I just want to express how much I love this channel. It bridges the gap between fitness, anime, and food. Definitely going to be using your cookbook during my bodybuilding prep.
Seeing the way ChefPK embraces these challenges AND the way these communities embrace him with warmth and excitement? It does mt heart good. I love the drive to learn and the passion to teach displayed in these videos.
Hearing from your other videos about how much effort it took to train and edit for this video built up some serious hype and definitely paid off, I'm really happy for you that you got to experience it and share it with everyone. Keep it up chef!
I'll always remember that first episode Where he was wondering why soma was wearing a dirty rag, a few episodes later he is getting excited for the head band.
1. Your determination is as amazing as ever. 2. I've been training this year about 5-6 times a week. Just some squats, sit ups and push ups, not anything to the level you do for the video's, but this one really pumps me up to train more and more. 3. Ramadan is soon so I'm gonna need some more recipes and thanks to you, I have some to try now
Shoutout to your amazing wife! Bless her for her patience and her love of you and food. You 2 together are fantastic! 💜 And her camera handling has continued to improve throughout the growth of your channel! I'm terrible at remembering names, but please give her a massive hug for all of her hard work, too. Edit: RACHEL!! I'll get better at remembering.
Tell me why I teared up watching this 😭 This was such an awesome watch… love the dedication you put into this challenge. Your performance was awesome.. so inspiring!
I love the fight scene with Toji that you trained for. Your video came as a recommendation. What a great experience! I'm glad I watched it . I've subscribed to your channel and look forward to see what lies ahead.
Dude... I've been doing jujitsu for about 3.5 years, and I still havent been able to nail hand placements for regular bo staff. The fact that you were able to reach this level with a tri-sectional in just a few days is incredible to me. You rocked it, and you should be very proud of yourself. Thank you for sharing this journey with us. ❤
The only thing you didn't do is getting your girlfriend pregnant, naming your son megumi and then leaving said mother and son alone to go retrieve milk to only die to a man named Gojo later on
well technically his “girlfriend” was his wife & his wife died when megumi was a baby leaving toji heartbroken because he LOVED his wife dearly, which lead him down a dark rode to gambling & acting the way he did to megumi & leaving him to gojo because he knew gojo could take better care of megumi than he could & also so megumi wouldn’t be involved with the zenin clan & be mistreated like toji was, he did not want that for his son, so he cared in his son way, clearly not the best way but that’s the only way he knew how… sorry for the ramble btw
What a video. Being someone who trained these kinds of things back as a kid, what a trip down memory lane, made me miss performing with the bo staff so much more than usual lol Incredible work, chef. Keep playing with your food :)
Kinda sad that i could not join in on the kickstarter to both support you but also to get the book as you sadly don't send to my country (Norway), well such is life and i'll just have to wait and see if it go true and i can buy in IRL instead but still you keep on doing the good stuff, teaching us all the best way to cook and the good love of food from anime's and manga's
This looks so cool! Such a shame that more 'exotic' languages and cultures are not available in my country, but it's amazing to see others try them out! You had really good coaches too, getting outside in the cold just to make sure you had everything down perfectly, I mean you obviously put it a lot of effort too! Great video, the meals looked amazing I got so hungry halfway haha.
Nice video!!!!! For years I have played with the idea of having a cooking youtube channel kind of in between babish, wisseman and yours, but the distinctive will be that I might mix english and spanish (not really spanglish), but I definitely know that I wouldn't be able to have the discipline you have when doing this type of videos. Keep it up man
I'm not familiar with Kung fu, but I did some Tae Kwon Do, and we had stuff similar to the movements you were doing in the first class (similar idea, very different moements). You are actually doing better than most begginers I saw, doing slow first is the right mindset and if you are just starting, you will always get corrected by a good teacher, you can't see yourself in third person so is pretty hard to nail movements by seeing someone doing them.
I love that you put yourself in these situations and experiences! You’re such an inspiration. Do you have any tips for making onigiri with filling stay together chef? Love this and very stoked for the new book!
I am so happy for you and proud of you. Sorry about the leg pain you had a lot of determination and passion not a lot of people have that so congrats 👏👏👏👏👏👏🎉. Say hi to Gandalf.😺
basically using the staff is like learning to ride a bike, if you look down and get scared it'll mess up, the more you try without fear the better you'll get til it just clicks
I've literally, but unknowingly... err, subconsciously, been looking for something like this! Thanks for spying on me youtube, you win this time! Happily subbed dude! I'm at the fitness part of my weight loss journey so I'm sponging up as much as I can. And the whole Anime linkage is making it REALLY ideal to get too, and know where, I want to be.
While it was more Toji weapon training than eating like him (he ate dollar food, vending machine junk, the cheapest kind cause he's always broke lol) it's really cool to see you progress with the training. Hope your injuries have healed
I wonder if you paired the Toriyaki (I guess that's a chicken Takoyaki) with Salmon or Tuna fillets, how much better would it be + that it might be closer to Takoyaki in flavor
Happy belated birthday Chef, at this point you've done countless different trainings and I'm curious (before you answer all of them) which would you want to continue with and why? Also which do you feel you made the most progress with given your limited time with each?
I REALLY enjoyed this one, and hoping to continue this year :) Most progress was probably Ichigo. It was less loves to learn so I could hone in on the few things I needed.
Get your copy of my new book and I'll sign it
How many people point out how many different thumbnails you make for one video? Also love your videos thank you for teaching me how to cook
you don't ship to Australia 🥺🥺
Only 2 replys? Lemme fix that (srry cringe lol)
can i draw you? like fanart?
Nah man, to get the TRUE Toji experience, you have to have a child, sell him, and forget you had a kid in the first place.
