Always appreciates DSB for buying locomotives with the EMD 12/16 567, 16/20 645s. We call them GMs instead of EMDs, but the roar is always a pleasure! Now in Denmark, most trains are electric now. But only diesels and steam can be heard hard working, whereas electrics just sounds like huge modeltrains haha.
Sorry to Alco and GE fans, but dispite the beautiful music those prime movers make....this simply put, is just how trains are supposed to sound. Nothing says a train is coming like the sound of EMD prime movers howling in the distance during the forgotten hours of the night ❤ its an unmistakable sound that excites the hart of every rail fan.
I love hearing the distinctive sounds of those MP15 switchers.

Any video that features EMD locomotives, crossing sounds or no, is GREAT and by no means a "waste of time". GOOD WORK !!

Those NJT engines are GP40X's I believe. The 645 is tuned to run at higher RPMs per notch, and you can just barely hear that.
The #4200s are GP40PH-2Bs

You must blocked ears! If they’re away from the crossing, how are you gonna hear Notch 8? You’ll still hear bells and whistles.
