As a bike rider of 50 years before I was disabled 3 years ago, I must say that your RG500 sounds absolutely fantastic especially when you cog it down and give it the beans, really enjoyed riding with you and thanks for sharing, you made an old disabled biker very happy.
Hi. Your comment has made my year !!! I create these videos to share the joy and experience of what I think is a fantastic machine. My teenage dream of making it what it is today came true. So it's brilliant to hear that you enjoyed this video. If you ever get down my way, maybe you can visit and see it in person. All the very best, Richard
. So happy that you're enjoying the channel. Can't wait for next Spring. I hope to get my Skoal bandit built. Then 2 to abuse. Yesterday, I really appreciated what a fantastic bike of fun this was. I see so many mantle piece examples. Even the start ups are idle tickover vids. As you'll know, to appreciate this bike, it's needs to be at 10,000 rpm. 👍 Thanks for watching
By the way thanks for for making these videos I was offered a rg blue and white one in 1992 for 1500 quid I am just a farm worker down in Cornwall I got married the same year so I was skint now I’ve missed the boat big time every year they get more expensive and we never see them in Cornwall takecare mate regards mark
You are one of a handful of RG owners that actually gets out and rides it. The static videos of RG500s idling are so boring and in no way captures the experience that your videos do. I don't understand why so many Gamma owners aren't riding their bikes..I hope you keep posting videos.
Thanks so much for your comments. TOTALLY agree !! This is why I decided to resurrect this bike over buying a brand new, modern one. There is just so many things that make this the unique experience that it is. I know quite a few people who have beautiful Gammas but in their museum garages !! Why? Money!! Obviously using these bikes, starts the maintenance and rebuild clock. Apart from the risk. Always a risk and throwing one of these down the road, may mean a real challenge getting replacement parts. I have taken it easy, as a fear is ever scratching my lovely titanium pipes but that said, can't wait to do lots more videos. Sadly, when doing this video, my camera was off, for the biggest, most epic wheelie to date. Gutted! As soon as it stops raining, I want to set up a roadside camera and do some flat out fly-bys, hopefully to capture the amazing sound of this at 12,000 rpm !! Enjoy and catch you soon. 👍

Congratulations great machine!!! That noise is beautiful.

Thank you! I'm so pleased that you enjoyed the video. I'm ordering a better microphone to capture the noise even better. Hope to see you soon. 👍
It's been so wet, damp and cold lately, really wanted to get out on such a super, sunny Saturday...♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Love your vids enjoying your rg and not just hiding it away

Are you going to do a build series I hope so
@@MarkSpry-s5s do you mean throughout the build?
Yea that would be great or at least like you did when you rebuilt the red and black one like a update on progress sort of thing just an idea

I was only doing some maintenance to stop the plugs oiling up officer 🤣🤣
Of course... it's only a small, 500cc, 2 stroke. Not like those big, noisy, fast, superbikes. 😉
