I think that these guys are doing a great job at this! I would love to have my Jeep done by them if I were anywhere close to Texas. Keep up the great work.
Brother thank you for the tip, it’s something so simple and efficient that we would have never figured out without your help!!!!! Thank you Sir 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I love the way the car came out. I like the way you painted the plastic black I can see that same car just like that but the color red with tinted windows
30 years of experience at anything....doesn't make you a better human being....if you don't like it just don't watch it is very simple....and a big thumbs up for you and much respect for encouraging this young boys keep it up!!!👍👍👍
Don’t pay any attention to the haters, keep doing what you’re doing. The best teacher is hands-on experience. You learn more from your failures then you do your successes.
I wish you guys were down the street ,man you guys do awesome work. Spray paint skills are good between the the two of you. I live in Cali I just did a patch job on my truck. I know the hard work it takes so all the not educated person with negative comments keep to your self. i would pay for you guys to Raptor paint my truck anytime, keep up the hard work and as you master your skills you will own your quality of work!!!!!! I was born in Texas also....
Screw the nasty comments. I live in Texas, and have me a 2003 Jeep Liberty I am about to Raptor myself. If i lived closer to the Rio Grande Valley, you would be doing it for me. I have already Raptored an old 1977 CJ7, and it is SUPER COOL. Awesome work little Homies!
I think these young men are doing a great job. I have watched a few of your videos and if haven't seen any of the vehicles that didn't come out looking much better than they started. Keep up the good work and God bless you.
Put the foil the long way plenty of overlap will save you time and product. The 30 year veteran who was bashing you probably doesn’t understand the product and the superior adhesion of it. It lays on textured so is VERY forgiving and a completely different animal than enamel. You guys are doing great and you are good kids. Keep it up.
I've watched a couple of your videos now and gotta say I'm impressed. 44 years old and just starting to get into car repair, paint etc. You guys do great work, and I'm taking inspiration off your xj project to do mine this summer. Keep it up!
It sucks but the negative comments are going to come, it’s part of putting anything on the Internet and best thing you can do is ignore them! Don’t even give them the time of day to respond. You all are doing a great job, earning subscribers and soon will be making money off TH-cam as well! And on top of it all, you all will only get better at your craft!
Thank you sir, we are trying to do our best and honestly, we are figuring out that what you said is true, we are getting a steady stream of cars, the customers check their vehicles before they leave and they seem to be satisfied with the work. That’s what we are focusing at instead of the negativity that’s some people post
I’m addicted to diy videos. It’s dope seeing young men start their own business. And seeing their father guide them and encourage them is something else I love to see...good job guys. Don’t worry about the haters or nay sayers.
Thank you sir, we get a lot of encouragement from a lot of viewers and there is the occasional pessimist, but we understand that there are people who feel good about saying negative comments rather than helping us if they see we are still learning. Either way, we try to do our best 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I was just watching this video and heard you mentioned about the negative comments. Please do not let these people get to you they are just jealous in most cases. As far as 30 years experience yeah you’re right he doesn’t have very good life experience. He needs to learn to be a better human being first. I think you guys are awesome I watch all your videos and I’m getting the confidence to possibly tackle my jeep myself having watched your videos. I look at it this way, if I screw it up I can just bring it to you guys to fix it for me! Lol hey listen once again I love your videos please keep them all coming and I wish you great luck in the expansion of your business
well done, gents! i appreciate your approach to teaching (us viewers) exactly what is required and the steps needed for these projects. i also love seeing how involved these youngsters are in their work. you've set a great example! keep it up!
I like the aluminum foil trick, but may I suggest that to save even more turn the foil length wise and it will wrap more area and save you even more money. That two tone looks great. That is what I want to do to my Toyota 4Runner.
A smart man once said it all starts (WITH YOU) Keep up the good work 💪🏼🔥. & for them Haters I say this.... I Rather see a young man work hard than be on the streets committing crimes, stay blessed and positive 🙏🏼
Lol, 30 yr vet. He must suck if he hating some young positive latinos getting money. Product hasn't even been out that long so he damn sure doesnt have the experience using the product. I'm a mechanic and have some years of body work and paint behind me as well. Just turned 40 yeaterday. I've been working on cars with my pops and brothers for 20yrs. So you can say I'm a 20yr vet and you guys are doing great and getting better and better each video. You got my support. Keep up the great work. Learning is hands on and your progress awesome.
I am getting ready to do my truck, you guys helped alot good job young men, and for the haters stick to what you know and let these kids do their thing, they are learning and teaching others how to diy. Good job guys, keep up the good work!
Keep it up you're doing just fine I've seen shops and painters that claim years of experience and they don't put in half the amount of effort to do a job as well as you guys so remember that the more you get work the better your skills will become and your honesty and hard work will pay off!👍👍👍👍
Don't listen to negative comments guys you're awesome and I'm so proud of you seeing you so young and working hard And please don't let one " experienced " person make you stop or slow down because you have the other 99.9 % with you so keep up the great job and be positive all the time This is for you guys not for making an old unhappy man happy ok ...Gad bless you..
Thank you for your encouragement and advice sir, we will continue trying to perfect our skills and not ignoring but learning from all experiences 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
No negative comments here. New subscriber. I just got a big chevy silverado 2500hd duramax. The guy spray painted black over the original dark blue. I think i have learned enough from these kids im willing to tackle on my own and paint it blue in the raptor. I like the finish. Keep up the good work guys!!
You're doing a good job. Remind me of me when I was our age. Keep honing your skills. An old trick for covering tires is to use large garbage bags. Cheap and easy. Split one side and slide over the tire. Remember, the small details is what makes a good job last (like making sure the clear coat is sanded). Do that detail with everything. You'll have results that stand the test of time. Again, good job at doing something. For the guy who bashed your work. Screw him. You're learning.
I've watch a lot of raptor painting vids, but that foil trick, was something that I didn't expect to come across. Plus I'm planning on Raptor Lining my 80 Series Land Cruiser. Keep it up guys, love your work...😁👍
I admire the prep work effort. Makes the biggest difference and it shows in your finished product. People will always criticize. Take it with a grain of salt and a shot of tequila.
As always u guys do a great job.......enjoy seeing the finished product. I bought the kit back in May but got to busy and didn't spray my Jeep so planning on doing it this spring. Hope mine turns out as well as your jobs. Also........to the guy that has 30 years experience and keeps running your mouth.........get a life and leave these guys alone.
It's good to see a couple of young gentlemen that want to earn their own way instead of thinking that they are owed something, and people should be proud of you for doing that, not trying to run you guys in the dirt, shame on them!
That turned out so well guys..! I love the way the black and green stand off from each other, it really sets it off, I totally dig this..! You guys are really inspiring me to do my rally car project, so awesome guys..!
Hey guys just want to say I enjoy watching your vids! And don't worry about the "30 year veteran" I'm sure he had to start somewhere too. But i know ppl who have 25 year experience in other fields but there work is not great. So keep learning and try to do a better job every time. It looks good! I think ppl need to understand these finish are not for car show. In my opinion there very usable ever day working vehicles that are excellent alternative to reg paint. Plus they look cool! Job job guys, keep it up!
You guys are doing an awesome job! 2 young men who have a passion for making vehicles look great, you should be proud of yourselves ! God bless you 🙏❤️
To all who Bash these young men getting out and making Honest money, doing something productive and helping other people out. Let this sink in Haters Moral Compass is pointing in the wrong direction. I appreciate and thank these guys for teaching me and showing us all these videos, keep them coming guys your followers are growing slowly. God Bless you and the camera Dude.
Good job boys. I wish I started working on cars when I was your age. Learn to never cut corners and always treat your customers with the outmost respect with your work and you’ll make it far.
Good job, I been looking at your videos and I like how you kids wanna learn and get the job done...Im thinking bout doing this to my Explorer, I wish u guys the Best..U guys are doing a Bad Ass job keep your head up stay POSITIVE and forget them IGNORANT ppl...👍💯.
Please ignore the haters, your going to have some people who are just plan jealous. I've posted some of your work on my Twitter page. Your all doing a fantastic job, thank you for your ideas and fine professional work. Please keep it up, many blessings.
You have a lot of labor in your work dont under cut your hard work you are worth more than that good job you could build a heck of a business I wish you were close to Colorado I would have hired you good job dont worry about haters I got lots of rude comments on my raptor paint job too but lots of good.
Great job guys 👍 👏 another good tip that can help is wetting the floor so you won't pick up dust with the compressor seen it in another TH-camrs video but other than that keep up the good work
Very satisfying watching the spray going on. You young men are gonna go far, keep at it and soak up all the knowledge you can. Lookin forward to more videos! Stay positive brothers, work hard and you'll have a great life ahead!
Keep up the great work and don’t worry about negative comments cause from what I see you guys are proud of your work and it shows in the quality you put into every job !🤙
Try using cling wrap or a roll of shrink wrap too instead of the aluminum foil... it works on the engine bay to to cover odd shaped items to not over spray it.
You guy's are great. Your doing something positive. THe negative commentator probably sits at home with so much time on his hands, he never gets anything done.
Good job guys I’ve done my Tacoma, I have the adjustable texture gun and have found it to be really nice to spray a fine texture on the truck and a really aggressive texture on the fender flares and bumpers , two tone of course wish I could share a picture to show what I’m talking about
I recommend spending the extra money on Upol vari-nozzle gun. You can dial in the texture from ultra fine to coarse for consistent results everytime without having to fiddle with different PSI. The gun that comes with the kit is junk, it's prone to getting clogged which results in inconsistent texture. It ends up splattering and spitting big blobs. Also, I suggest not spraying the "back wash"...toss the last 5-10% of the bottle and start with a fresh one. By the time you get to the bottom of the bottle, the hardener is already setting and doesn't flow as smoothly. You can check some of the stuff I've done featured on Raptor's Instagram under the same username.
what a great job you guys did on that Jeep!! That came out sweeet!! Nice to see young people learning a trade to make it into a career!! Especially mi Latinos!!
You guys good but a tip you guys should wet the floor lest dust and trash that will stick to the paint on some light color cars like the Yukon you guys did
I'm doing my daughters liberty the same. No one knows it all just do the best work you can. Everyone starts somewhere. Forget the negative bs and keep making videos
Since I'd like to do this for my jeep as well, you guys hopefully will come back here periodically and see our suggestions, like doing a 99-04 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, the ones with the two-toned cladding along the bottom of the doors, as well as the bumpers in Raptor liner. That's the style that I have and would like to see how it's done "Un-professionally" by some real guys trying to help people. Thank you for making this video and keep up the great work! Subbed! 👊🏾👊🏾✌🏾
I watch all of your videos. You guys do a great job. And you get better with every video. I have a pickup I plan to raptor. If it wasn't a 700 mile drive I would hire you in a second.
Hey Brian, thanks for the support brother, we are glad we meet your expectations, and if there is any questions you may have, email us and we can try to help you out!!!!!! RAPTOR ON BROTHER 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Instead of sanding the whole car, you can use a maroon scotchbrite pad, it scuffs the paint the same, lots of bodyshops use it to prep parts before paint. I'd only use the sander on the really bad areas, like peeling clearcoat or whereever you need to featheredge the paint smooth. It'll save you guys so much time, i get a bucket of water, add dawn soap and scuff the whole car, your prepping and cleaning that way. Get you some tack cloths, they are cheap, they pick up dust before and overspray, i saw you using your hand to wipe away dust or overspray in another video. And use wax and grease remover, instead of lacquer thinner for wiping before you paint. You really only need adhesion promoter on plastic parts, not metal. Props to you young guys staying busy and out of trouble, and making a lil extra cash
You guys are doing a great job !!!!! Keep up the good work and look into getting the new variable gun from raptor liner and offer your customers a wide range of texture!!!!
Hey you guys did a great job . Don’t ever give the jealous fake keyboard professionals a thought.. keep posting the videos guys ... a little tip as well as is news paper I’ve used a lot if I’m running out of masking paper I used to get the free paper in the morning and whatever I didn’t use I had masking for the day ... just found the channel can’t wait for the journey
You guys are rocking it for your age, what kind of air compressor do you use? Like the green! Try a X across the paper to support for strength, what air pressure?
Hey there uncle Chester I have a truck one year later hell of a hail storm tennis ball size little damage not bad skipped a step on sanding the Chrome good other other than that I read it it came out good
Hey guys great job..... just a lil tip at the when y’all showing the good job y’all did on people’s vehicles just always remember respect their privacy and try to hide the license plates when y’all are showing the finished product to us viewers. And the customers will respect you more for that.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS
Vehicle turned out really good. You have my support and follow. Keep doing your thing and people are always going to hate and have something negative to say. Just ignore them and keep up the good work
Mate you don’t have to take all the clear coat off, as long as it sanded good and no shiny patches it will work, to be fair though I wouldn’t go any finer then 240grit
Great job.....I love seeing younger guys being productive in a positive way..... honing skills. Keep it up.
Thank you for the support brother, 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
🤣no skil this guys
I think that these guys are doing a great job at this! I would love to have my Jeep done by them if I were anywhere close to Texas. Keep up the great work.
Glad the foil tip worked good for you!!!! Thank you for mentioning me in your video!!!!
Brother thank you for the tip, it’s something so simple and efficient that we would have never figured out without your help!!!!!
Thank you Sir 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I use foil all the time for masking off hoses and wiring, works great.
Anyone close to ohio???
I’ve now watched all of your videos and feel almost confident to do my forester! What an amazing team y’all are! Great job gentlemen!
I love the way the car came out. I like the way you painted the plastic black I can see that same car just like that but the color red with tinted windows

You don’t need to be a Professional to do these thing this is how every one starts out keep up the good work
Just wished u popped the little dent out out on the bumper b4 spraying but good job 👍
Thinking the same thing, heat the bumper and pop that dent out
I believe the boiling water trick works well in plastic. However may not be safe.
Dents=memoriers
Put the foil the long way plenty of overlap will save you time and product. The 30 year veteran who was bashing you probably doesn’t understand the product and the superior adhesion of it. I love how you guys work. I only wonder if you covered the radiator and oil coolers...? Hope so the Raptor liner will prevent proper cooling...
Good job buddy , leave those kids alone ,keep up the good work

Hey guys great job..... just a lil tip at the when y’all showing the good job y’all did on people’s vehicles just always remember respect their privacy and try to hide the license plates when y’all are showing the finished product to us viewers. And the customers will respect you more for that.. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK GUYS
Vehicle turned out really good. You have my support and follow. Keep doing your thing and people are always going to hate and have something negative to say. Just ignore them and keep up the good work
Thank you sir we didn’t expect so much negativity but we will keep trying
I think the young men there are doing a great job I live in south Caroline if I could I would get them to do my tracker 2001 God bless all of you
Mate you don’t have to take all the clear coat off, as long as it sanded good and no shiny patches it will work, to be fair though I wouldn’t go any finer then 240grit
looks great, a very good job guys !
Don't listen to the haters. You have inspired me to do my jeep in the spring. Keep them coming👍🎃😎
How many bottles of liner did it take to spray the whole vehicle
What air psi do you guys use for the finer coating...
