The real victims in catfishing are the people whose photos have been stolen. The fact that a random person thinks they are in a relationship with you and you have absolutely no clue is terrifying.
In older videos on this channel the people whose pictures were stolen agreed to talk to the scam victims with the Scamfish Team to try and help them accept that they were being scammed. It never turned out well and I'm glad they no longer involve the real victims in the process. It was just so cringe to hear them talking with their crush and actually thinking that the real person would pick up where the scammer left off. One woman turned into a legitimate stalker with the guy whose photos were stolen having to move and change phone numbers. I can't remember which videos those were, but they were posted about a year ago.

One woman turned into a legitimate stalker with the guy whose photos were stolen having to move and change phone numbers. I can't remember which videos those were, but they were posted about a year ago.
