Mr. Larsen was played by the late Richard Kiel, who was best known as the henchman Jaws in two James Bond films, "The Spy Who Loved Me" and "Moonraker"
The shirt the big construction (nail in the head) guy was wearing toward the end cracked me up. "Guns don't kill people, I kill people!" ... I remember the Bob Barker scene being the most talked about scene after this movie came out.
The coin placed down on the green is a common golf practice, it’s used as a ball marker, so as to keep the green as clear of obstacles as possible, they make dedicated ball markers, but a coin usually suffices
Adam sandler uses a lot of his friends in his happy madison produced films, allen covert the homeless guy helped write act and produce the movie Grandma's Boy. he's got a total of 48 acting credits.
Sandler has some VERY fun movies. The Wedding Singer, Billy Madison, 50 First Dates, Mr Deeds, Click, and others. Worth diving into some others if you can find time (I'd say The Wedding Singer is the best of the bunch).
Fun Fact: Not only was Bob Barker 73 years old in this film (now 99 years old, he will be 100 in December) but he also has a black belt in Karate and trained with Chuck Norris!
Shooter McGavin absolutely does not have the character to honor such an agreement with Happy. Therefore, along with his screams of horror, it's not unreasonable to conclude Shooter was brutally beaten to death by the angry crowd at the end, most likely on live national television.
I do like the "Gold Jacket. Green Jacket. Who gives a shit?" line. But then I like a lot of lines in this movie. Surely this is the best Adam Sandler comedy. Although I will entertain arguments for Billy Madison too.

Liz: I just realized that’s Apollo Creed. Mr. T: Apollo who? You talking’ bout that old fool Apollo Creed? (It probably would’ve been funnier if you cut to that line, but that’s just my opinion)
Great movie. Other great comedies like this are Adam Sandler Water boy. also Ben Steller There Somthing about Mary. A good sport movie drama based on a true story you should see is Rudy.
"I shouldn't be laughing at that"...People who say things like that in reaction to a slapstick comedy...IDK. It makes me wonder just how tightly wound they are in reality. MOM is subjective. My mother was very different lol
What was the point of Shooter grabbing and stealing the gold jacket? What good is it if he didn't really EARN it? And how come none of the other golf tournaments (besides the Masters) have a distinctive color jacket for the winner?
Happy Gilmore and Mr. Deeds (and Water Boy, I guess) are good Sandler movies. The rest are pretty much trash and just a reason for him to hire (read: pay) his jobless friends and film a vacation.

The Bob Barker fight scene is comedy gold 😂😂😂
Give the "JACKSASS!" guy some credit, he made it all possible.
"Now you gunna get it Bobby!"
I still mutter "go back to your shanties" virtually any time I'm in a store.
😂😂
"Must be Burt Reynolds or something" is my go-to any time I see a limo
That guy who keeps shaking his head with no lines is Lee Trevino Golf champion legend.
Shooter McGavin just makes the movie. Christopher MacDonald is always hilarious in the bad guy roll.
Christopher McDonnald was also brilliant as Lt Castillo in Star Trek TNG Yesterdays Enterprise
@@karter95that's where I knew him from!
I like how he works into every role the "oh... my... GOD!" line.
He Played the Bad Guy in the Iron Giant he was the General

"Guns don't kill people...I kill people." Laughed out loud when I saw that!😆
That's the guy who played Jaws in the James bond films.
To this day I’ve never seen a limo and not said “must be Burt Reynolds or something”.
The coin placed down on the green is a common golf practice, it’s used as a ball marker, so as to keep the green as clear of obstacles as possible, they make dedicated ball markers, but a coin usually suffices
Fun fact, Bob Barker was an actual boxer and he trained with Chuck Norris which makes the fight scene even better.
Martial artist not boxer, he had a black belt in karate and red belt in tang soo do
The clown spitting the ball out is one of my favorite surprise jokes of all time.
Adam sandler uses a lot of his friends in his happy madison produced films, allen covert the homeless guy helped write act and produce the movie Grandma's Boy. he's got a total of 48 acting credits.
You are the most realistic reactor! A PLUS! No big reaction, just reality!! Plus you're cute in a nerdy way!
One of my favorites - when I was a teen we only had like 10 movies on VHS tape and this was one.
Sandler has some VERY fun movies. The Wedding Singer, Billy Madison, 50 First Dates, Mr Deeds, Click, and others. Worth diving into some others if you can find time (I'd say The Wedding Singer is the best of the bunch).
Mr. Deeds is hilarious.
90s Sandler was the best. Fun reaction, as well, by the way! :)
This is one of many comedies that I wish I saw in the theater!
Fun Fact: Not only was Bob Barker 73 years old in this film (now 99 years old, he will be 100 in December) but he also has a black belt in Karate and trained with Chuck Norris!
13:08 -- Well like you said in that third Rocky movie I ain't got six months!
You know Carl Weathers as Apollo I know him from the NFL.
That “guy” is Lee Travino. He’s a old time professional golfer
24:29 I screamed
I really loved watching your video. Just subscribed.

This movie is f**king hilarious!
Crazy that you hadn't seen Happy Gilmore out of all of Adam Sandler's movies. It's the only one I personally think is good!
16:00 -- You gotta lay off that Dennis Rodman/John McEnroe crap, Happy. You're a professional now and you gotta ACT like it.
What was the point of Shooter grabbing and stealing the gold jacket? What good is it if he didn't really EARN it?
And how come none of the other golf tournaments (besides the Masters) have a distinctive color jacket for the winner?
24:04 i'd snag that Tee

You need to see Ben Stiller in The Secret Life of Walter Mitty. Not the classic character and an awesome movie.
Just stay out of my way, or you'll pay. Listen to what i say.
