  • Testing Ludicrous Lipos 4S HV packs in our heavily modified Scorched RC Parts Arrma Typhon as well as a full carbon drag wheelie bar and the new Scorched RC Parts alloy knuckles and Titanium Pillow Balls.
We like to try new things and right now power is key to speed runs. We are a massive user of Onyx packs for a reason but it’s always worth trying other things. These HV packs have plenty of punch but the rig we tested in needs way more voltage, we shall be doubling up to 4s with these Ludicrous packs to 8v and throwing them in our mighty Kraton to see what happens :)
The wheelie bar seems to do what it should. Is it the future for keeping the nose from lifting and sending speed run cars airborn? As stupid as it looks and sounds, I think it could be. There is an argument that no one uses them and keeping the nose of the car low ass up stops these air time disasters but I just think that for what it ways, it may be the thing that saves the car that one time. Time will tell.
The knuckles from Scorched are amazing, they take time to get right and use loads of thread lock but….the time and money is worth it I M O.
