@GorillamansGarage actually after a few flights I'm pretty impressed with the quality of the videos and it Flys great, but I think I'm going to return it. The dji air 3s does more of what I need, and it's only 8 times the cost 😡. Oh well, the potensic doesn't have obstacle avoidance, I don't like that follow me has to be so high and the air3s can keep up with a motorcycle. Gotta do what I gotta do❗️

I contemplated purchasing one of Potensic's non-gimbled drones instead opting for the Potensic Atom with the 3-axis gimble, super glad I did. I also recently purchase the DJI Neo and it's video stabilization/usability (IMHO) is far superior from that of the Atom SE/LT, yup a single axis gimble too.
I agree.. also if GoPro and Osmo etc.. can stabilize video .. why not in a drone... remember... the Parrot anafi is only a 2 axis and their predecessor the Bebop2 was no gimbal and it was revolutionary. Seems in the past 6-7-8 years , things have not really developed.

This drone is not great camera wise, but for those just looking for something cheap and fun, it's great. I get decent range (higher altitude flight gives farther range, I've gotten mine to about a mile away in the city) It's very easy to fly, I love it. It does have the flaw of camera quality, but I'm not concerned about having the highest quality video and pictures
This is a let down, after the Atom built up a lot of good will in the community. What were they thinking of with that camera and lack of a gimbal or good EIS on the LT model. Yeah here's the thing. You will not get another quadcopter as good as this one for the price period. Also when you get to the top you should always push your shutter button one time go left and right forward and backwards and level yourself out then when you start to do these things everything looks great unless it's super windy he already said it was windy it's going to blow the camera around. It's attached to the quadcopter.😂😂😂
I never used to film in 4k. Thought it was (and still do) a waste of time and effort in post editing. I do 2,7k now as , sometimes I was to align the framing a little. 1080p is really good for 90% of viewers. I used to always only ever shoot in 1080p.
For another $100, you're much better off getting the Potensic Atom with the 3-axis gimbal. Night and day better video with a level horizon. The range is also better than what your LT seems to get from your property. No reason to get the LT at all just to save a hundred bucks with an unusable drone in the process. I've taken some nice video with my Potensic Atom, and it's pretty reliable and easy to use.
If they were the same price maybe you are correct. Having a 1/3" camera is an achillies heal regardless. Fimi really gave a huge uppercut to the market with the Fimi Mini 3 SE for $199 or less. Not taking anything away from Potensic on their programming of the camera. It is by far the best result from a very small camera. Less than optimal lighting is an issue though. Many were hopeful that the next "Atom" would have been an upgrade. Oh... and for $100 more.. that opens up a whole new collection of competitors that the Atom can not be judges against. But again... if the ATOM was cheaper .. we would have bought it a long time ago.
With the newest update from Potensic, my 3-axis video got a lot better looking, but there is still a fair amount of noise in it, especially flying over heavily wooded areas. However, here is my problem with Potensic. Their frame is built very weak where the arms attach to the main frame. If you compare Potensic to DJI, you will see DJI is built much stronger. I clipped a tree branch and my Atom fell about 6 feet. It broke the frame where where the rear arms attach. The hole the arm pins go through split in half. I contacted Potensic. They will not sell you a new frame. DJI does sell and will sell you a frame. Potensic said it is too complicated and too dangerous for future operation if a customer to were to replace the main frame of the drone. Me gluing it is probably more dangerous, but what do I know???? I do know I won't buy another Potensic after talking to their customer support. I do know these are disposable due to lack of availability of parts.
I just threw away a potensic drone the D85. The batteries stopped charging, I reached out to got NO HELP! They have terrible customer service and these are not quality drones! I would Never in my life buy anything from them. Since I went with the Dji mini 4k and for the price, there is no reason to waste money on Potensic. Their products and service are the same. ❤
I wrote them and told them you are wasting money you already have an se you don't need an Lt you should be making a pro version for serous photos and video to compete against the other drones out there, pointless drone

I have a few videos on the 3x. It is good... my only issue now is the price is a little high and the features are very limited.

For the money.. it is a poor choice!

The LT does not have the same chips as the Potensic SE or 4K. There is some serious flight issues with the LT. Don't buy it.
