    What you are saying is very, very true. In addition to that, it doesn't take a scholar to have ideas. My husband is a PhD. holder. I am form four leaver, but i am the one bringing all the ideas and implementing them. He just talk with no actions and try to kill my ideas when I am taking steps forward. He is just afraid of taking risks. 😂😂😂😂 I am happy with the outcome.

      What academicians fear is failing....that's why they learn hard to get good grades. It's good for their school life, but bad for their real-life success.
      Have you forgotten that in school, you are told to provide answers that are in the books? And during exams, you are given options to choose from? That's what has contributed to that. Many brains are put in boxes. The higher you climb the academic ladder, the more narrow your thinking becomes😅.

      True talk! Our educations system is not good, that's why, as a collective, we are of poor quality. The 'education' should shape our thought process for us all to bring something to the table, literally, for the betterment of the country; which is lacking. We complain about the politicians, but we are all the same. We will behave like the politicians if given the chance/opportunities. We need to be alarmed because it won't get better if we don't consciously address the issues to unlearn/recondition our minds.

    I was passing by a school the last time in Ghana, and I think the school was having what they call "career day" or something. And all these students were dressed as professionals. Bankers, pilots, nurses, police, soldiers, etc😅. Which is good, but I being a business person was very disappointed.
    Truthfully, none of these children or only a few will be motivated to be entrepreneurs because, at a young age, they are being programmed to work for people, get stuck in one place, wait for monthly salaries, retire, get pension pay, and die.
    If business and entrepreneurship are not made appealing to young folks, they will grow and have no desire to get into that. However, if about 80% or more of the richest people in the world are entrepreneurs/business owners...then it is something we should tell our kids more about.

    • @gh_blaqsoap2846
      @gh_blaqsoap2846 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      That's the sad reality! There's a disconnect between our industries and schools. Ideally, schools should invite 'successful' entrepreneurs to speak with the students and also organize field trips to industries for the children to see things 'happening'. I bet the school's name is something something "International" school, haha!

      @@SayIt-xf8gq Looks like, as a country, we don't understand "education". To the British, we were just one of their many colonies. We were mainly one of their sources of raw materials (they were pooling, that's why the country GH cannot make money or build wealth from selling raw materials). The education system they set up was for administration as opposed to making 'things'. We were not any wiser to contextualize it when we gained so-called independence.

    First I don’t know why we always praising the white about everything and bashing the black, because i also leave in abroad and I don’t see all this that they are visionaries, is individual affairs, we have black who have visions the same way white who has visions, and the same way the other hand. Now having vision doesn’t mean the vision can be established, many businesses collapsed because you had an idea but that idea was not for a long term. So just having a vision doesn’t make you a business person. I know people who are thinking and searching for a good idea to create wealth and also we have those who is okey with his 35$ h. Also we have to compare the percentage of the Indian, Ghanaian in abroad, the more percentage of people you have somewhere there you find Ghanaians who also can create wealth. If someone has a vision put it to work, when is good enough you will get people to support or you search for the team that can support you.
    Am just sharing my personal opinion respectfully.

      That’s a nice move. Some men are attracted to visionary women. I know a friend who is a truck driver and trained his girlfriend and they are now team drivers. They done rent house but sleep in their truck. If they do this in 5years the filthy rich.

    No matter the vision, etc., we all grow old and die. Beware of too much stress on trying to achieve everything. Also, sharing your abode with others in order to save is stressful. Privacy is always good. Moreover, not all of us will open a business. The business you want to open, someone else will work for you.

      Adwoa the vision counts a lot. Growing old and dying should not prevent you from leaving generational wealth or living a better stress free life in your old age. Staying lonely too also sometimes causes stress which you still do not save some dollars. So staying together with shared rent is a smart idea. Yes workers will still be working for you but that should not prevent you from establishing one if u can

      @adwoaaddai9960 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @fabulous178 Yes, vision counts, but you don't have to stress yourself due to generational wealth. Someone will also continue from where you left off. Someone may inherit you and misuse what you left because they did not go through the pain and stress you went through. Also, I stated beware of too much stress in trying to achieve everything. Not that you shouldn't have a vision. Moreover, not sharing your abode with others does not mean you will live lonely. How would you be lonely when you live with your own peaceful family? Interview those who have done that, and a high percentage will tell you it is not a good idea. I am speaking from my experience, and you are also speaking from your experience. You may be right, and I may be right based on our audience. Thanks for your reply.
