You may call it a luxury house, but it is more like a concrete hive house. There is no garden. There is no view, all windows open to some house on the front or back or the side. I don't know if its asian thing but who wants to live like this in such a crowded space.

USA is so much better. You can get a house this big for well under a million $. House prices in canada are simply ridiculous and unreasonable. BTW my house in india is 4400 sq ft. So it's basically as big as this house.
Canada is a VERY large country. Your generalization is not accurate. This house in another province would cost much less. Only since it is in Brampton it's that expensive. Only GTA and Vancouver area have insane house prices. The rest of the country is not like that.

It's brampton and it costs 2.5 million$ , even if I compare a city like brampton with Los Angeles still Los Angeles is much cheaper than brampton. And population of LA Is 4-5 times higher than brampton. It's pretty obvious that houses are wayyy more expensive in canada than in US.

Plus homes are treated as a business so most immigrants buy 2/3/4 houses resulting in demand is always more than supply . Builders hold back from releasing all lots so demand stays higher and they can charge more money.
