Sandler plays a variation of the same type of character in every single movie. He's always either a man-child of some sort or someone that used to be one. EXCELLENT choice for a comedy film and reactions, Jen!!!🎬👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽Two of the higher rated Sandler comedy films are "50 First Dates" (2004) and "The Wedding Singer" (1998). Coincidentally Drew Barrymore co-stars in both. You might want to consider the Horror/Comedy genre too, Jen. They seem to do well on viewership. "Tucker & Dale vs. Evil" (2010), "Zombieland" (2009), and the Cornetto Trilogy which includes: "Shaun of the Dead" (2004), "Hot Fuzz" (2007), & "The World's End" (2013). As I recall these films usually do well in reactions.

Shooter sucks! Jen, most of Adam Sandler’s movies from Billy Madison (1995) to 50 First Dates (2004) are all very funny, heart warming worth watching.
Even after that, The Longest Yard and a few others I’ll list here, were pretty good.
After that it seemed like he just sort of ran out of ideas and and wasn’t 100% in it anymore.
He has some good serious roles too, if you want to check out the more dramatic roles.
      Punch Drunk Love
      Spanglish
      Reign Over Me
      Uncut Gems
      My Adam Sandler comedy recommendations:
      Billy Madison
      The Wedding Singer
      The Waterboy
Big Daddy (I think this will be one of your absolute favorites) also stars a very young little Cole Sprouse.
      Mr. Deeds
      Anger Management
      50 First Dates
      Just Go With It

"Airheads" for sure, with Sandler, Steve Buscemi, Brendan Fraser, Judd Nelson, Michael McKean, Harold Ramis, Chris Farley, Ernie Hudson and David Arquette among other actors. Even a cameo from Lemmy!

Hey Jen, "Happy Gilmore" is definitely my top Adam Sandler film but an extremely close second, and the next film I'd like you to react to is "The Wedding Singer" (1998 - an absolute 80s blast!). Along with these: "The Waterboy" (1998); "Billy Madison" (1995); "Big Daddy" (1999); "50 First Dates" (2004); "The Longest Yard" (2005); "Anger Management" (2003); and a tie between "Mr. Deeds" (2002) and "Click" (2006). Another great comedy film that he produced but doesn't star in is "The House Bunny" (2008) which always leaves me in stitches! That needs to be on your list too. Ben Stiller's role was definitely a great side character for the film. "It's all in the hips." 😄😄 📽❤️

It would have been good if only Sandler had been able to actually act at the climactic moment at the end instead of hamming it up... ☹

    "He's a man-child!"
Adam Sandler's best brand of comedy!
The era of Sandler movies/cameos from his time on SNL (90-95) to the end of the century are all pretty great. Underrated picks from the era are Bulletproof (with Damon Wayans) and Airheads (with Brendan Fraser and Steve Buscemi). Post 2000, I only really enjoy him in cameos, Punch Drunk Love, and Anger Management.
For my favorite Sandler cameo - Dirty Work, with the late great Norm MacDonald

In the original script, Happy was just supposed to beat up Bob Barker, but Bob Barker refused to do the movie unless he got to win the fight. So they made the rewrite, and everybody agreed it was much funnier that way.

Bob Barker had to stipulations before agreeing to be in the movie. The first one was that he won the fight, so they re-wrote it to where Barker kicked his ass, and the second one that he did all the fight scenes himself. They way he pulled it off was he was training with Chuck Norris and nobody on set knew about it.
