I'm used to completing furniture makeovers, but can I tackle a whole room in my house?! My dining room is the first room people see when they walk into my home, so I had a lot of fun capturing my new style. To add the best drama, add some faux silk drapes. The bare naked windows with those shades just aren't cutting it. Love everything else you did, the make-overs of the furniture are wonderful.
Everything turned out so beautiful and classy! Changing styles of a room can be so nerve-wracking, but you nailed the modern look! I love that you have so many of your own makeovers in the room. I'll definitely be looking for those lights over the paintings!
Good job. One suggestion is to put a rug under the table to help warm up the room and add color as well.

It turned out beautifully! Very sophisticated and elegant. I'm so glad you did the flat finish! I use it for everything because it just diffuses the light so well. If you get a high quality flat paint, you don't have to worry about scuffs and dirt so much.

Love the bronze wall color. So many people are afraid to use dark colors. With the white it is still light but so much more dramatic. The farmhouse was nice but this is rich and striking.

I loved you dinning room before but now, extra wow! I love the color you chose for the walls the best but that table inspires me.
I just finished painting my dining table and chairs black, so it was great to see yours black, as well. I was glad to see the rechargeable lights! We’ve been looking for a similar solution and these will work great for us.

Oh Christina, love it. You are the reason I am painting out kitchen cabinets doors and to practice, first I did hobby room ( I am sewing and knitting, my husband is drawing a lot). All your furniture makeovers are main learning book. But OMG the wall paint is amazing. We do painting our selves too, we use Wagner's spray gun. Yes, prep is time consuming. Love the lights above the dining table and the art lights works treat. Have simple version of them in the kitchen. Great look of your dining room. Love the style. You did amazing job. Thank you.

I love it! Very much my style. I just did a $9 lamp make over like yours too! Love it! I love how you did a mirror make over, I have one that shape and will have to try now. I think the paint color and white contrast make the biggest difference. Looks fabulous

I did this darkest blue-black paint in my dining room and office/workshop almost a year ago. I’ve never loved a paint more! People flip for it every time they see it for the first time. Your room looks sooooo good. It looks so very sophisticated.

Like the new look but the chairs just do not fit IMHO. I can connect all the dots with the other pieces, but the chairs just do not fit the balance feel of the rest of the room. Love the mirror on the fireplace!
