- Today I'm going to show you how to make one of my favourite Goan chicken recipes. Delicious Chicken Chilli Fry. This is a finger-licking good Chicken Fry recipe Goan style. You'll surely love this dish. Made by frying boneless chicken pieces along with potatoes, onions, and a tasty mix of spices, this dish is a medium spicy and savory treat, perfect for any meal.

Ingredients
250g Boneless Chicken, cut into bite-size pieces
1 large (150g) potato, cut into slightly thick slices
For the marinade
¾ tsp salt
½ tsp ground pepper
½ tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp chilli powder
½ tsp garam masala
1 tsp crushed garlic
1 tsp crushed ginger
1 small onion finely chopped
3 tbsp chopped coriander
1 tbsp oil
1 tbsp tomato ketchup
Other ingredients
2 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp oil
3 green chillies finely chopped
1 tsp cumin seeds
½ tsp salt
2 tsp finely chopped garlic
2 tsp finely chopped ginger
3 medium size onions chopped, thick slices
2 -3 tsp lime juice

I love ❤️ your Delicious recipes & I just came across your Yummy Pav Bhaji recipe 😋 The Easiest, Quickest, shortcut method for boiling vegetables is microwaving them. I wash, peel & chop 5 potatoes into small cubes put them in a microwaveable safe container with a lid slightly open by microwaving them for 5 1/2 to 6 minutes without water! You’ll have soft potatoes easily mashed. Chopped carrots for 3 minutes, peas 🫛 for 1 1/2 minute!
Earlier, I was skeptical & kept checking the vegetables getting cooked in the microwave now I’m a pro 👍

@@user-oz7lq9ln6z , thanks for the love and appreciation. Yes, microwaving is a good option for potatoes. But if you're going to add cauliflower and also french beans and green peas (like I do sometimes) then microwaving without water does not work so well for these veggies, especially if you use full power or even 80% power. Perhaps you use an even lower setting for other vegetables?

Nice dish but ginger garlic hv been put thrice
Thanks for the appreciation, Maria. But I don't know how you concluded that ginger and garlic have been added thrice. These ingredients are added twice. Part of the quantity has been added to marinate the chicken, and the remaining is added directly in the chilli fry. But the total amount of ginger and garlic is the correct amount for the given quantity of chilli fry.

Can you put prawns instead of chicken.
Yes, Linda, you can. Only remember prawns will need just 3-4 minutes to cook. So don't cook them for 10 minutes like we cooked the chicken.
