I am a subscriber and I had been watching your videos for a while, before your first house and its construction etc. I was in to real estate too, and was interested in buying a condo for rental purpose. Instead I bought some residential and commercial lots in Austin, Texas. We, in Texas have a very high (at least I think) property taxes. they are anywhere close to 3% - 3.5% of your real home value, which is calculated year over a year. Of course I did not do too bad with my real estate, however no income. Here in US (income tax filed jointly) If you hold your primary home for 5 year of which you stayed in there for at least 2 of the 5 years, then a 500k profit (of course after broker fees, sale costs etc) on your home is not taxed.
Q1) What are your property taxes
Q2) Is there a profit benefit (on taxes) on your primary living home if you sell it. if you bought it for 650k and sell it for 1m do you have to pay taxes on your main home?
Q3) You mentioned 100% increase (4 lac ka ghar 8 lac ho ga ya hai) in how many years? 3 years?

My husband and I are new to Canada here and we are planning to enter the real estate market in 1 or 2years but we lack the financial knowledge required.

I recently sold a detached house in North Vancouver for 25M Canadian dollars.
Realtor I tried to fill details and realtor contacted but he has no listing for pre construction its been month he is saying I am not getting any properties .Do you have any other realtor who can help?
