- I liked the Diawa Arid X spinning rod so much that I got the baitcasting rod as well and I am loving it. In this video I talk about why I enjoy this rod and show some evidence of what it can do. If you are looking for an inexpensive baitcasting rod, this is a good one.

Excellent review, and the best demonstration is seeing how it loads up on a hook set, and how it handles with a fish on the end of the line. Thanks for kicking the tires on that test drive, haha.

Most of my spinning reels are Daiwa and love the quality of their products

Great review on the Daiwa baitcaster. Most of my spinning reels are Daiwa and love the quality of their products. Love the bend and flexibility of that rod, great for that type of fishing.

Good review bro! Just bought the same rod but thought it was a little too whippy for what I wanted! Seems to work good for spinner sits chatterbaits jigs etc.! Kinda had a hard time with a Texas rigged work though, hard to feel the bait while working that thang! But awesome video.
