THIS is the video I've been looking for since I started being interested in korean language. I've been hearing these sentence endings a lot in drama a tv shows and I undestood the meaning by the facial expression, the tone of the voice or the context, but having you sum them all up it was very helpful!
I LOVE how many layers of meaning there are behind a korean sentence. Such an interesting and fun language to learn! thank you very much 선생님

Adding 죠 at the end often helps me express what im saying like how i am in English.since i feel like its very similar to how we say "eh?" At the end of sentences! Haha

Watching a lot of kdramas and korean variety shows definitely help me understand these various endings even better. Sometimes, I can use a phrase in a proper situation (or at least it's what I think it is) without knowing the grammar formula. For example, "그렇긴 한데", it appears a lot, and I often used it before I learned the "~기는 해요" and "~는데요" ending.

    Sir Hyunwoo,
    my name is mike
been absorbing korean language for about 2.5 years
come to think of it, it may even have been yourself who inspired me to learn the hungel alphabet,
I kind of learned it in approximately 4 hours. (the sounds of the letters that is) except the doubles and patchim
I do enjoy the process. probably much slower at it than others my age[61] currently
My goal is to speak with korean people who reside in the USA.
number 1 is to make them feel welcome to be here.
I'm pretty certain they learn some of our culture but maintain much as they can of their own as well.
I think I can say I absorb at least 1 hour of korean a day. sometimes more, usually not much less.
I think I'm in need of say, saome kindergarten to maybe 2nd grade sentence material and reading structure.
do you have some or a book in that type of material to recomand????

My issue is that my brain doesn't register the time to use all these, or most of them. In the languages I've learned thus far, verb endings have very precise uses that are often mandatory, and convey a purely grammatical meaning. I never forget to put the Korean tense endings and I could confidently use the progressive verb form. But I forget all about these intensifiers and contextual endings because I've never had to use such a variety of them in any previously known language. Not only is my vocabulary lacking, my Korean probably feels dry even if I form a few sentences. Oddly enough, I am a high B level at least in terms of theoretical understanding of grammar.
