I own a headset myself, and this game is absolutely mental. I got a real plank of wood, around 6cm thick and I chose the most crooked one they had at the DIY. Put it on two rubber tiles so it doesn't scratch the floor, with added wobbliness as a bonus. Then I get the lid of the crate I use to transport my gear in or sometimes even a fan. Wait until the elevator opens, then start flapping or turn on the ventilator. I have had several people exclaiming 'Oh no, I can even feel the wind!', abolutely hilarious. Have them get on on socks, watch them feel the edge of the plank on both sides with their toes, almost desperately gripping it, adding to the feeling of being on a board. Then put a virtual pie at the end of the plank, and ask them to pick up the entire plate when they get there. The trick is that when they do, often pieces fall off in the depth below, providing yet another confirmation that it is indeed a long way down. You cannon imagine the power of this simulation, especially with all these props; it's awesome!

Oh I did something like that at one place. It was a shooter game on top of a skyscraper, and I had to walk on this plank high above the city. The thing about it was that they put the plank a few inches below the platform where you play on, so I stuck my foot out super scared I was gonna fall.
That looks really fun, and rather terrifying. They should have people on an actual plank about 2 feet above some gymnastics mats, so you actually can feel the wood and need to jump off it.
