A neat trick I learned for printed helmets that are exactly your head size is using a hair dryer on its highest setting to heat up the print on certain areas to the point that it’s soft to the touch. So when you put it on it’ll contour to your face shape.
I prefer a hard shell for costumes where the character has a hard shell, cause (at least to me) it feels like what the actual character wears and it feels like I’m really wearing armor like them lol
I just ordered a 3D printed one from etsy (don’t mind my profile picture or username 👀) Edit: I also really like how the latex one looks, it’s probably the most accurate one I’ve seen. May I ask how or where you got it?
The eyes on the latex one looks better if you could make the latex one 3D printed that would be the best helmet
I've been wondering how to do this on a budget. I think I'll print one. Thanks!
What I typically do, is when getting a 3d print, or resin cast mask, is go a size up, it’s better to pad, than it being uncomfortable.
Agreed, even if its just a little bit
