the story is great so far!
@@chrryvrn6733 Thanks for your opinion!
You’re in for a treat when you get BOTW! I wish I could play it for the first time again. The sequel comes out in May and I got a switch specifically for that game.
I have all these games, playing 3D world currently I'm having lots of fun.
Edit: exept for Kirby & the forgotten land
this is my genre now
This is a great channel!!
Astral chain is goated!!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥
Great review . Keep it up bro .
Breath of the wild, kirby and mario odyssey beautiful games
Hooooooooooooooooooly!!!! 2022 is alive and well.
Thanks for Great list of games. You featured some games that I know but never really watched gameplay or anything. I never really liked the pokemon games but the one you showed looks promising. I already have most of the games you showed but I think I will buy pikmin or pokemon...
There’s something special about bowsers fury I’d consider it on my top 5
Top game
Got a lite last week and returned it for the regular switch and I love it
Great video! Ur voice is so relaxing.
I’m on the edge of either Pokémon or Metroid😭
Which Pokémon are you thinking about getting?
Get metroid I got it and I loved it
Metro dread deserves to be pirated
@@MrDoesVoices is Metroid Dread that good?
@@paulrodriguez20 Have you played a Metroid game before? If not, maybe a metroidvania style game? Metroid Dread is a great game, but only if you’re familiar or enjoy that style.
Does the Switch offer enough 2 player co-op games that we could play together?
awesome list! definitely would checkout all of em!
Very nice vid!
I want to buy a Switch, do you have fun when you play online? Is it worth it?
I personally do not like anything on the list, but I do appreciate the effort in making the video. I enjoyed watching the whole 19 mins of it
Even though I wouldn't order them the same way, I have to say we have basically an identical list
Thanks ! i am an old NES guy and am new too Switch.
With a pair of catalogue tickets ($90 thing) , i will claim "Mario Kart" and "Animal Crossing" (or "Splatoon 3" this month)
(i hav bought Switch this month such late, BeCause my 7years nephews wanna me to hav and play Switch well,
so We can play, compete more seriously). Who is Boss.😎
I've had mario maker and Zelda for years. Still have bailrly played either. Maybe I'll try again
actually i have completed quite a huge number of title on switch ....but my list would be different and shorter (must to play on portable and dock)
1.BoTW
2.Mario odessey
3.Hollow knight
4.Witcher 3(patch 3.6 and above)
5.Hades
there are many good games like doom eternal , warface , metroid dread , monster hunter rise , pokemon arceus ...but tbh there arent as optimise as they should be on switch...would you recommend doom eternal on a switch to another friend who has a ps5 and a switch? dont think so ...the list in my opinion should highlight the strong points of switch and of course the game itself....and nothing is gonna beat botw tbh , its on its own league provided the next pokemon game is done properly ( sword and shield is not as good as previous gen and crystal remains the best , arceus is pretty good and a breath of fresh air )....
great list. new player here, what do u think about skyrim for switch?
Got my new switch oled today, looking for some good games
Good vid man
Me having most of those but exclusively playing animal crossing
Awesome vid
Zelda is always on too
The only must haves are oydessy and botw. Smash as well if you have friends to play with but the games old now. Same with mario kart 8. The new zelda and metroid prime 4 if it ever comes back as well.
Best Nintendo games in my opinion
#4 bowsers fury
#3 kirby and the forgotten land
#2 smo
#1 botw
🤔About the game Breath of the wild ,don't be shy to use the walk through because you're going to need it.🧐
I already have most of the games out there on the Wii U... do you think it's worth buying for the Switch?
thanks for sharing!
I wanted to watch this vid to see which games I should download on my next switch bc my current is almost max games but I also watched this to see the next game I should buy
I’m planning on buying Super Mario 3d world
Eyyy this was posted on my birthday :D
