Nokta I have not used but I hear they are great machines. To be fair to Dr Otek, I complained to them 3 years are buying this machine, that I thought it was not good and they viewed this video. They then sent me a brand new machine, BUT admitted that as a beginner machine, it may have the same issues. Therefore not good for a serious metal detectorist. This is more a child's toy. Good to hear that you have not wasted your money. With Christmas coming up, sadly I am sure there will be 100s of people caught by going budget, when for a little more, they'll save money in the long run. I upgraded to the Equinox 800. Currently on sale in the UK, with several coils for around £650. This machine has found me well over £5,000 in gold and silver, so fantastic machine. Good luck with your new purchase and good luck out there enjoying a brilliant hobby (With a good machine!)

YES!! Still good as new, after daily use from a family of 4. The touch panel does get dirty, so requires the occasional wipe down, but no we've had no problems at all with it. Obviously the smart phone connection is something we just don't use. It's a case we throw everything, every evening, clean by the morning. Thanks for watching and asking!!

Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed a snippet of fun. A bit of an unfair comparison, just found it fun, that you can see that one guy giving it handfuls of throttle 😁 All smoke and no go!! I believe the GT750 was around 60bhp, so nearly half that of the RG that I own at 108 bhp. 250 kg (550 LBS) vs 175 kg (386 lbs), so just demonstrates the progress from the production bikes of the '70s to the '80s.

@2stroketimebomb I've tried a few different ones, but Mark Dent absolutely swears by Motul 710. My oil pump is set slightly over standard, as I always think mine doesn't smoke a lot, compared to many others I've seen.

@191usinger4 I'm only used to bhp but I think 60 vs 110, but I've discovered its all down to rider and gearing 👍

Mine has SS pipes with Ally cans, and Rich has Ti pipes and Carbon cans.... Which one sounds better? TBH I think mine is a bit noisy LOL

Thanks so much. Been so busy with the metal detecting!! Plus, I need to visit Nova transmissions for them to have yet another look at my problematic, squeaking dry clutch. Finally, I don't want to venture too far on my 14/44 gearing, as it's so high revving now. Flat out before you know it. Terrible for anything larger than a single track A road. It was my sense of humour! Sorry! Sadly, the sensor on the speedo became loose causing an issue. As you'll see the speedo went crazy. Luckily I have a speedo on my phone, as a back up. I've ordered the new sensor and cable, £30 delivered.

@ThomasDoubting5 Cheeky bugger lol, I had a black water cooled (rz350) with a nervous front end, and a white red water cooled (great bike, loved it) full fairing (rz350 fn)., but the RG was next level power/weight ratio and fun factor..

​@JohnSmith-sj2dk always dreamed of the fn version. I had the bikini faired 350ypvs, but back then, one with a full fairing was, in my mind, a proper race bike. Cracking bikes, but as you say the RG has that next level of 'oomph'. A standard RG is quite tame. This one at 110bhp is just right for power to fun ratio. ❤ thanks for watching.
