I had a 1980 model just like this one absolutely loved it.
My first dirt bike was a 80 XR80. Had a lot of good times on that bike.
Omg. 😃 I am 17 years old and had two of these 80s. One was an 81 model, the other being an 82. I gathered parts off of the 81 model to replace some parts on the 82. That was my first ever refresh I completed by myself. I had to end up selling the bikes though. Wish I still had them😎😎🥲

I had this same bike, Christmas 1979 😁My buddies had RM80 and YZ80 but always wanted to trade me and ride the XR! It would climb hills their bikes were too squirrelly to climb.
I wish I lived closer I would love to go meet the crew and ride with your family. I own A 1994 cr 125 if I ever decide to sell it this is where I want it to go what a awesome TH-cam channel.
My first bike was an ‘82 XR100. It was a great bike to learn on! Nice and solid, always started🤘
The XR the one bike that everyone at the track has to ride. If you couldn't wheelie ur buddies XR u went home in shame. 2 funnest bikes u can own ... an XR anything and a Buell.
It was my first dirt bike my dad brought it home one day from work in a box and we rebuilt it

That’s my childhood right there! The bike I always wanted (starting when my friend got an XR75 in 1974) but never got... I have a 1986 now in bad shape awaiting restoration...
Some of my best memories of my childhood were on that same bike. Mine didn’t look that nice though, rode it into the ground!

So I was on a whitesheet magazine and I seen an ad of a 1980 honda xr 80 for 650 is that a good price and are the parts hard to find to fix it ,thats if it needs work done
