I currently have fluke t6-1000 at work for doing minor electrical jobs( I am not an electrician. But can fix outlets and what not) I also have a bench top snapon meter I got in my automotive days working at dealership. Would you recommend a clamp meter or is my t-6 good enough that I wouldn't need one. I don't do electrical all that much, but I have this strange mind set that I need one because I don't have one and out electrican has one. I do help do maintenance on our hvac units so my thoughts are fluke 325. I would love to get fluke 376/378 but I have trouble justifying cost since I don't do all that much electrical work.
If I were you, I'd purchase a clamp meter that has all the bells and whistles from IDEAL INDUSTRIES trust me you won't regret it. By the way I did a video review of IDEAL INDUSTRIES newest clamp meter I think you'll find interesting. Thanks for sharing, good luck.
Another work horse of mine great tester they made
True, and the price makes it more attractive. 😆
Its a great tester for everyday carrying around since at that price its one you wont feel too bad about if you lose it
Well said, I totally agree. Thanks for sharing 👍🏽
Looks great. Gonna throw one in my main tool bag. I don't always bring my fluke clamp multimeter, but this can stay with me.
Good call!
Csn you use this on a car battery or alternator
Yes ,to check VDC of course.
How do you switch it to test AC?
It's automatic
