His harmonies were so rich & full to the point where they almost sounded like an actual instrument. That being said, this song was way up there so he had the vocals piped in when he was live. In the studio you can warm up & do multiple takes to nail it but doing it live while singing other songs before & after is just killer on the voice. Side note, I had such a lump in my throat when Stevie started getting choked up…..I hate that Michaels gone way to soon… love Stevie Tremendously as well
