Malinda I agree with you. I hope the people living there appreciate the film history of their area. Some of us out there really appreciate such things!
Malinda Stadter They usually do. I know in Vegas the people always know when I go up and ask about it. They’re usually really cool and give me a lil tour.
imagine owning the house from Halloween then looking out your window one day and seeing a guy in a Michael Myers costume that would be fucking terrifying
What's cool is Halloween and Nightmare on Elm Street 84 , were filmed in the same neighborhood . The Doyle house is only like a street or two away from the Elm Street house . Guessing because of Halloween is prob why Wes Craven chose that area for his movie .
Halloween 1978, the greatest horror slasher of all time. It changed the horror genre forever. Thanks for sharing these locations with us! I am planning a trip to LA and Pasadena soon to see these locations for myself. Well done fellas! 👏🏻
He was my patient for fifteen years. He became an obsession with me until I realised there was neither reason nor conscience or anything about him that was even remotely human. An hour ago I stood up and fired six shots into him and he just got up and walked away. I am talking about the real possibility that he is still out there.
I actually went to Garfield Elementary School @ 8:22 from 2nd-8th grade. (It's a K-8th school). And my very first classroom, when I started attending the school in 2nd grade, happens to be right where Tommy is first seen walking, the first door to his left. I find it so coincidental because I've been a Halloween fanatic since I was really young (the holiday, not the movie) and the movie happens to be my favorite horror film. What are the chances I would attend this school?? lol Super awesome if you ask me. P.S. I attended the school from 2001-2008. I'm now almost 22 years old and still live in the same area. :)
that's cool man, ya my cousin went to that school to, it's actually right behind my grandma and grandpa's Old house in alahambra on Atlantic Blvd, I never knew they filmed the movie around that area until my cousin told me lol it's pretty cool
This movie is such a great piece of cinematic history. Scary, yet memorable. P. S. Thanks for unleashing Jamie Lee Curtis on the horror genre, John carpenter!

+adamthewoo Adam have you ever thought of doing one on Halloween III: Season of the Witch. I loved the film as a kid, would love to see what the town looks like today..
I have to tell you guys. You did an amazing job, this video was precise, funny, and informative. One of the best videos on TH-cam ever. Congratulations, you did it.
+Sparrow9612 The serious answer is that Mike is a supernatural being and conventional logic goes out the window. He can appear and disappear like a ghost. He can teleport. Go ahead and shoot his eyes out, he'll grow them back. He can even change his hair color when he's pissed off enough, as seen in part 4 when he hurls Loomis through the classroom door.
All these filming locations are very insightful, Adam. I'd love to see locations Friday the 13th, Salems Lot, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Phantasm. Those would be eventful if you ask me.
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for this. Places and locations I have thought about and wanted to see, ever since first seeing the film, and been a long term fan. The wonders of modern technology. You have brought it to my own living room. Really enjoyed watching this. Well done you two.

Wow, this was really awesome. I've been a huge fan of the film for as long as I can remember, so it's pretty insane to see what became of the filming locations. Very entertaining as well.
You always find that you can watch other horror movies and enjoy watching them, but, you always come back to Halloween 1978 and there’s something very, very special about it, the same goes for The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Thank you for filming this as I’ll never get the chance to see this otherwise.
Fantastic documentary about this location, you Adam and your Co-Host did a very entertaining but informative video shot, even though when I saw this when I was a kid, I could tell that this must of been filmed in Cali, but I also wanted to ask was what were the reactions of some of the passerby's or residents when they saw the Michael Myers guy?

Thanks for doing this! Love this video. I can't believe The Hedge is still there. I would never change any of the places if I lived there. It is great that so much is pretty much the same.
